Just got mine. She had 8600 miles on her. She was drivin 400 to 500 mi every year, never sat. Came stock with original tires. Replaced the tires and been having a hell of a time driving her. She might not be a 800 hp beast, but easily makes enough power to get me in trouble. She is as much car on the street as I will ever need, and she is so hot lookin! I love the color and the 50th badges look great. Cheers to everyone else who has been lucky enough to enjoy one.

I just picked up this exact 50th edition c5 except mine is automatic. I am amazed how many people love and complement a 17 year old corvette. it really is beautiful. I see these only going up in value in the next 20 years

You know, it's funny, since the introduction of the C8 I find myself appreciating the looks of the older models even more. This C5 looks great!

Just got my 2003 convertible 50th anniversary edition a week ago. 6 speed, 14K miles. REALLY like it. Surprised with how smooth shifting it is. Great car.

C5 was always my favourite look on the Corvette. That and the old Stingray my grandfather had.

A Corvette to me will always be a front engine car with pop up headlights.

Love mine. It only has 35,000 miles on it and looks brand new. Sounds amazing.

The c7 is my favorite Corvette, but the c5 model (being a close second) is what I remember the most from my childhood. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

To answer your question, YES! Now is the time to buy any year previously owned Vette. I think we will see an increase of used Vettes for sale, now that the C-8 model is finally here. A lot of Vette owners who want to order and buy a new model will want to sell theirs first. Also, the low price of the C-8 may affect the price of the used models, negatively. For those of us who are old school or just prefer the traditional Vette with the engine up front, this will be a great time for buying the older generation model. Especially when the C-8 is in the dealerships next year. I'm sure Iv'e mentioned this before, but where I live the traffic is controlled with large speed bumps, which affects which generation I can purchase. Over the years, Chevy has lowered the Vette, somewhat. I think the C-4 is about as far as I can go, especially with so many owners adding lowering kits to their cars. Great presentation, Joe. Keep em' comin', thanks.

I currently own a C5 50th and love it, but just FYI, those wheels are aftermarket but have been painted to match the original wheel color.

My friend took me to Chevy dealer in his 03, to pick up parts. When the dumb sales girl was like time to trade in that outdated Corvette for new one. I'm like sigh, outdated? This look is iconic and i like more with every new style coming out

A corvette is a small warship. It is traditionally the smallest class of vessel considered to be a proper (or "rated") warship. The warship class above the corvette is that of the frigate, while the class below was historically that of the sloop-of-war.

Was about to go to my office but got a notification of Joe and a corvette. You know I’m clicking play. Work can wait. C5’s are one of the better buys out there. Always have been. Great video and nice car. Also if you can get a Corsa exhausts then always do it. Alright off to work! Have a good one guys!
