I've heard a little bit about this. It is wild and sickening that he only spent a few months on jail for what he did to that child, still able to have a career around children, and is offered help with clearing his name when he committed the crime.

I had a friend who moved to Hollywood for about 8 years. She was the girlfriend of the father of one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood who I will not name. She said Roman Polanski, who was sitting opposite of her on a sofa, at a party lunged across the room at her for no reason and tried to choke her. He didn't even know her. He wrapped his hands around her throat, squeezed hard and wouldn't let go. Several men at the party had to pry him off of her. She said he had been staring directly at her for a long time just before he attacked and it was making her very nervous. He obviously gets urges and impulses and doesn't controll them. She should have pressed charges but she just left. That man is EVIL!!!

They absolutely could, but I always felt that even if the federal government really did feel this man should be brought back to face justice, if no support is giving by the EU, you may have an issue. As disgusting as Roman was, it seems he was very self-aware & honest with himself and others (at least at that time of that interview). I can’t respect his choices to lay with underaged women, but I can respect his honesty & knowing himself & why he might be who he is (short traumatized Jewish man, insecurity within that, thus huge ego when women (especially young) show any interest in him); this, plus his upbringing helped create the monster he had become… trauma, like most people have (but very few have to that extent), really shaped his way of seeing himself within the world. He, unfortunately, chose to play into the dark side of himself rather than the better. Very unfortunate & sad. He could’ve left Hollywood with just a rep for a great career instead of a rep for pedophilia on top of that😢… & sick Hollyweird definitely encouraged this, which I’m sure really heightened his ego & perceived self- worth… Ugh🤦🏽♀️
