Lark Voorhies & Maya Campbell used to be the “IT” girls for me ❤❤❤ they are so beautiful and were amazing actresses - I used to think they were so perfect - it’s so sad to find out how they struggled with mental disorders! I want to blame Hollywood and industry politics/culture so bad 😢 and the medication may or may not make matters worse but then again her diagnosis could very well explain how she was able to fully embody each and every role she had - that’s a lot on your mental, taking a character, evolving into that character, having to act out emotions over and over on film - on top of growing up in Hollywood seems like a lot to handle! Kudos to the people who have made it out unscathed but much love to all those who weren’t so lucky ❤

I loved her growing up. Her character in Saved by the Bell was supposed to be a caucasian, blonde girl. I'm so glad they chose her for the role. She brought so much to show especially for young, black women. She was honestly the cutest even though the show revolved around Zack and Kelly for many seasons.

The narration was a mess. It almost seemed like she is afraid of edits, has trouble reading a script, or just winged the whole story. I get that these are amateur storytellers on TH-cam, but there are plenty of creators who do a great job. If I was not interested in Lark's story, I would have turned it off. This is definitely a case of one and done for me with this creator.
Lisa was so hot on saved by the bell. In the early years kelly was the beauty but as years passed, lisa blossomed into the prettiest one. Her style was unmatched.

Lark was literally one of the reasons why I watched Saved by the Bell and of course Zack (Mark) lol. She went through alot but based on her IG right now, she seems to be doing WAYYY better now physically and working on a project. But may she continue to be strengthen and moving forward in her life. There needs to be a way Hollywood or some quiet celebrities come together to form a union to protect children stars and even those who have been abuse by the industry.

They were so impressed with her, she was hired. She was always my favorite. Definitely an IT girl of the times. She looks exactly like my sister in law.❤

When I say Lark Voorhies and Saved By the Bell were my childhood, I mean it. I was born in 88, and this show was what I watched every morning before school (reruns) and every Saturday morning for new episodes. I watched them go from middle school to high school to working at the beach over the summer to when they went to college. I always saw myself in Lark and loved the integrity of all the characters she played. She didn't mind her characters making mistakes if they learned something, but she never did anything just for shock factor.
I was just telling my daughter this. Men have ruined some women emotionally that it causes them to have a mental breakdown. Between her mom and lack of father....the relationships and Hollywood did something to her. Tisha Campbell left away from Martin for a reason. But Hollywood breaks down certain ones that may have had a kinder spirit like Amanda Bynes, too.
Mario Lopez always was on MTV with his mom trying to play the good guy ,* I love my momma* trope but he really was a Jekyll and Hyde I could believe he didn't know how to approach Lark and may have forced her into an inappropriate or indecent corner . . I believe he was attracted to Lark but simultaneously was angry he was *turned on * by a BLK girl . I know girls who went through the same thing , she was sort of the 90s preference. Martin Lawrence did the same thing to Tisha Campbell, he had a penchant for certain exoticals who were high earning or had confidence from being in the industry. A clout chaser for want of a better word . He liked to be seen with non ambiguous bw and then mentally or verbally abuse them , taking down their self esteem and exposing their flaws .

I had the absolute crush on Lark Voorhies back in da day especially watching her on Saved By The Bell. so to me she was a really beautiful actress at that time. One thing i said about her at the time she took the time to write me back and sent me autographed pictures of herself. Then I was even a part of her fan club at the time which was unique. From looking at this video I wouldn't had thought that was shy and that at times didn't talked to her co-workers from Save By The Bell. It kinda reminded me about Jimmie Walker wouldn't talk to his co-workers from Good Times from what I heard say through the years and that he didn't get along with some of the cast there. I heard about the problems of her mental health and I felt bad for her because I've been going through mental health problems for years myself. From watching & hearing this video she was working with teens, others to deal, cope with mental health which is good to hear because I pray that she gets things under control in her life. My daughter has this Schizoaffective disorder,it's been a long road. But she's a wonderful young lady and she's learned to live with it I'm proud of her. It's rare so thank you for explaining what the disorder is so many never heard of it.
Yes, my daughter suffered from bipolar, she has since passed. I miss her so much & wish I could have dealt better with her situation. It was very difficult & very hard to accept. I knew very little about mental illness. But now I can see it could happen to anyone!

Lark Voorhies & Maya Campbell used to be the “IT” girls for me ❤❤❤ they are so beautiful and were amazing actresses - I used to think they were so perfect - it’s so sad to find out how they struggled with mental disorders! I want to blame Hollywood and industry politics/culture so bad 😢 and the medication may or may not make matters worse but then again her diagnosis could very well explain how she was able to fully embody each and every role she had - that’s a lot on your mental, taking a character, evolving into that character, having to act out emotions over and over on film - on top of growing up in Hollywood seems like a lot to handle! Kudos to the people who have made it out unscathed but much love to all those who weren’t so lucky ❤

She brought so much to show especially for young, black women. She was honestly the cutest even though the show revolved around Zack and Kelly for many seasons.

She went through alot but based on her IG right now, she seems to be doing WAYYY better now physically and working on a project. But may she continue to be strengthen and moving forward in her life. When I say Lark Voorhies and Saved By the Bell were my childhood, I mean it. I was born in 88, and this show was what I watched every morning before school (reruns) and every Saturday morning for new episodes. I watched them go from middle school to high school to working at the beach over the summer to when they went to college. I always saw myself in Lark and loved the integrity of all the characters she played. She didn't mind her characters making mistakes if they learned something, but she never did anything just for shock factor.

I had the absolute crush on Lark Voorhies back in da day especially watching her on Saved By The Bell. so to me she was a really beautiful actress at that time. One thing i said about her at the time she took the time to write me back and sent me autographed pictures of herself. Then I was even a part of her fan club at the time which was unique. From looking at this video I wouldn't had thought that was shy and that at times didn't talked to her co-workers from Save By The Bell. It kinda reminded me about Jimmie Walker wouldn't talk to his co-workers from Good Times from what I heard say through the years and that he didn't get along with some of the cast there. I heard about the problems of her mental health and I felt bad for her because I've been going through mental health problems for years myself. From watching & hearing this video she was working with teens, others to deal, cope with mental health which is good to hear because I pray that she gets things under control in her life. One of the reasons I only mainly watched, the original Saved By The Bell. During early morning when I would be getting ready for school, was for the gorgeously, stunning, & fabulous Lark.💜 So heartbreaking, how she struggled and her challenges with severe mental health. 😔💔😔 If not darkness she suffered and endured also. I hope that things continue to get better for her. May Dustin Diamond, also continuously rest in peace.🥀
