Thank you Spa Guy for another great piece of ELVIS s History...I bet that all those fans who were waiting in line for hours to get tickets for the August 1977 concert, must of been devastated by ELVIS s passing,, like the rest of the world...I love the last picture of ELVIS in the car, HE looks so good and so happy..Thanks again Spa Guy, you are the greatest...****LONG LIVE THE KING****

For those of us who never had a chance to see Elvis perform, videos like this are gold. I feel that watching videos like this is the closest I can ever get to really seeing and experiencing what the event of an Elvis show was like. You have done a beautiful job making this one, like all of them. Thank you Spa Guy!

I dearly love these videos, showing where the shows were and all the associated hotels, arenas, etc. This is exciting to see where the legend occurred. Although t them at the time, they were doing what they loved, they never thought of how big this would become. Thanks for showing all this, I love to watch your videos.

My hometown is Dunn! I live near Goldsboro now but I frequently visit this area quiet often to attend the races at the Fayetteville Motor Speedway and Rock Fish Motor Speedway! Never realized Elvis stayed in this hotel! Breaks my heart to find out the Auditorium is about to be torn down! As I stated in a previous comment I will cherish this video forever!

It is awesome to have a log book and pictures so that we know for sure what happened. Sad that the building are being torn down. So glad that you got to film the Arena before it is gone. It's even sadder that the fans who camped out and got tickets never got to see Elvis. You know that many of them kept their tickets instead of cashing them back in just because they loved Elvis so much and wanted to hang onto them. Thank you so much Spa Guy for another great and true Elvis video.

Thank you Mr. Spa Guy, aka, Mr. Billy Stallings for another fantastic podcast of Elvis history. A shame that the Crown/Cumberland Arena is being torn down. Glad you got pictures of it before it is gone. Also Elvis flying in and out of a air force base as only Elvis could accomplish lol ! Those fans waiting all that time to obtain tickets and sadly not being able to see Elvis because of his passing...so sad. I love the picture of Elvis in the car and in the back seat it looked like. He looked good there. So sad that Gladas, Vernon, Elvis and Lisa Marie are now all gone... basically the Elvis Presley core family of three generations.
Safe travels and adventures Mr. Spa Guy... super sleuth in Elvis history. God's speed.

It's sad most of these places were Elvis sang are being pulled down it would be great if someone could save them as they would make a great museum and a great piece of Elvis history the way it's going there will be nothing left I know lots of people would visit them they hold a lot of history if one or two were to be saved it could be as big as Graceland it really hurts me to hear that those places are going to be gone. It's nice you managed to video them I like seeing these places and you telling everyone about Elvis when he appeared there great video I hope you do more before they're gone.

That’s my home arena Billy! Saw Rick Flair there several times LOL METALLICA in 1989 and even walked across the stage when I graduated high school. My mom was there to see Elvis as well …she sat in the section behind Elvis with my dad. She had a ticket for the final show there but obviously that never happened. I’ve asked her about what she did with the ticket ..they had a tribute concert the following year there after his passing she used the ticket then they allowed that or a refund. Great video as always! Sure would be nice if you could do a video of Duluth, Minnesota where Elvis had played not long before he died. I remember I lived in International Falls, MN. that last year or so, and delivered the Duluth morning newspapers and remember reading the articles when he came to town, I think twice in that last year or so. He landed with the Lisa Marie and 2 other airplanes those times. And stayed in the Radisson Hotel, had the top 3 floors I believe. I was 15 at the time & one of my school friends mother actually went to see him, she told me the show was awesome! And sadly I also delivered the paper the morning after he died. I'll never forget and was some sad times.

Wow.... I cant believe you did this video and I am seeing it. I have been looking on Google earth a couple of times trying to find this place. In 1988-89, I went here to see Reba McEntire preform. As I was in the lobby waiting to go in, there was a bulletin board in a glass case that had photos from when Elvis played there. I was surprised I was in the same building that he had a concert. I was convinced the building was gone since I couldn't locate it on Google earth, which it could be now , since I dont know when you did this video, but you can go back in years and it might show up....... I wrote this first part before watching the rest... and Yes! the photos you were talking about being thrown out must have been the ones I saw back then. Also in your video, when your shooting down the lobby, I see that glass case on the left wall and just past that was the doors we went into. That would have been at that time the back of the seating area for the Reba concert.

I was at that concert. My family traded out saving our spot inline. Us kids would stay after school, my mom went after work and my dad slept overnight. The crazy thing about the concert is they had to move the line to the parking lot because, Mott the Hoople was playing that night. I know that the concert that was canceled, we had front row tickets but he had died. We went to one of the 3 days. After, "Elvis has left the building, my mom had me go on stage and grab his sweat towel but I was stopped by security. I think have pictures of us in the line.

Thank you friends from Seville, Spain. I really like all these videos, photos and memories about Elvis and the places where he performed with his group, his friends and bodyguards and his beautiful girlfriend, who I love. It seems that he loved him very much and helped him a lot, even in hospital admissions, but she had to go and leave him because she knew he wasn't going to change and she was wasting away inside. Then Ginger Alden came along, but for me this woman, apart from Pryscilla, is the women who put up with that fantastic lifestyle and at the same time so destructive, that in the end they took him to the grave too soon. I am a big fan of Elvis.

Billy I sent you an email about a year ago. I use to be in a multi sales business Amway that had pep rally’s there and the 2000s. I mentioned to you about the Fayetteville NC location before . I used to have multiple pictures of the pictures of Elvis at that location. The pictures stated that they sent Elvis’s piano there before the show that he had scheduled before he died. The piano was left at that location and was still there in early 2000’s . I am 53 years of age today so I don’t have a memory problem. I am 100% sure of what I am telling you. The piano is probably in someone’s private collection along with those photos. I am a native of Raleigh,NC. So find Elvis’s missing piano. That is the scoop
    Thanks
    Love your channel

Omy goodness,, yes yes, I live in Fayetteville and did go to the Wednesday night concert. I was 12 then. We saw the Lisa Marie at airport and also the Ramada Inn he stayed at.
He had 3 rooms and had Reynolds wrapped windows. There were his concert photos encased in autotorium for display but suspiciously not there anymore. Hotel is still there, Autorium still there. And yes,, the Lisa Marie sat at Fayetteville reg. Airport. Saw it. Jet sat at the private airplane side. Everything still standing !!!!!

Cool. I had seen that picture and it was said to have been in Atlanta 76 but I wondered what part of the Omni it could have been in. Now I know it was not in Atlanta.

Can’t believe it’s being torn down. I like way is. I don’t think bigger and better is always the way to go. I would love to go on an adventure sometime. Maybe we could pile in my motorhome and make it happen sometime.
