@@jenniesmythe8188 I think you’re totally right. People are so used to seeing unhealthy people that they immediately guess someone younger for health and fitness. A woman 45-55 should still look in her prime or just past it . It’s just that our unhealthy diet, sun exposure etc, cause so often pre mature aging. But her fitness and character are amazing. I think she looks good and healthy for the age she’s at. Just how it should be.
This is how people should be aging. Sadly, most people do not eat right, or even exercise. So many American's are overweight and lazy about their health. Taking a lot of perscription meds really breaks down the body faster. I am 72 and not on one medication. I am flexible also.
I’m a 69 year old yoga and Pilates instructor and she is right on. Keep moving. An object in motion stays in motion. Yoga practiced religiously will enhance your quality of life, energize you, keep your immune system chugging away and lift your mood and vibration. Yoga can be practiced well into your later years and unlike other sports activities, it won’t take its toll on your body, it will strengthen it, literally down to your core. Namaste. 🙏
This is so encouraging, thank you. I’m 54 and very out of shape and down about it. This woman inspired me to try yoga. You ladies are great role models!

She is sooo beautiful, her skin even her body is awesome! I'm in my late 60's I gave up yoga some time ago, but she has given me hope to try it again, I'm starting today......Thanks Janice!
I’m 54 and I do gentle yoga and the Tibetan rites every morning, walk, do knee, shoulder, and back exercises. I also do strengthening exercises, protect my joints, eat simple balanced meals, stay connected with people I love, and make myself happy. I have to do a lot more health maintenance now than when I was younger and it’s very very time consuming. Most important thing to staying healthy as we age is both mental and physical. And also, do everything in moderation or you’ll ruin your joints the way I’ve seen people do if they are weightlifters or runners. And remember, stay flexible, strengthen your muscles, and protect your joints!
Oh my gosh, I forgot all about the Tibetan Rites! But earlier tonight I did one out of nowhere because I suddenly just felt like it. And now here I am reading your comment! I'm taking it as a sign to do the Tibetan Rites again. I like the idea of doing it every morning. Thank you for your comment--it makes me feel very calm and strong reading it.
