I've been a criminal defense attorney for 44 years. Worked out of Chicago for the first twenty and the El Paso, TX for the past 24 years. I've represented defendants in almost every state in the US. I go back to the Miami Vice days starting in 1979. I've handled thousands of drug and money laundering cases. One of the best kept secrets about drug dealing in the US is how many people have bootstrapped their way into the middle class by drug dealing and then quit. I know at least a hundred people that have financed their education or start up business with drug profits.
His guest is absolutely right about the structure needed in the cartels. Chicago is having the same problems with their gangs because all the OGs were arrested and the new generation doesn't care about the old ways. I remember reading an article about a Mexican army leader who was approached by the cartels and he said he was threatened with himself and his family being hurt or they offered him insane amounts of money every month to look the other way when their cargo came through the checkpoint he was in charge of
The amount of charisma this guy has is crazy, he knows how to make you feel like you’re chatting with a bud over beers while he tells you about how cartels work and his crazy prison stories lmao
Yeah, his channel popped off from the jump. It was a couple of Shorts from the first & 2nd episodes, where this charismatic storyteller drops some really interesting bits, and it was off to the races. His ability to be engaging, combined with stories about drugs, drug dealing, and jail, and he gained a lot of subscribers right away. The production value of the first few eps were good, and got better with each new episode. I’m assuming that once he started making money from his channel, he & whoever he was working with could upgrade cameras, and editing/production, as well. It was a genius version of using the TH-cam platform, it’s rules & protocols, and topics that are already really popular among people that have switched from watching cable tv (all big corporate media & content providers), to getting their content online, via TH-cam, Reddit, Hulu/Netflix, and through social media (which also funnels viewer traffic to TH-cam). Wasn’t surprised to see Johnny pop up on Flagrant 2, and with the two clips I’ve watched from that ep, it looks like they had a great time interviewing & talking with him.

@@soriba391what like keep 10k handy for the federal strike team that's raiding you ? 😅
Hard to believe he spent 80k and they didn't front him the same amount he bought. On top of that, he's name dropping people during the interview and being too specific so I'm sure he's snitched on people before. The cartel wouldn't work with someone like this. A lot his stories are just not believable.
He didn’t even go to jail for one full day.
Facts, I always got fronted the same amount I paid for
I think Johnny's back on the stuff
Being a Mexican and listening to all of this breaks my heart. we have sufferd for years, civilians are NOT safe we have to addapt to Cartels rules, whatever business you have no matter what, they expect a %. Hard working people getting kidnap just so the cartel can finance their war against other cartels. Inocent girls/woman disapearing, being raped by the second. There is no mexican goverment, there is only Cartel goverment. All that being said, Mexicans LOVE our country, we will laugh, live and get the best of our days because thats something we can have. stay strong my Mexico...
Damn dude that's sad, i've been Mexico and loved it. Wild this is what is happening behind the scenes however..
@@jordanunknown5128this isn't behind the scenes at all, I'm in Canada and I've been aware of cartels running mexico for as long as I remember. I think if you asked anyone about the cartels they'd be aware
Shit sucks my dad got kidnapped when I was 11 was in Mexico on his way to texas and i guess alongs those roads he ran into some people and just gone never heard of him again since 11 im 22 now so its been a min but till this day i dont know if my dads dead or alive
Cartels run Mexico because they have the money. They have the money because Americans love their drugs.
You're full of shit, i never been bother by any cartel and i have bussines in michoacan and baja California, stop watching the narcos series.
When i was in the USMC in that lat 90s we went with the DEA into the los Angeles national forest. And we found one it wasn't much. We went in the next locked and loaded, and everything was gone. Obviously they were watching us that day.
HA!
I am glued to my screen listening to this man’s story 🤯
Great pod. More guests like this 😂
Dude was a drug dealer for sure he has a legit sense of humor
🤣 here's the thing though, he was NEVER drug dealer, he never went to prison and this whole story is 100% fiction because he made it all up

He’s up to date on the Reddit post
Is there a full version of this one?
Dude watched Narcos Mexico and is talking about the seedless buds 😂. That was well before his time.
Also seedless had absolutely nothing to do with the Mexicans either 😂
Mitch is spitting that Dylan 🔥 🔥 🔥.. one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen on TH-cam.. the depths of sh*t that he’s seen and how “matter of fact” he is gives me chills..

Look for a old magazine, National Geographic with the tile EL CARTEL DE LA DEA. Is exactly the conversation you guys have.
I might jsut drop out of school this shit sound exciting!

His stories are fake

I bet you shut the refrigerator with your hip
😂💯
imagine putting the Clintons up there as an example and not knowing what their law firm did in Arkansas lol
And just an FYI the three letter agencies need a way to make money that's off the government books, so it's not accessible to the general public. All federal funding is public record, not the smuggling game tho.

If they aren’t losing money
It’s nothing of importance to anyone

You can tell Andrew grew up sheltered af. How you didn’t even have a single friend who moved weight or ended up in the pen??
That’s what I was thinking, he’s so amused by it, for some of us this is regular life
Some of us are aware of what's going on but choose the quality of our friends better. Has nothing to with "sheltered". Weak excuses by weak minds.
I know this dude is lying about how deep he was in by the price he was paying for quantity. $2000 a pound? 😂 He was the mark.
I was paying $500 around the same time but it was in Arizona and I was getting $1600 and doing 30 a week
He said in another interview it cost him 5k to meet the connect. Now it's 10k, it's stupid how the story changes.
this dude is full of 💩 but in the late 90's early 00's I was paying $600-1000 for regs, decent skunk 100+ pounds and per $. Typically 300-400 a month and 3000 for this hydo I use to get but I'm on the east coast and the hydro was literally the best smoke I've ever come across to this day.
