I’m an older millennial. So I grewup watching the commercials that ran night in day about donating money to this poor country and that poor country. My dad raised me to ask questions when things doesn’t make sense. I asked if everyone in the United States or even half the people are donating to these charities on these commercials. Why are they still asking for money I mean shouldn’t they have raised more than enough money by now…especially since these commercials have been running my entire life 😳🤔💭 I was shutdown with no real answers and watched grownups in the USA who were also struggling themselves to feed their families donate money to these charities. I met an Indian girl who was adopted from one of those mother theresa orphanages by an American family. That girl talked about how she was essentially sold and experienced constant SAing at the hands of her family. She finally got away and had a child from that situation. I can attest as a 1st hand witness that I was working for a huge 500 fortune company as a Jr manager at that time scheduled to collect money for the 2010 earthquakes. I collected over $25k in less than 2hrs during a few day collection marathon. Millions were collected and barely any went to Haiti. My sisters and I used to bring clothes and toiletries for the homeless to these nuns in Fl., I always thought, why is it that they don’t have at least one washing machine, but they told us Mother Theresa didn’t allow them because part of these nuns sacrifice, was to wash everything BY HAND! I mean, we are talking about hundreds maybe of towels, etc., because these homeless people would shower and change in their facility, so absurd, unjust for these hard working women!
I've always thought the belief that sacrifice makes one stronger is unfounded. If those nuns were able to use a washing machine it would've saved them so much time. Time they could've invested in further helping people. Was it just me, or did anyone else kinda chuckle when the narrator said "we're all intellectuals" and "we're all literate" um not true....

I had heard about Toussaint Louverture, Dessalines, & his other companions & was very interested in seeing this country. As I ventured into the communities of Port-au-Prince I was shocked at the poverty I had seen at that time. There are no words for the beyond disgraceful scenes that I witnessed & experienced. Thanks for telling who are the modern day contributors of Haiti's deplorable & sickening conditions. I was not aware that Mother Teresa was one of these key contributors.

He was taken to one of "her" warehouses it took his family a week to find him after the shop keeper told them who took him away. they finally found him and rescued him back from that fraud! he was one of the few survivors of this frake nun , and what was done to those who were "saved" by "her" was like what Joseph mengala would do, deprive his victims of the basics of life while doing psychological experiments on them. inflicting pain and torment as well as not treating any injuries they had. and inflicting trauma based mind control on them, by saying what "she" used to say that the pai they suffered was Jesus kissing them1 what blasphemy an evil just like what Mengala was into! In a Traditional Roman Catholic Church, a person is allowed medical assistance in regards to comfort measures. My husband left me after 33 years for another woman. I was told that despite the lawful divorce that I was in fact still married and was expected to conduct myself as a married person. It broke my heart but years later I came around to see it was a correct way. Now I offer my pain and sorrow for the conversion of sinners. This is the more noble way to earn my way to Heaven. As to Sister Theresa, as a nurse I cannot judge her care for the poor. Just follow the money.

I have heard first hand experiences from young volunteers from France, who chose community service in Mother T's community in lieu of military service. They said the care centers did not even have ample painkillers and even when patients needed emergency care...they were never taken to a hospital for appropriate treatment. Nuns attending to the dying, routeinly baptized them, which was not a conscious choice of the patient. I hope others will dig into where funds went and how they were actually used. Funny story. I stayed in a home for homeless pregnant women in Brooklyn, NY run by these nuns and met her successor. The place was terrible. They called us all kinds of names and told they were better than us. They fed us spoiled food and fed themselves the fresh food. 🤔

I'm afraid I agree - I read an article quite some time ago - written by a Nun who was from one of the Orders which was in touch with Mother Teresa. And there was aother article about Mother Teresa in that same magazine - written by Judith Hayes. - I found the article that was in the magazine I subscribed all those years ago, called "Free Inquiry", Winter Issue/ 1997/ 1998!!! (Who would have thought that me keeping those two articles from that magazine would come in usefully!) In that particular Issue it told of Mother Teresa's practices and attitudes - - One article in that Issue states, "She preached relentlessly against birth control even as she was surrounded by starving children", saying it was unnatural. Yet, she had a pacemaker implanted in 1989, and had surgery to unblock an artery in 1993, in some of Paris' most costly hospitals. In the other article, this Nun, Susan Shields was a Sister in the Missionaries of Charities, and was in positions in Rome, the Bronx, and San Francisco. She witnessed Sisters, and many, many other volunteers who sacrificed their services for free, although, the sizaeable donations rolled in - $50,000, and more, which sat unused in bank accounts.

I remembered reading a story given by a nun of MTs order who recounted how there was a 15 year old boy in one of these MT homes for the dying, who had a simple Kidney infection. Years ago, one of my favorite preachers who was nationally known, was asked if he thought Mother Teresa was saved. He was severely criticized for saying if she knew Jesus Christ as savior she was. Seems she may have looked at the pope for her salvation.
She looked to her own good works for salvation. In Roman Catholic doctrine (Council of Trent, Vatican 1 and 2, etc), it clearly states that good works are necessary for salvation, not faith alone. The Bible says the opposite.

My dad raised me to ask questions when things doesn’t make sense.
I asked if everyone in the United States or even half the people are donating to these charities on these commercials. Why are they still asking for money I mean shouldn’t they have raised more than enough money by now…especially since these commercials have been running my entire life 😳🤔💭
I was shutdown with no real answers and watched grownups in the USA who were also struggling themselves to feed their families donate money to these charities.
That’s why I would rather give the money directly to the person in need than to a charity.

That girl talked about how she was essentially sold and experienced constant SAing at the hands of her family. She finally got away and had a child from that situation. Don't know how she is doing now. My prayers are with her. She had alot of work to do to heal. These folks use charity to soul harvesting, trafficking financial gains, rituals, etc. It's sad.😢

My sisters and I used to bring clothes and toiletries for the homeless to these nuns in Fl., I always thought, why is it that they don’t have at least one washing machine, but they told us Mother Theresa didn’t allow them because part of these nuns sacrifice, was to wash everything BY HAND! I mean, we are talking about hundreds maybe of towels, etc., because these homeless people would shower and change in their facility, so absurd, unjust for these hard working women!
I've always thought the belief that sacrifice makes one stronger is unfounded. If those nuns were able to use a washing machine it would've saved them so much time. Time they could've invested in further helping people. Was it just me, or did anyone else kinda chuckle when the narrator said "we're all intellectuals" and "we're all literate" um not true....

Donate directly to missionaries that you know and trust, there are many that are in churches, that report regularly, exactly what they are doing, and exactly how they are spending the donations. They are usually always a part of the church and the fellowship, there are many doing good work God's Work, hands n feet.

Yes, it is a perfect example of the white saviour complex, I live in Australia and a lot of people do volunteer work abroad but don't help people in their home community. They view people from other cultures who do things differently as victims and volunteer to make themselves feel good. If they really cared they would give the people they help the tools they need to help themselves instead they don't to keep the cycle of people needing help. Thanks so much for this information on Mother Teresa & her relation with Haiti. I visited Haiti in 1978 when I was a college student at Howard University. I had heard about Toussaint Louverture, Dessalines, & his other companions & was very interested in seeing this country. As I ventured into the communities of Port-au-Prince I was shocked at the poverty I had seen at that time. There are no words for the beyond disgraceful scenes that I witnessed & experienced. Thanks for telling who are the modern day contributors of Haiti's deplorable & sickening conditions. I was not aware that Mother Teresa was one of these key contributors.

In a Traditional Roman Catholic Church, a person is allowed medical assistance in regards to comfort measures. My husband left me after 33 years for another woman. I was told that despite the lawful divorce that I was in fact still married and was expected to conduct myself as a married person. It broke my heart but years later I came around to see it was a correct way. Now I offer my pain and sorrow for the conversion of sinners.
This is the more noble way to earn my way to Heaven. As to Sister Theresa, as a nurse I cannot judge her care for the poor. Just follow the money.

I got the full story about Mother Teresa when I was in law enforcement school. We would have to do these tests that would challenge our ethics and morals. a former nun was talking on the radio about ten years ago describing working for Mother Teresa. She said The holy mother was mean and nasty and made life for the nuns unpleasant. I had never heard a bad word about the Holy Mother before this. I have no reason to believe the nun was not sincere.

I have heard first hand experiences from young volunteers from France, who chose community service in Mother T's community in lieu of military service. They said the care centers did not even have ample painkillers and even when patients needed emergency care...they were never taken to a hospital for appropriate treatment.
Nuns attending to the dying, routeinly baptized them, which was not a conscious choice of the patient. I hope others will dig into where funds went and how they were actually used. Thank you finally, for this highlight.

Funny story. I stayed in a home for homeless pregnant women in Brooklyn, NY run by these nuns and met her successor. The place was terrible. They called us all kinds of names and told they were better than us. They fed us spoiled food and fed themselves the fresh food. 🤔

I'm afraid I agree - I read an article quite some time ago - written by a Nun who was from one of the Orders which was in touch with Mother Teresa. And there was aother article about Mother Teresa in that same magazine - written by Judith Hayes.
- I found the article that was in the magazine I subscribed all those years ago, called "Free Inquiry", Winter Issue/ 1997/ 1998!!! (Who would have thought that me keeping those two articles from that magazine would come in usefully!) In that particular Issue it told of Mother Teresa's practices and attitudes - -
One article in that Issue states, "She preached relentlessly against birth control even as she was surrounded by starving children", saying it was unnatural. Yet, she had a pacemaker implanted in 1989, and had surgery to unblock an artery in 1993, in some of Paris' most costly hospitals.
In the other article, this Nun, Susan Shields was a Sister in the Missionaries of Charities, and was in positions in Rome, the Bronx, and San Francisco. She witnessed Sisters, and many, many other volunteers who sacrificed their services for free, although, the sizaeable donations rolled in - $50,000, and more, which sat unused in bank accounts.

I remembered reading a story given by a nun of MTs order who recounted how there was a 15 year old boy in one of these MT homes for the dying, who had a simple Kidney infection. They all knew it, but those with access to money REFUSED to release the funds to byy to antibiotic, which even in that city at that time were readily available at the pharmacies. This poor boy suffered A TOTALLY PREVENTABLE and PROTRACTED AGONIZING DEATH because of the SADISTIC MT policy of suffering is godly.

I just realized, Mr Beast didn't spend millions in the African countries he visited but there was significant change in the environment. Just shows that you don't need much to make a place look better. Give these people better clothes, better food , medicine, renovate the living quarters etc. I'm Nigerian and I've seen what a small amount of money can do but I'm seeing the millions of dollars she got and 😮😮😮 I'm confused, at that time even 10k dollars was a lot. She may have had a funeral fit for a king, but when she passed on, her death was overshadowed by the passing of Lady Diana. God's way of showing and saying, "no one wants to mourn you, Teresa.'

Years ago, one of my favorite preachers who was nationally known, was asked if he thought Mother Teresa was saved. He was severely criticized for saying if she knew Jesus Christ as savior she was.
Seems she may have looked at the pope for her salvation.
She looked to her own good works for salvation. In Roman Catholic doctrine (Council of Trent, Vatican 1 and 2, etc), it clearly states that good works are necessary for salvation, not faith alone. The Bible says the opposite.
Wherever Vatican is present, disaster follows.
