I think caching is playing a little role here. Windows tends to hold recently copied files in memory so when you're copying a file back from USB to PC, the file may actually be being copied from cached memory and not from the USB itself.

I am planning to buy it today, would you recommend buying this after 2 months of this video release, as my need if 64 gb with movies running on tv usb port and basic storage purpose.
I would not recommend this as a continuously plugged in drive as it gets really hot sometimes.
you can go with the amazon basics 128gb version
Amazon basics has good speed. or the kingston datatravellor, kingston write speed is slow but read speed is good so you will not have any trouble running movies on your tv.

Thanks man. One thing though. If you are considering to buy this pendrive then you should know that it heats up a little more than other pendrives in the market.
for the viewers: on the back of the pack there is a sticker with a product code. do take a photo and keep it safely for using it to get a replacement cause this pendrive may fail and get a write protected trouble.
I found a flash drive like this written on the front cover (recycled material)
Is it considered original?

i'm confused about your real world results
i've OMEN i-7, 11 gen
all ports are 3.0
when i tranfser a file writing speed goes upto 58Mbps then fluctuates between 11 to 20 Mbps
could you help me out whats the issue ?

Hello , i have the same flash as you and also made in malaysia , but i bought another 128GB flash but it made in China , is this fake? although i test the speed and it was the same . and the same physical appearance .
i would only bother about the flash drive being fake if, It did not have the same capacity as written on the packaging and if it did not perform as the one you already had.
I don't think it being made in china makes a difference.

yes, it heats up quite a bit more.
so, if you keep your pendrive plugged in for a long time then it will head up a lot.
But, for quick transfer of files this pendrive is very fast and because you are not keeping it pluggedin all the time it will not heat up as well.
