1:20:12 - As a medically retired combat veteran, I can absolutely confirm this is true. I never believed I would live long enough to watch our country fall from grace to the extent that it has. Despite the fact that at one time I was proud to have served and even bled for this country, I would never again (If presented with the opportunity) put that uniform on for the sake of the delusional politicians and the administration that currently resides over the US. I had brothers die for a country I no-longer recognize.

you're kidding right? fake or not this man definitely gave legit middle of the road answers. anyone who wants to work in the agency is always going to speak highly of it after but address internal issues with the government because most of the time thats WHY people applied. that's any government position. there is always bureaucracy. everyone acts like it's black and white. good or bad. pro or anti. but that goes against the entire reason why some of our people are awesome. because change happens from within. 😂

I struggle with this as well to be honest. If you have ever held anything above a secret, I think you would understand more. People leaking secrets and calling themselves whistleblowers are clearly traitors. People leaking things that are clearly illegal and have attempted to go through alternative channels, I get. Blasting it online causes damage to people who may not even be party to the activity. There is a definite need for people to come forward when things are wrong. There are options for that that do not include getting the Epstein treatment.
Journalism is a completely separate topic. Julian Assange, from my point of view, did nothing wrong. He did what any journalist or news agency in the world would have done. His informants, however, are absolutely guilty. Chelsea Manning grabbed anything (they?) could to have 15 minutes of fame. That is not whistle blowing. That is leaking classified information with no remorse for fallout.

Just before I got out of Marines Corps, March of 2000, I had a full bird colonel pull a few of us aside that had to re-up in coming 6 months and tell us flat serious “Make no mistake, if you re-up be ready to be boots on the ground by Jan 2001. Can’t tell you how or where, but it’s 100%. So make sure you Re up for the right reasons. Next 4 years will be hard ones.” No BS and 100% true. He knew it was coming. He was dead serious. I asked him - why tell us this. He said “because I want to make sure the guys next to me are the right ones. Period. Do with that information what you must.” They knew. I knew. Not the details - but it made perfect sense. Bush had just started his term. It had to happen fast, so he could control it long enough to help Halliburton.

When you watch a really good podcast, the flow of the conversation isn't like listening to two people talk normally. In a normal conversation, it's totally normal to do this because it shows you are actively listening. When it's done on a podcast, it's abrasive to the flow of the pod - it's hard to explain but it's something that you can simply 'feel' when it happens. No one said it better than Shane Gillis who coined the 'Schulz Epiphanies'

I’ve been thinking this for years. Their should be a tv program a channel dedicated to giving advice or speaking on the real issues, challenges, current news in government, etc. This would really get rid of a lot of conspiracy against the government and lead to more transparency. Possibly even more control and manipulation which wouldn’t be favorable yet there’s always a risk of this possibility too.
