How to Remove a Honda Engine Honda 3 wheeler, HELP! ATC Repair
This episode explain the how I remove the vertical engine class of the Honda 3 wheeler. This approach will apply to the 185-200cc class ATC. The next video in this series will be a top end rebuild and a head re-conditioning.
Each video in this series breaks down another step in the process of rebuilding and maintaining your Honda ATC 3 wheeler. Think of this series as a how to or an online shop manual for easy, quick repairs for your 3 wheeler. I pick up where the dealer has left off. Many of these tips will apply across the model lines of most ATC 3 wheelers from the 70, 90, 185, 200 and even the 250cc four strokes and 350x. I focus on the major repairs that are most common to ATC owners. I show you how I make the repairs and hopefully you will save some money for yourself and be able to get back on the trail enjoying your ATC.

Can I use a Honda 250 4 wheeler engine in a Honda 3 wheeler bolt pattern etc.
the 250 engine from a trx250 4 wheeler will bolt into a 250es 3 wheeler, but not into a 200cc 3 wheeler
Where do you get parts for these older bikes
Surprisingly honda still makes a lot of them. Ebay, amazon and of course online forums help a lot too.

Honda’s don’t die, They hibernate
I also use a lift for working on trikes, but when I pull the engine out of a chain drive model, I like to have it sitting on the tires. That way I can straddle the machine to pick up on the engine for easier moving in and out. It also won't try to tip since it's already on the ground.
You are correct, I have pulled several like that and its a good way to do it. I really should have strapped this chassis down. Thanks for watching.
My aunt has held onto one that I used to ride when I was a kid and been thinking of restoring it any suggestions other than eBay for parts also this helped me very much

Amazon ( I have links in my descriptions) ebay, join FB groups like Honda Hoarders etc. Look for my next video, its all about Parts Bikes, and How important they are. Well now you've done it. You made me go out and get an 84 200m after binging on your channel. She's a bit rough around the edges but I think I can sort it out. Gonna need to overnight about 15k of parts from Japan though.
