Put a large wicker laundry basket under the sink, no curtain but definitely put curtains between lower cabinets to the left of the hutch. Maybe put your rags in a wire basket.
You know those hangers that are wooden with the clips on them for pants? You can use those on your wall and with the metal clips hang photos from them. It’s a cute idea for laundry room decor!
I love everything you have done so far. I'm wondering how often you actually have overnight guests. If it's often enough, I would say to keep adding a few items such as a coffee pot with the glass mugs on a tray on the counter. If it's not very often, I would probably have those items available but store them in the cabinets. You could easily take them out and arrange a beautiful counter before your guests arrive. Otherwise, you will be seeing that room each and every day, so I would decorate with decor that makes you happy. I know whatever you decide, it will look absolutely beautiful, as it always does!
Such fun.... I just love the light pine hutch! If you ask me, I would put a large tray where the lamp is and put all coffee supplies and maybe, toaster for easy access. Then, remove the gingham cloth and use on other 2 open spaces. Under the sink I would find a wicker basket to use as a large waste basket so you can see under the sink and easy to throw things away. You will move things around for quite awhile as things fall into place. Beautiful job hubby!
Like the gingham fabric. The clear coffee cups don't show up but that could be what you are looking for. I think a nice tray with cups, coffee press and toaster would be nice on that corner for guests. An accordion drying rack would work well in the spot by the sink. You will pull it all together, you always do 😁
@@PineandProspectHome I was thinking the same thing. l LOVE the idea of a tray that corrals all of the morning stuff. Designate an area where guests will go to prepare coffee, toast or whatever. A marble riser or lazy susan would be pretty to elevate some coffee syrups/creamers (Amazon has some that have a vintage cut glass look). There's a drawer beneath with a cabinet so you can use those hidden storage spaces for coffee pods, sugar, spoons, snacks, hot/cold cereal (which get put there just before guests come so there's no spoilage). The open space where you put the hamper can be where you slide a mini fridge. A small wicker garbage can would be nice. Both fabrics are pretty but like you, Andrea, I prefer the green gingham material. Let your hubby know that he did an amazing job. These are just some ideas but i'm confident that whatever you choose, it will be beautiful. Love this channel.
Wow ! If you love the green gingham , you could use it to line a pretty laundry basket for Under the sink . Also love the comment for a false back to hide pipes and using more crocks as they r functional and look amazing in your space .
First off, this laundry space is adorable! You have such an incredible eye for styling!! I would add a lamp in the corner near the hutch. It would really warm up that space. I would add a lamp whenever possible! Lamps add such interest with the light they provide and by bringing out textures with the shadows they give. I personally have a love/hate relationship with plug ins. A person almost canNOT have enough of them….but I DO try to hide them…even slightly. I hide them with framed art, books, plates, tall items, plants….and more. It is not hard to move those items if I need to use the outlet. The hutch seems like a perfect place to group the items to make your hospitality area. A hutch can be a space for anything….but it seems natural to house food and guest items there, plus it is close to the sink. You could even add inspirational books, just a few, for your guests to read. YOU may also need to be encouraged as you do endless laundry for your sweet boys!❤️ I truly love ALL you have done here!! I want to comment on the issue brought up of Temu. You know, we do our best with what we know….we need to follow the convictions that God, alone, gives us. I personally have boycotted a crazy popular store for 8 years. I have gone in to shop there a handful of times if it’s a wedding gift or I am shopping with a friend who wishes to go there. It’s been hard at times. I do not comment about it to others unless someone notices and asks me. Are there multiple other stores that could or should be boycotted? Probably….but I have stuck with one store (at this time) and I am sticking to my convictions. I am putting my time and attention to this store unless I am led to include more. I have kindly contacted my local store AND contacted people at the Corporate level. So my advice (that you didn’t ask for😬)is to pray about it and ask God to convict you if you should change a direction going forward. I always ask my husband as he is my friend whom I trust and admire and God often speaks to me through him. ❤ I respect his opinion. Blessings as you keep coming up with creative ideas and videos!! I really enjoy them! Thank you!!!!!!
Love what you did with the space. I'll put a tray underneath the glass bottle to prevent any spilling spot on the wood. And I won't put any fabric under your sink. The stone is so beautiful you have to let it open, or maybe a big basket. Thanks for sharing your house with us
I love the brick under the sink. It's a neat pop. Why not put a large laundry basket from Longer Berger or a wicker one under the and layer wash boards to hide plumbing. That lil wash board on the counter needs another behind it. They're fun to collect too. If you're keeping the toaster and another coffee pot for guests, hide the non laundry themed things inside the hutch. Just my ideas. I'm doing our laundry room/pantry and have a hutch my husband made for my first anniversary gift 42 years ago in there along with a Hoiser cabinet. I'm going to show him your sink. I love it!
As a grandma... with all your little ones... I would definitely put the vinegar , peroxide and bleach bottles on the top shelf. And I love the open brick under the great sink scallop. It would look great with a large oval laundry basket with white towels when you do have guests. I am glad you mentioned TEMU. I have been extremely hesitant ordering out of country, as I have had terrible luck with products not as portrayed on screen. Maybe I will try it out. Thanks for the code. The room turned out beautifully. What a great space . MY washer and dryer have been in the garage for 50 years next to my car! There is no room anywhere to relocate it.
I love the area below the sink and would not cover it up but put baskets and/or crocks under there. Also maybe more green plants on top of the hutch, real or fake. Love the toaster also Beautiful area Hope to see more of the basement
I agree! Don't hide the beautiful brick floor. A collection of crocks would be cute under the sink. I saw one vlogger paint her white plumbing dark to mimic the look of old pipes. Turned out great!
I like under the sink area left alone but if going with curtain I’d go with the gingham. More plants would look nice too. It will come together. Don’t rush it. Leave something fun to search for. You will know the right item when you see it on the hunt. It looks beautiful now though.
I was thinking the same thing. Use the hutch as the coffee bar and kitchenette. It is a slight separation from the laundry while blending in with it. You can store any linens, dishes, glasses, in it as well.
WOW your husband is so gifted with his ability to create such a great laundry room space. I love all your decorating ideas. I think my favorite is the gingham check sage green fabric. I like the lamp idea but I would use a small one or even no lamp and put in a wall socket type of night light/light. Maybe a couple flameless candles on the top shelf. No matter what you do, it will be adorable!! I always love all your decorating!! Plants in that area by the windows would be beautiful!! Great space!!
..I would put my Borax near the appliance for quik use... I love the gingham under the sink!... The other two under counter spaces; I'd find one tall basket ( not corner space), ....or, corner, curtained, and a wooden stool under the center, under-counter, space..
You and your husband did an amazing job with the laundry area. I actually like the openness under the sink area. It looks so finished and shows off the pedestal for the sink. I do understand that a curtain would hide less attractive items, however. I would maybe get a cute stand for the mugs and put it by the toaster. I think they get a bit lost on the shelf. But, I know whatever you decide, it will look great.
Your husband is a self taught contractor. Did you know that when you married him? Its very rare the way he installs tile and remodeled that old basement.
Voting for the gingham, is says cottage all over it. I agree with Mary Jo the clear coffee cups don't show up. I think plants and more pictures would add some cozy down there. Maybe a quilt. Just a suggestion. The dresses are lovely. Can't wait to see how you finish it up! We know it will be great! Hugs
Since you want to create a guest area, the lamp and toaster would look in the corner where the large jar with Borax is -- create a coffee/breakfast nook. Small fridge in the "knee" area beneath could house snacks & food items for your guests/children; or put shelving in that area for laundry or other accoutrements. And what about a plant on the far left side? Whatever you do, the area will look lovely and comfortable.
I like the gingham too. I have found old wooden ironing boards for children. Something like that could even be used for shelves. Your husband does beautiful work. You are blessed.
Love the concept of converting your laundry space into a shared kitchenette. It might not be a well established concept here in the States, but this is a common design in many European/old world countries that don’t have the space to have a separate laundry room. The two most common spaces for laundry machines to merge in is either the kitchen or the bathroom aka wash room. It might be a good idea to explore even the modern homes of these places, especially London homes where it’s very common to have the laundry machine to be in the kitchen. Most of the aesthetic are more modern, yet it should help influence a natural blend of the space. The baskets certainly helps with the aesthetics, I have big box like baskets above my kitchen cabinets where there is enough space to give both height and storage space. I’ve become a sucker hoarding baskets thanks to channels such as this amazing channel, there seems to always be a good reason to keep extra around. Just make sure you have room for a laundry basket haha. I like the gingham curtain, I think that you probably need a little more items to help cement the space. Personally, I’d add something to ties the space because the color looks a little washed down and just needs little touches of color to anchor certain focal points. More of the gingham curtain would help, and perhaps stick to the sage green pops here and there to help tie in the space. Right now you have the bones and structures yet it seems like a blank canvas, just waiting for the final touches. Perhaps once again adding those baskets might be nice 😆
As so many have suggested no curtain under the sink is a good suggestion and fill it with a large basket with smaller ones in it. Also just use rub and buff to make the plumbing look old.
Well there you go again accurately styling in the English cottage style! 😊 it’s looking absolutely beautiful!and knowing your love for the English cottage style, I’m from the UK and I can say that gingham is a must for this style! So I say definitely go with the gingham 👏👏 love it! Xxx
What a beautiful laundry room! As for the sink, I adore the brick and I would suggest putting a removable panel painted the same as the sink base (maybe the headboard you have in some of the walls) to the back to cover the sink then get an antiqued brass bucket or longer brass bucket and put faux ferns or hydrangea in it, this will allow that brick to be seen and still create an airy feel.
I love the gingham material! I’d cover the spaces under the cabinets but leave the sink open and maybe put a large wicker basket under there. Such a gorgeous space though so no matter what you decide it’ll be beautiful ❤
I think that I would use the wooden bowl for your wooden scrubby. And I think I would get a Long narrow white dish tray to put your glass softeners on it…Great job!
I love the warmth of the wood bowl vs stoneware. The other side needs a plate/coffee cup rack like you have in the kitchen. Then the little toaster and a basket of napkins or towels. Even a jar of tea bags...just ideas 😊
I'm not finished watching the video yet, but I just wanted to pause to tell you how much I appreciate you and your channel. I always look forward to your videos, you are so positive and genuine and I love the way you let us into your decorating process. Thanks for spreading your light through your videos!!
I love all your ideas as always! But I agree with the subscriber who mentioned that either the laundry decor or the kitchen decor needs to be elsewhere. At this point, the coffee pot, glasses, and toaster aren't playing nice with the laundry items. The plants and baskets can stay, whatever direction you go in. I vote for the green gingham. It's perfect, and goes well with the artwork. If it were me, I'd have the items for guests tucked away and switch things out before they arrive. You use the laundry area every day, though, and it should be as beautiful as possible !!!!
The gingham fabric is beautiful under the sink area. Those little scrub brushed would look really cute sitting on a small ironstone oval dish. Maybe put a little lamp in the corner, under the shelves. Your laundry room is amazing!
I love the look of little curtains under your sick. This will give you a super sweet soft look underneath and gives you hideaway storage. Put it behind the sweet bib your husband made for the sink base. Andrea, I absolutely love your laundry room. We are currently working on ours and you gave me some great ideas. I love your channel! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️❤️
I love the beautiful space you and your husband have created in the laundry room. I think the space below the sink should remain opened. It has beautiful legs and trim design as well as the pretty floor.. Find a wicker laundry lay it on it's side add some rolled towels and a vintage baby dress. For a pop of color a faux or live plant in a terracotta pot.
There is no right, wrong, first, or last area to decorate. You just do what makes you comfortable and take your time. I change my decor daily. Lol. Everything will come together.
Hi Andrea. You asked for opinions. Ok...here goes...a lamp where the toaster is now definitely. A taller one, you're correct that one didn't look right. Then move the toaster ( it is really attractive)in to the other side of the plug/socket. The baskets look great in the window wells but too much on the counter. The green gingham fabric in the cabinet gaps. Under the sink (husband did a beautiful job) I feel any fabric takes away from the beautiful carving. The sink, the carving and the brick ,all three together make a fabulous cohesive 'vignette'. Possibly a rectangular wicker basket (ie: french laundry basket) pushed back a few/several inches from the sink legs so as not to take away from it. So not a scary basement anymore.🤗 You may have received more opinions than you asked for.😏
Im thinking the pins in the glass on the top shelf, glass bottles top shelf also, mugs hanging from hooks, linen napkins in the baskets with long handles hanging also❤
Love the gingham check for the sink skirt. Another idea I’ve used for a glass jar or basket is to have several bars of Fels Naptha soap. It has a neat vintage looking wrapper and the soap is wonderful to pretreat stains. I don’t know if you use your scrubbing boards but I do and they are awesome to use in conjunction with the Fels Naptha soap.
I agree with another viewer. I would make the space as a kitchen area for guests and yourself, when you are in the basement. Maybe decorate closer to the washer and dryer, for the laundry decor.
Definitely love the gingham! The jars are super cute too with the labels. Just a quick tip: hydrogen peroxide has to stay in an Amber or dark bottle in order to stay active. 😘
Your style is impeccable and comes so natural for you! Definitely more green pants artificial or real for pops of green that goes so well with the paint color. your videos just get better and better!
So I was thinking of a toaster oven or a bagel toaster and adding condiments to the big basket like jams, packets for tea, etc. I love those Spring dresses on you and your husband is an amazing craftsman! ❤ Love your show!
Your laundry room is beautiful. I like the open space below your sink without curtains and your window is begging for plants. Thank you for sharing your home with us
What a lovely laundry space!!! Maybe consider keeping the laundry supplies on the hutch and focus on baskets and kitchenette items with the baskets, toaster, French press and mugs on the wall with the window wells… I love this delightful new space!!!
How fun to have a laundry room. I only have my washer and dryer in hallway closet. My suggestion for a laundry room addition would be a antique rug beater to hang on the wall. It’s alway a work in progress. Looking great.
I was thinking that under your sink is beautiful. What about a wicker oval laundry basket and use the cute material in the other openings. Loving your laundry room!❤
I am loving this laundry area. You must be over the moon decorating it. I know I would be. The green gingham is adorable. Adding it to the other spots would bring it all together. The babies breath in the crock ties in with the green check beautifully. It's so lovely just like the rest of your home.❤
Hi Andrea! Just found your channel, second new one today and I'm so excited. The dresses are so pretty and I assume that was your bedroom you were standing in showing them, how lovely. I am getting ready to organize and style my laundry room hopefully in the next week or two. I think the iron on wood is veneer. I have a few antiques with that on them and when they have broken that is what we were told. Love the baby's breath in the pitcher. What a difference the art you added to the corner shelf is making, WOW! Oh. I just caught a glimpse of the washboard on the floor😍 Since you asked for an opinion, I would love to see one of your pieces of art. on that top shelf of your hutch! I really love the gingham. I keep seeing a garden spot where your baskets are, adding some jars of potting soil and see plants? lastly the little spot on the sink where your brush and soap are would look pretty on an antique tray or plate or even a fatter basket or dough bowl. So happy for you to have such a great laundry space! New Subscriber😊💕🌷
I vote for the gingham curtain. And how about the clothespin jar up in the empty space in your hutch? On the counter, put a small book or books in its place with your wooden bowl on top. Your laundry room is perfection.
Hey there! This space is adorable!! I think maybe think through some zones in this space. So a kitchen zone might be good for coffee and toaster and cups on a stand maybe and a basket for pastries or fruit. Then I think a laundry zone that is in a convenient place for your access. Then a spot or zone for other cleaning supplies. Then yes plants. A plant in that grey crock would be adorable whether real or faux. I also think sheer gauzy or linen fabric would be beautiful for your lower spaces and then open them like a window and put large basket storage items inside to peek out. I think you get the softness from the fabric and the warmth and texture from the baskets. Just trying to help. I am no expert. And you always make thing’s beautiful so go for it!
On the hutch, put white plates, trays or art work standup up. It should have a plate groove. If not, put a thumbtack in the shelve to hold the plate. If needs some variation in the background. Of course greenery is a must. Such a nice space in your home. Your husband did a great job too. Love your videos❤
❤ The new pictures are great. They remind me of your beautiful paintings. You second guess yourself a lot. Don't, the end results are always your style and perfect.
I love your decor style and your whole home is inspirational! Suggestion... make the wooden hutch a "laundry area" and move the glass jars over to the hutch, have the counter space as a kitchenette area with maybe a minifridge in one of the open spaces below. Love the idea of pastries in the basket for guests! Try to seperate the two areas as another viewer suggested. Absolutely beautiful and cozy basement space, you guys have done an exceptional job!
The gingham is lovely. Do it in the other two spaces. You could even leave the sink space open. So gorgeous. A tray with the tea, coffee, sugar, jug, glasses, water, biscuits etc paraphernalia could work on your counter.
Really nice. I would add some lind of basket wastebasket under the cabinet. Maybe something baskets that's tall. Try putting the glass mugs on the hutch across from the other glass. Stack the mugs 2 to 3 together Great laundry /ktchen area !
It’s beautiful! I would use the gingham under all of it for spring/summer. I’d also use some wood similar to the hutch on the shelves by the window; the glass disappears into the wall. Just a couple ideas- and more plants, as you said. Love it!
beautiful! I would put all laundry items on hutch. All small appliances and kitchen items gathered on counter and shelf above. Gingham material looks nice.
LOVE this laundry area! With all your thrifting, the decor will be ever changing so don't stress about getting anything perfect right now. You can never have too many baskets! A drop of your favorite essential oil works wonderfully with the dryer balls! I'm definitely team green gingham - so charming! Could make curtains on a tension rod for the window across the room, too. (how great are those deep window sills!!) Or even cover a lampshade for a mini lamp on your hutch - and maybe line a basket or two. With the boys in the basement so much you might want to consider a larger fridge than for just an occasional guest. A diffuser to keep the area smelling fresh and welcoming might be a nice add as well. So lovely, so charming...so YOU! 👏 ~~MaryAnn🤗
Love the gingham, but also like the idea of letting the brick show. Hmmm… what about a large basket lined with the gingham, hanging over the edge? You could even find a basket with a lid if you wanted to hide what’s inside.
I love❤the gingham material, a little bit of structure in the pattern but softness in the colour and the fold of the fabric, I think it brings lot of warmth into your laundry room Andrea
So beautiful. What a useful and lovely space! I like the idea of a small cabinet for the kitchen items, then they could be brought out when guests are visiting.
Love the sink treatment. Love your new space. Love the dresser! Keep the gingham. Use a taller lamp perhaps. Place the warm wood bowl on the counter and move the pottery one to the dresser. The coffee pot is an espresso maker. 💝💝💝
I do think that adding more plants in the baskets will look pretty. Maybe add one of the prints you got in between the two baskets on the middle hutch shelf?
Love this space, it turned out so beautiful!! You mentioned about it being dual purpose laundry/kitchenette. An idea to think about it, in my opinion, I would take the hutch and designate that for kitchen like decor, group all like things together…the toaster & coffee mugs and such decor pieces…and leave the rest of the space for your laundry decor, just a thought.
Love the space! Leaving the openings under the counter and sink give the space dimension which for the eye is so important because it is a small space. Maybe put a wooden or metal bar stool under the left opening and some open shelving in the corner alcove? I agree with another poster how the under the sink space is too cute to cover up. Maybe put a shallow canvas rolling bin on casters to hold hand towels, etc. this allows the brick flooring to still show their loveliness.I just love what you and your husband have created!
I am already a fan of Temu. I got one order and was very pleased. My second order is delayed and , as promised, I have been notified that I was credited $5.00 to my order AS PROMISED and promptly as well.
Hi Andrea! Your husband, once again, has done a marvelous job on the carpentry, etc. The hutch you finished looks absolutely beautiful! I find when I'm decorating, I have to move things around a bit, then leave, then come back. Sometimes things just click right away and other times, it's a process! LOL But it is such a great space!
Hi Andrea, simply Beautiful. Kudos too to your hubby on his handy craftsmanship!! I actually like the the bottom of the sink open. All the detail and design. IDK I’d wanna show that off. Although I’m sure the curtain would be to help hide laundry products. But my vote is no curtain. 😊 Watching from Michigan…Kim
How exciting!! Thought, for the corner, if you have a large piece of pottery to ground that end would be so pretty. Love both fabrics, choose the one that feels fun. I agree, love Temu!! I also really like the prints you found. I ordered some of the "Tin pieces", which are quite nice. I love your channel!!❤
How sweet this space is! Wondering how the brick sink base works out because I think it may get in the way by the toes… but regardless it’s beautiful and creative.
I love the green gingham! It all looks so adorable! I think you will love it all once you finish it and your guests will love it also! A pretty place for you to do your laundry!....A perfect area for a little kitchenette for them. Pretty, private and inviting!.... I love watching your videos. You have such a sweet calm voice and just you are adorable! Thanks for all of your decorating ideas! ...And I cannot wait to check out TEMU!
Oh my word Andrea. I love love ❤️ love your laundry makeover and decor. Loving the textures, colours, baskets. Oh be still my heart 💜. You inspire me so much. I love ❤️ everything you do. ♥️♥️♥️ FYI. I love the green gingham. Amazing pop of colour that is so you, not too cutesy at all, just beautiful you❤️❤️❤️. I also love the idea of cascading plants above the sink. Beautiful idea that will bring the outdoor in with an amazing touch of colour in that space. Love ❤️ it. Well, what else can I say. You are amazing my dear. Just amazing. ❤️❤️ So grateful for you 🌺. Ps. It’s super hot 🔥 here in Australia 🇦🇺 right now and it is such a blessing seeing the cool snow shots in your previous videos. Oh my word ♥️ Huge hugs 🤗 my friend from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺. Keeping being YOU♥️
Oh how beautiful ! I always enjoy your vintage style. And please keep the gingham, it's perfect. The artwork is looking custom for your space too. Enjoy your basement, you deserve it.
Andrea, that laundry room is coming out really nice. I love the washboards & would consider putting them together as a grouping. Also, what you said about hanging greenery on the windowsill, great idea, it would provide color. I like the green gingham pattern - gorgeous. I like the baskets on the windowsill instead of the counter top. Maybe change the toaster to the opposite side & the laundry items to that corner. One corner being for kitchen items & the other with laundry items. Just ideas! I like the hangers a lot - so unique, however, not to fond of the one hanging over the windowsill. You will get everything figure out & looking great soon- I know. Add more greenery & you can always put baskets on top of the curio.
Your space is beautiful! Why not use that little “hamper” as a trash bin for like lint, etc. It would need a liner. The white coffee think is used on the stove to make espresso. Love the gingham! More greenery will warm up the space. You could put one of those prints on the top shelf of the hutch.
Beautiful work Angela! I like the gingham fabric underneath the other counters but I think you can leave that sink area open I love the tile under it and it shows off the legs and other details. The fabric in this area would pull focus. Yiu could keep a basket of work towels under the sink or cleaning supplies and cover the top of the basket with a pretty piece of white fabric. Something neutral so as to not pull too much focus.. As far as the pipes, you may consider faux painting them brass.
Love the laundry room area now it's going to be so functional. Try a tray where you had your toaster to put things on. Please put ll your chemicals out of reach f the boys. You will make it all beautiful.
Omg !!! I would say I have laundry to do even if I don't have any to do 😂😂. It is beautiful, I love your new laundry room/ kitchen area in your basement. Perfect ❤ I do like the green curtains, I also love the blue. You could do one for spring and one for summer. God bless and stay safe 🙏 ❤️
Hello Andrea! Your laundry room looks absolutely beautiful! Personally, I would move the cleaning products to a higher level because the boys can reach the bleach and other products. The dishcloths on the top shelf I would roll and put in one of those gorgeous baskets. I'm with you....put that amazing toaster upstairs in your kitchen to enjoy! How often are you going to have guests? Enjoy it! You could even hang you coffee mugs or some of them on your pegs. I love the green checked material! It would be so pretty to take that green check material and pleat the shade on that lamp. Maybe put the lamp on a riser or some books for height. Good luck as there's so much you can do in that amazing laundry room! Tell your husband he has definitely outdone himself and should hold his head high! 🙏🤍🤗
You will pull it all together, you always do 😁
Aww thank you so much!! I appreciate the helpful suggestions! 😀
I think the gingham fabric would finish of your vintage inspired look.
Also I’m totally in love with the mini wash board
Ditto on the tray!

I love how open the space under the sink and cabinets, maybe a large basket?
Love what you did with the space. I'll put a tray underneath the glass bottle to prevent any spilling spot on the wood. And I won't put any fabric under your sink. The stone is so beautiful you have to let it open, or maybe a big basket. Thanks for sharing your house with us
Great ideas, thank you!! 🤗
I love it!
You have such a gift to make things so lovely and beautiful. I love how thoughtfully you decorate.
Aww you're so sweet, thank you!! 😊
Thank you so much! Great suggestions!! 😀
I agree! Don't hide the beautiful brick floor. A collection of crocks would be cute under the sink. I saw one vlogger paint her white plumbing dark to mimic the look of old pipes. Turned out great!
I agree with Laurie. Don’t cover it.
I like under the sink area left alone but if going with curtain I’d go with the gingham. More plants would look nice too. It will come together. Don’t rush it. Leave something fun to search for. You will know the right item when you see it on the hunt. It looks beautiful now though.
Personally, I would put the kitchenette on the hutch and use other space for laundry and folding area. I like the gingham.
Love the green gingham fabric for under the sink....its classic. Basement beautiful and functional. You're very talented thank you for your videos
I would put the coffee pot and the cups on the window sill above the toaster to separate the laundry from the kitchen.
..I would put my Borax near the appliance for quik use...
Thank you so much for the feedback, I appreciate it! 😀
I agree Sue the curtain takes away from the pretty wood detail under the sink
Your husband is a self taught contractor. Did you know that when you married him? Its very rare the way he installs tile and remodeled that old basement.
Yes take the curtain away, it hides the beautiful legs of the sink and tiles .
Hugs
I like the green check material. I would find a tiny flower print in the same green color for the other 2 openings. Beautiful job!!

I’m always stopping to add comments as I watch too so I don’t forget! 😂 Or I take note as watching to add comments on multiple things.
A light tan linen look material under the cabinets for curtains and a large wicker basket in natural color under the sink and no curtain.
You could always make a valance with blue material over gingham or make a runner for hutch. Beautiful home
Green one is the one I like. I do like how you decorated it
LOVE this space!
I vote for the gingham fabric - it’s adorable! My daughter suggested using it to also make a small, pleated shade for your lamp . 😊
So not a scary basement anymore.🤗
You may have received more opinions than you asked for.😏
Im thinking the pins in the glass on the top shelf, glass bottles top shelf also, mugs hanging from hooks, linen napkins in the baskets with long handles hanging also❤
Love the gingham check for the sink skirt.
I instantly thought Swedish ivy would be gorgeous hanging down from that window I love your ideas It's absolutely beautiful
I agree with another viewer. I would make the space as a kitchen area for guests and yourself, when you are in the basement. Maybe decorate closer to the washer and dryer, for the laundry decor.
I love the brick under the sink. A large basket would look great under there. Also, plants styled along with your decor would look great !
The small laundry basket can serve as a lint collector trash thingy.
Your laundry room is beautiful. I like the open space below your sink without curtains and your window is begging for plants. Thank you for sharing your home with us
What a lovely laundry space!!! Maybe consider keeping the laundry supplies on the hutch and focus on baskets and kitchenette items with the baskets, toaster, French press and mugs on the wall with the window wells…
I love this delightful new space!!!

Everything you do is so perfect. I like the gingham. Put some plants in those baskets in the window. What a laundry room. Great.
I'm voting for the sage green gingham ... that is my favorite color, but I would have leaned toward that even if it weren't my favorite color!!
I love your laundry 🧺 space your truly blessed. I enjoy your videos as I like the green. Enjoy your weekend
Stack the mugs 2 to 3 together
Great laundry /ktchen area !
It’s beautiful! I would use the gingham under all of it for spring/summer. I’d also use some wood similar to the hutch on the shelves by the window; the glass disappears into the wall. Just a couple ideas- and more plants, as you said. Love it!
Love your space! I see below counter a spot for a tall wicker basket and lid it will warm up the area 😊
Some plants and baskets next to that lamp would be great. Maybe using the blue material on the shade?
Love this area, you have both done a great job. It is coming together beautifully. I love the green gingham check fabric, it's perfect. TFS
Things are turning out beautifully. How about a white tray to corral the items by the sink? A small pair of small garden scissors hanging from a peg?
Love this space, it turned out so beautiful!! You mentioned about it being dual purpose laundry/kitchenette. An idea to think about it, in my opinion, I would take the hutch and designate that for kitchen like decor, group all like things together…the toaster & coffee mugs and such decor pieces…and leave the rest of the space for your laundry decor, just a thought.

Everything looks so charming! I love the blue fabric for below the sink
Love the green gingham curtains. The laundry room is beautiful.

Watching from Michigan…Kim
I love the gingham for the curtain. The whole space is so pretty.
One of those bell shaped baskets in the window would make a nice shade for your small lamp. Room looks great.
Oh my word Andrea. I love love ❤️ love your laundry makeover and decor. Loving the textures, colours, baskets. Oh be still my heart 💜. You inspire me so much. I love ❤️ everything you do. ♥️♥️♥️
FYI.
So grateful for you 🌺.
Ps. It’s super hot 🔥 here in Australia 🇦🇺 right now and it is such a blessing seeing the cool snow shots in your previous videos. Oh my word ♥️
Huge hugs 🤗 my friend from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺.
Great ideas, thank you so much!! 🤗
I love! The decor design and yes do need flowing greenery in your baskets. and the gingham green is awesome!!!! Just love your hutch too! Great job!!
Omg !!! I would say I have laundry to do even if I don't have any to do 😂😂.
It is beautiful, I love your new laundry room/ kitchen area in your basement.
Perfect ❤
I do like the green curtains, I also love the blue. You could do one for spring and one for summer.
God bless and stay safe 🙏 ❤️
I would put the old iron on a top shelf standing on end...I love this space
