2:34 "He cannot survive in earth's atmosphere without a special breathing aparatus..." 2:48 "Ronan's powers include but are not limited to, the ability to adapt to almost any environment, hostile or otherwise" Well....sounds like he needs to work on that a little bit.
He can survive in the vacuum of space without a breathing apparatus and was shown to survive in an environment similar to earths in GoG, plus his hammer can manipulate energy fields around him, why not just use that to create his own personal survivable environment around him whilst on earth, gets rid of the need of the breathing apparatus he supposedly needs, wtf does he breath in space
I didn't realize it until days later when I saw some link on facebook or something that named a few of the actors of the movie and then I saw the name Lee Pace and was like "wait a second, Lee Pace was in gotg?"
Not a huge fan at how Ronan is generally referred to as a Villain. Yes, he's taken a number of antagonistic roles, but the character in general is neutral in alignment, acting for the betterment of the Kree. He's done a number of good things and such, what with leading the Kree against the Annihilation Wave, helping fight back Ultron's Phalanx, and, of course, taking part in Nova's strike team against Lord Mar-Vell. He was even part of the Annihilators, the successors to the Guardians after Starlord is trapped in the cancerverse and presumed dead.
He honestly should not have been the villian in GOTG movie nor should he have been part of thano's army. If this was the comics ronin he would actually be on the Avengers side because he only cares about the Kree
I loved lee pace's ronin but I was so bummed out that they killed him off in GOTG, although i find it to be a 10/10 film. I hope he finds a way back into the series.
i think ronan is one awesome villain/antihero. i think he is a very fascinating character who is very underrated. i liked him in GOTG and lee pace's portrayal even though i would liked to have seen more of his background explored in the movie and more of his antihero side rather than hardcore villain part of him
and Marvel killed him off in GoG... Great use of a character he had so much potential... had . Damn Marvel's killing off almost all bad guys from movies except from Loki, Abomination and Thanos!
Oh right Hammer! Was'nt impresed by the character so I tend to forget of him. Also Red Skull I also think he's alive but I want to hear it from an official news or else because as far as I know Marvel haven't said if he is alive or not. Plus he must be like what 80-90 years old if he's alive...
In the comics no one stays dead, but in the movies so far Red Skull hasn't given sings of being alive nor the Studio, plus Hugo Weaving isn't interested on the role aparrently
TheBlond49 well he kinda couldn't after the guardians did it for him but i see where you're going with that because Thanos is one of the biggest if not the biggest supervillain in Marvel Comics
They are just building up the presence toward Thanos. He was teased at the end of the first Avengers movie, and had more of a screen presence in the Guardians of the Galaxy. He will be more of a prominent threat as the Marvel Universe story continues. Don't forget, Drax the Destroyer mentioned at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy that he wants to get his hands on Thanos to avenge the murder of his family.
I'd put my money on Ronan ! That elf in thor 2 just wasn't cutting it with my and the way Ronan went about it was more like you want to ride with himjust like thanos daughter did
FANDM4EVA For me Ronan showed a huge contrast in tone with the movie. Scenes with the guardians were funny, quirky, while Ronan just brought the mood to seriousness. Besides....the way he smacked Drax like nothing and took a lot to practically bring him down.
***** Say what I want about him? Okay, he's an obscure bottom-of-the-barrel character and a one note villain that was handled by Disney with all the narrative grace of an anal polyp.
Ronan is straight-ul my favorite Marvel villain, up there with my five favorite comic book characters of all time. Lee Pace did a great job, but I'm bummed they killed him off and didn't let him live to return and develop into the awesome antihero he becomes in the comics.

I really dont see why anyone had a problem with movie ronan, he was played flawlessly and the big mcguffin bomb holding badguy took a back seat to the witty script and character interactions anyway so it all kind of balanced out.
Top Ten Twitter mishaps. Basically controversy due to what someone posted on twitter. We get alot of those anyway. Might make an interesting top ten list.
These "Origins" videos are some of the best you guys produces\. That being said, the only others I can think of are top tens. Basically I'm here to complain about the fact that your TH-cam trailer doesn't do your channel justice.
***** Funny cause I wasn't comparing the two at all. I as an audience member just didn't really connect with him. Sure he was badass at times, but he wasn't very likable at all. He's definitely not the worse Marvel villain but he was far from the best.
The story mostly centered on the gairdians. Ronan did get enough screen time though, making him a good enough villain for a really entertaining movie. He is forgettable though.
I believe that is actually how you pronounce, and spell Captain Mar-Vel's name. I think he is called Mar-Vel because (I'm not to sure about this, sorry) there is a Dc superhero named Captain Marvel. Yes, I am a Marvel nerd :/
Ronan was the biggest disappointment in the first film(next to the Novas). He was badass in the comics and had great potential in the film but his lines/characterization fell short and his death was completely stupid - a supposedly brilliant military strategist/public accuser being distracted by dancing? Come on. All he had to do was touch the ground and Peter’s dancing would be meaningless - ironic that he should die this way when not moments earlier saying “none of that will matter when we reach the surface”. Gunn used a fantastic character as a super villain/convenient source of filler to forward an already weak plot. At least he was well cast, Lee Pace did an excellent job for what little he had to work with. That being said, I was entertained by the film despite massive plot holes, and will without a doubt be right in line to see the sequel.
Aymer de Valence that is very true because they always want make shitty characters like these to compensate for the actual hero but it is never the same
Aymer de Valence and correct you are about this because the fans will never want a wonder woman knock off to appear on the comics because they know it will never work
SurfintheHighway I actually thought your giving me a sensible answer. Sweetheart, I didn't know that you will be vomiting out all the nonsense that is in skull
Matheus Lacerda I don't think it's a big deal because 480p is not going to harm your eyesight or anything. It's good enough. Plus, they upload about 4 videos a day, which would be imposible if they were all being uploaded in full HD
Why didn't he not appear in the neither of the "Fantastic Four" films, if he was first seen in FF comic? Sorry, not much of a comic book freak, so I would't know a lot. Plus, it sucked he had to die in "Guardians of the Galaxy."
Nice that they ended on that last we saw of Ronan in EMH, reminding me that was on of thousands of plots that didn't get resolved because Marvel Animation is run by idiots.
DC Animation >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Marvel Animation
Too bad that Marvel didn't get movie license from Fantastic Four and X-Men back. That's why Ronan became a villain, or create an explanation that movie Ronan is a Chitauri agent. I mean he's more like Judge Dredd but willing to work with heroes (Annihilators comic) than a fundamentalist.
2:34 "He cannot survive in earth's atmosphere without a special breathing aparatus..."
2:48 "Ronan's powers include but are not limited to, the ability to adapt to almost any environment, hostile or otherwise"
Well....sounds like he needs to work on that a little bit.
the apparatus is an adaptation right?
+hamsterminator You can adapt to environments with the aid of technology...Humans are a great example of that.
key word almost
A exactly lol the key word is almost.
Ability to adapt to any environment hostile or otherwise, needs breathing apparatus to survive on earth, seems legit
IKR?
*Almost
He can survive in the vacuum of space without a breathing apparatus and was shown to survive in an environment similar to earths in GoG, plus his hammer can manipulate energy fields around him, why not just use that to create his own personal survivable environment around him whilst on earth, gets rid of the need of the breathing apparatus he supposedly needs, wtf does he breath in space
It took me the whole movie to finally recognize Ronan as Lee Pace from Halt and Catch Fire. It was really his voice I recognized.
I didn't realize it until days later when I saw some link on facebook or something that named a few of the actors of the movie and then I saw the name Lee Pace and was like "wait a second, Lee Pace was in gotg?"
Thranduil 🔥
His best scene in Guardians was the scene where he snaps the neck of Thanos' crony, that takes balls.
you mean The Other
i wish he would kill Thanos too
Lee Jun You're joking right? Do you know how incredibly powerful Thanos is?
XD
inFAMOUSBlastshards if he own the infinity stone

So he's somewhat of a lawful evil.
Basically he might conquer, but if there's a bigger threat, he will help to an extent.
I loved lee pace's ronin but I was so bummed out that they killed him off in GOTG, although i find it to be a 10/10 film. I hope he finds a way back into the series.
Ronan the Accuser sounds like a captain name from Shadow of Mordor
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I killed that guy...
i think ronan is one awesome villain/antihero. i think he is a very fascinating character who is very underrated. i liked him in GOTG and lee pace's portrayal even though i would liked to have seen more of his background explored in the movie and more of his antihero side rather than hardcore villain part of him

the "great use of a character" is sarcasm by the way
Oh right Hammer! Was'nt impresed by the character so I tend to forget of him.
Also Red Skull I also think he's alive but I want to hear it from an official news or else because as far as I know Marvel haven't said if he is alive or not. Plus he must be like what 80-90 years old if he's alive...
No one is ever truly dead in the marvel universe.
In the comics no one stays dead, but in the movies so far Red Skull hasn't given sings of being alive nor the Studio, plus Hugo Weaving isn't interested on the role aparrently
$poilerDude Red skull got sent to the noid world or whatever the reality stone does. While he may have returned.
Ronan the accuser is one of my top favorite intergalactic characters in all of comics
@TheBlond49, he was nowhere nearly as bad as Malekith in Thor 2. He wasn't the best Marvel villain, but he was still enjoyable to watch on screen.
I'm afraid for Thanos that might end up the same way, and he was in that movie and did nothing to punish Ronan for stealing his gem.
TheBlond49 well he kinda couldn't after the guardians did it for him but i see where you're going with that because Thanos is one of the biggest if not the biggest supervillain in Marvel Comics

CyborgPhoenix Nope, that'll be Galactus :P
I'd put my money on Ronan ! That elf in thor 2 just wasn't cutting it with my and the way Ronan went about it was more like you want to ride with himjust like thanos daughter did
I loved Ronan in Guardians of the Galaxy. He played a really solid villain.
I loved Ronan in the film. Loads of people hate him but I loved it. :)
You can't totally blame them; Ronan was a total jerk. But you know what? They can stick it where they live, because it was awesome!
FANDM4EVA For me Ronan showed a huge contrast in tone with the movie. Scenes with the guardians were funny, quirky, while Ronan just brought the mood to seriousness. Besides....the way he smacked Drax like nothing and took a lot to practically bring him down.
I liked how Doug Walker described Ronan in GOTG that he's such a serious character that it should be interpreted as humourous.
Ronan seems more like an antihero than a villain.
I LOVE Guardians Of The Galaxy! Such a good movie!!!
Say what you want about this guy, but there is no doubt that he has the most epic death of any villain the the MCU to date.
***** Say what I want about him? Okay, he's an obscure bottom-of-the-barrel character and a one note villain that was handled by Disney with all the narrative grace of an anal polyp.
+hafabee I'll agree with the last part, but the other two-thirds of your statement can go back where they came from. :p
+Badnews Boreton he should've been killing fools instead of watching star Lord dancing like a damn fool smh........
terrence rhodes Can't have Disney villains _winning_ though, can we? I mean, it just doesn't fit their formula. :|
@@FiremistDreamwalker lol i am from the future and thanos won
Lee Pace needs to play this character again
OHH! I saw him on The Guardians Of The Galaxy movie earlier, VERY extreme and deadly too! BIG Time!
Ronan is straight-ul my favorite Marvel villain, up there with my five favorite comic book characters of all time. Lee Pace did a great job, but I'm bummed they killed him off and didn't let him live to return and develop into the awesome antihero he becomes in the comics.

Super villain origins: Cheetah (Wonder Woman comics) and the reverse flash prof. Zoom.
Do a video on Beta Ray Bill
Super villain origins: Nebula
Should have kept Ronan for more appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Wow! They really under-represented him in the movie!! 7 feet, 480 pounds!! And he can be invisible?!! Bad ass!!
Ronan: What are you doing?
Star Lord: I'm dancing.
Ronan is awesome!
"Ability to adapt to different environments"...Cant survive earth's atmosphere without an apparatus. Yeah, he's really adaptable. haha
Ronan is the prelude to the sith joining the MCU
I really dont see why anyone had a problem with movie ronan, he was played flawlessly and the big mcguffin bomb holding badguy took a back seat to the witty script and character interactions anyway so it all kind of balanced out.
Ronan is my favorite Marvel villain
I actually liked Ronan very much in the movie. I saw him more as a parody of basicly every villain in the MCU.
1:22 - 1:28 Is it just me or is that the same voice actor of Harbinger (Mass Effect 2)/Didact (Halo 4)...
Great video! Now, about that origins of Question video.....where is it?
Found him all too average in the GOTG movie.
Kinda hard to make a 7 1/2 ft 500lb dude on the big screen
Sanic Not in that way. The way he looked was fine, but he was just an all around forgetable villain.
MTACritic Kinda hard to upstage Loki
***** Funny cause I wasn't comparing the two at all. I as an audience member just didn't really connect with him. Sure he was badass at times, but he wasn't very likable at all. He's definitely not the worse Marvel villain but he was far from the best.

I LOVE LEE PACE
So many people don't know that Darkseid is a copy of Ronan
They underplayed his true strength in Guardians. Still my favorite super hero though.
best moment from him " what are you doing ".
Corey Stoll as Yellow Jacket looks more badass than Ronan the accuser
Boo they didn't mention his future marriage :-(
He was the best part of Guardians of the Galaxy.
I miss that animation and that series
Like what ur doing!will always be a fan!!!!
OMG,the fantasic four 06 cartoon,I barely remebember that show!
Too lame in live action of Guardians Of The Galaxy, exact same generic villain like Malekith in Thor 2.
It's a shame, and Captain Marvel (2019) didn't help that. 😪😪😪😪😪
This sounds like something mormons would believe in.
One of my favorite villains
"Captain Mar-vel"
Uhhh...
I believe that is actually how you pronounce, and spell Captain Mar-Vel's name. I think he is called Mar-Vel because (I'm not to sure about this, sorry) there is a Dc superhero named Captain Marvel.
Yes, I am a Marvel nerd :/
Declan Chapman Yes, there is a superhero called Captain Marvel in the DC Universe, although I think in the New 52 he's named Shazzam now.
That's how to pronounce it. His name is Mar-vell
Rogue Helios Ah, thank you :)
Also, sorry about replying to this after 4 days, I've been a bit busy.
XSsoundlevels Shut up...
He’s actually been portrayed as more of a Anti Hero during his time with the Annihilator Team.
Why is there never a HD option on your videos ?
Lee Pace was AWESOME!!!!
how about a Super villain origins deadshot or even Dormammu please could you do these ones and could you say thanks for me giving you the idea?
smart enough to be chosen ad the supreme accuser, but not smart enough to understand dance
03:00 Cap's feeling fabulous today.
He kinda reminds me of darkseid. Anybody else agree?
***** Hmmm he has this "I want to take over" kinda vibe that reminds me of darkseid. He almost looks like him too.
I am a Robot Thanos seems a lot more like Darkseid to me
Kosmic Malware Anyway, Darkseid was the inspiration for Thanos.
Iron Man Many DC characters were inspirations for Marvel.
I think Thanos is more of a direct copy of Darksied
Why enter mojo but 720 on their videos?
He cannot service survive in earth's atmosphere.
He has the ability to adapt to any kind of environment.
Don't you think they contradict????
wow at 2:59 the combat is so riveting =P

+Cap Mar-Vell92 executive interropt things frequently
+Cap Mar-Vell92 Ronan was wayyy better in the movie, IMO that is.
Hey, Watchmojo! SUPERHERO ORIGINS OF ROGUE, NOW!
Judge Ronan has just entered the building.
The name "Ronan" actually has a meaning.
I just unlocked him on Marvel Champions but I don't know if I want to keep him or not
2:18 Captain Mar-VELL?
Aymer de Valence Carol Danvers is now captain marvel and there is a movie coming out about her
Aymer de Valence I understand that I just thought you didn't know that happened but captain mar-vell is the true captain marvel
Aymer de Valence that is very true because they always want make shitty characters like these to compensate for the actual hero but it is never the same
Aymer de Valence and correct you are about this because the fans will never want a wonder woman knock off to appear on the comics because they know it will never work
always in 480p..why?
Why does it matter? The video is 90% pages of 1960's comics. How much definition do you need for that?
SurfintheHighway I actually thought your giving me a sensible answer. Sweetheart, I didn't know that you will be vomiting out all the nonsense that is in skull
Hang on, I will bring you a box of doilies, Your Royal Highness.
SurfintheHighway but ALWAYS? don't you think is too much? Specially cause films like the first Alien are already in blu-ray
Matheus Lacerda I don't think it's a big deal because 480p is not going to harm your eyesight or anything. It's good enough. Plus, they upload about 4 videos a day, which would be imposible if they were all being uploaded in full HD
Little known fact is that his greatest weakness are dance offs.
Ronan was also in the anime DISK Wars Avengers.
And he was awesome there, even if the show's premise is utterly stupid. I still enjoy it. :D!
Why didn't he not appear in the neither of the "Fantastic Four" films, if he was first seen in FF comic? Sorry, not much of a comic book freak, so I would't know a lot.
Plus, it sucked he had to die in "Guardians of the Galaxy."
1st - origin movie means automatic dr doom
2nd - they decided to get silver surfer and galactus out the way
Oh ok. The first film was good. The 2nd film, not really!
You should make a supervillain orgins about the revers flash
can you do, captain boomerang, moon knight and huntress?
How to defeat him: Dance off bro!
The dance off to save the galaxy!
Should have listed the fact that his powers aren't actually his, and are derived through his weapon, and his armor mostly.
I would like to see Superhero Origins: The Question from DC, and Supervillain origins: Jack O' Lantern from Marvel.
Same name Yeah we're practically the dude
Wow. I thought Ronan had some history with the Guardians of the Galaxy in the comics. Guess not.
Can you please do something Total Drama related? I don't care what. Just something TD related. Please?
I love Lee Pace! 😍
He isn't really a super villain he is neutral
He even crushed Black Dwarfs head
Can you do the origins of king shark
They did.
If I determined another Nexus trailer I will explode.
Nice that they ended on that last we saw of Ronan in EMH, reminding me that was on of thousands of plots that didn't get resolved because Marvel Animation is run by idiots.

Ronan
Ever consider doing the Origins of Miss Marvel.
You forgot I can't breathe on Earth. But thanks for the good video.
Ronan is the best supervillain by far
looks badass in the movie
Cartoon Network is older than I thought

Can you do superhero origins of haunt
Top ten hammers in movies, cartoons and comics
I approve of his name
You guys should do spiderwoman and vixen!!! More superheroins!
you forgot to mention he also married Crystal of the In-humans to solidify Kree/Inhuman relationships
A Video about Rocket Raccoon?
Too bad that Marvel didn't get movie license from Fantastic Four and X-Men back.
That's why Ronan became a villain, or create an explanation that movie Ronan is a Chitauri agent. I mean he's more like Judge Dredd but willing to work with heroes (Annihilators comic) than a fundamentalist.
Superantihero origins: submariner
Upload in HD.
Ronan is badass
