Now I've brought it up above 78K miles - and I've driven through 43 of the Lower 48 States. I drove across the Southland (Atlanta to Las Vegas), end-to-end on Route 66, and end-to-end on the Lincoln Highway - and I spent the last week driving through upstate New York, and the six states of New England (Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut). I'm planning, God willing, to finish my "Lower 48 State Challenge" July 2023 - rolling through Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North & South Dakota.

I pressure wash down the whole car at the coin car wash, before I use the wet wash mitt.
While the car is dirty, wash off the loose dirt from the entire car starting from the roof, and work down, don't want scratches from dirt particles or other abrasives.

i bought a brand new c5 in '02, but sadly sold it two years later. i am now starting to get a serious itch to buy another. it was an absolutely fantastic ride, outside of the garbage stock stereo system. man, the power was just unreal...
