Very helpful and informative video, especially now that the 128gb version of the Ultra Flair is selling for around $15
The best and cheap USB 3.0 stick that I ever brought (32GB for 15$) was the Kingston DTR 3.0 G2. It has a constant write speed of around 70MB/s(for big files of course) and around 100MB/s read.
It also has a LED activity and its shell its full rubberized.
After around 7 years it works like new.
They dont do USB stick like this one anymore.

Just what I needed. Sadly I didn't find it earlier. I just bought sandisk ultra just like at the third model.
The read speed is 150MBps.
And the write speed is jumping up and down between 15 to 26MBps.

I highly recommend the Sandisc Ultra Trek USB3.0 64gb..
It writes large movie files at around 30mb and reads around 145mb,
But the best part is: The casing has rubber material.. So if you drop it, it survives..
The usb drive is also very small and because of the cap you can transport it easily..
I recommend the Sandisk Extreme Pro CZ880. The best there is. Faster Reading and Writing.

What I read was... the ultra flair has a heating problem..
I needed one to boot a truenas os.. this will be a problem then

A normal portable Hard Disc would be a better option..
Even from a slow 5200rpm HD to a slow 5200rpm external HD (both 2,5inchm i have tested it) you can write large movie files with 120mb/second and save those people...
Unlike Flashdisk, External HDD is so fragile. Better to use it for archieve purpose rather than transfer file media.
@Creative Softz r u very sure my good frnd that while laptop is on charging on plug all the time and while at the same this time if I insert my that steel metalic pendrive into my laptop usb port while charging on in plug it would not get or caught me current into my any body part or in on my hands fingers etc .

Strange results, I just bought a SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 flash drive and my speed test shows 133 MB/s read and 72 MB/s write (the write speed goes down to 34 MB/s if you copy large files, but never goes down to 10 MB/s). Furthermore, supposedly the Ultra and Ultra Flair are the same device internally and should show roughly the same results.

The benchmarking has speed written in small Mbps. It should actually MBps.

You must live in a techologically deprived market because the Ultra Flair is nowhere near the fastest flash drive I have, quite the opposite it is one of my slowest USB3 flash drives because it tends to overhead and slows down by the time you've written much more than 1GB to it. Reads, it does not overheat as easily but still tops out around 140MB/s while I have others that do double that.
Ultra Flair is particularly bad for small files, not even 1/10th as fast as my Sandisk Extreme Pro flash drive. Heck, I have 10 year old USB2 flash drives that are as fast as the Ultra Flair at writes 2GB or larger because they don't overheat and slow down.
My Ultra Flair is the 128GB capacity and does start out writing near 50MB/s but then as mentioned above, gets hot and drops below 15MB/s for large sequential writes and well below 1MB/s for small non-sequential.
what's the best 256gb usb around the ultra flair's price range then?
Best comparably priced 256GB USB flash drives are the Samsung Bar Plus and the Kingston DataTraveler Max. Both are capable of over 100 MB/s sustained writes for large files.
The Kingston DataTraveler Max is the faster of the two.
Literally 5 seconds of searching... fastest USB Flash Drive by far and expectedly very expensive: Sandisk Extreme Pro
Thanks for your comment! Sandisk Extreme Pro was originally an SSD drive but they made a flash drive version of it. I might test one of those soon and see how fast it really is.
How about the Ultra luxe?
I believe it's exact same speed as the Ultra Flair
AFAIK, all of their small metal bodied USB3 flash drives use the same puck/sled integrated controller and memory, which is literally small enough that it fits in the bottom half of the USB connector with the rest of the space in the Ultra Flair or Luxe, being useless except to better grip it or mount on a key ring or lanyard. I had hopes that the longer metal shell of the Ultra Flair would help keep it cool enough running but it still overheats and slows down.

I just bought the 1 TB version. I just don't know how to put files into it all it shows me is a file that says EFI this is bull crap
Be better buying 1tb t3 or t5 drive 20 times faster
