Thanks for the review, Teoh! 🙏🏼 I just purchased the 1TB version of the *SanDisk Extreme Pro* ($109.99 at AMZN 🤑) because I need a *Big & Beefy* flash drive that I can plug directly into my computer's motherboard (an ASRock Z690 Taichi), and I think this one will do the job _and_ look great. Thanks again! 👍🏼
I've purchased two of these for professional dj setup, the older USB style is perfect for that reason and probability and no cables ensure it doesn't come unplugged by getting bumped. I will be formatting to fat32 and storing music exported from recordbox for use in the pioneer DJX-XZ standalone DJ controller
I wanna get this for the exact same reason. With the thumbdrive I have my xdj-xz has crashed if I have more than 2000 tracks. Do you know what the limit is for this one?
Heads up. Had a proboem with rekordbox with these. If i ever exported to 2 usbs at the same time, the files would be extremely fragmented and it would take ages for the CDJs to read the usb.
If it's your first time using it, you should reformat it into the proper format, e.g. FAT32, NTSC, Apple formats. If you can see the drive but cannot transfer files, it's probably a permissions or format issue.
The T7 is more expensive than the ssd flash in singapore. I can get the 512gb ssd flash drive for $100 from tech stores that sell it. The T7 500gb is $170 retail
Thank you for such an in-depth review on this sandisk drive; personally I am disappointed in it. I buy 2 drives; This one that you show here, and another sandisk only half of the price, and although the Extreme pro is a little faster, not by much. To copy the same video file from both the Extreme 3.2 and the SanDisk Ultra Luxe USB 3.1... to my linux desktop.... Extreme = 40mb/s and the Ultra 28mb/s. Thats fine, but when you pay $140 AU for the Extreme and only $59 AU for the Ultra, you gotta ask is it worth more than double the price. Neither got hot for me.
Something else is slowing down the transfer. Either the target disk, or you're using USB2 port or hub, or USB2 extension able or something. These USB drives are FAST.

Can you review realme pad X for drawing?
It seems to require some kind of set up before you can use it. I think it's a write protection. I couldn't figure out how to do it. Do you know how?

I got the SanDisk Extreme PRO 1TB USB 3.2 Solid State Flash Drive (#SDCZ880-1T00-A46) for $104.00 USD on eBay. Just throwing it out there guys!!! 😎😎
Thank you. Finally i'll buy Samsung T7
For the price I think external ssd will be double or triple the speed.
True. But this has no cable
im curious how long the 3.2 usb will last
Sandisk flash chips last long , i had a Transcend Jetflash 500, it had sandisk chip and lasted 11 years.

I am using a direct 3.1 usb slot in an Acer Swift 3 laptop 8gb Ram and Linux XFCE OS. I guess its because I dont have usb 3.2 port on my box.
I have stopped buying these SSD thumb drives, they have all died after a while, they are not as durable as M.2 SSDs. Too risky to be worth it
Which one did you buy?
@@teohontech7141 I bought 2 Sandisk extreme and, the most expensive, one Corsair Voyager GTX. All dead after 1-2 years
Sandisk has lifetime warranty. Just replace it
