I did it while it was the arm section by accident and was like “hold up.” And kept it out so it couldn’t despawn, Not knowing that it lets link oneshot it anyways. I then tried that on null themselves while sleeping the millisecond I took any form of damage
Just beat the game this morning, decided to see what tricks exist so watch this. You play the start, then skip to the end and beat the boss with the first enemy, and that's fantastic lol
~Starter~ 0:12 Start 3:49 Cloak 15:54 Escape (twice) ~Main dish~ 20:54 Suthorn Ruins (ends) -> 21:08 After you obtain the new power, you can Skip the entire Dungeon 1. That's why you are the World Record. 24:51 Wrong warp (ends) 28:26 Enter Null 34:35 End -You require 6 minutes to fight Null. Null is disappointed to me because I feel boring while I fight it.
Hi! Are you wanting to learn how to speedrun? It can be a bit tricky at first, but it's very worth it. A lot of speedruns, mainly for popular speedrun games, will have some sort of guide. They may have a few different ones too depending on different routing and how easy/hard the glitches and movement is in the route. Linkus7 has a pretty decent guide if youre interested. The first step is to simply complete a speedrun route. Dont try to be fast (unless needed for a trick), just learn the glitches and movements until you start feeling more comfortable. You're gonna die a lot during this portion. Just try this a few more times until you get more comfortable with it. Normally, my second recommendation would be saving and reloading tricks that are particularly difficult, but you cant save in Null's domain (the hardest part of this challenge). Just be super careful and use pause buffering (pausing frame by frame to make sure youre moving how youre supposed to, or to catch a frame perfect trick) to make sure youre in the exact right spot. It's not a race yet, it's a learning experience. Now, just practice. Dont beat yourself up over mistakes. Even in world records, there's bound to be a mistake or three. It's simply an optimization for next run! The main goal behind speedrunning (other than completing a game as quickly as possible) is to have fun! That's why there are multiple ways to speedrun most games! A good trick people will recommend is to watch recordings of your own speedruns to see where youre struggling to save time. Good luck and have fun!
It is 100% a joke. There's a common joke that goes, "What if Zelda was a girl?" Idk if the initial question was real or not, but they're playing into that joke
Hey, no worries. Everyone starts somewhere. What the speedrunner did is called a "wrong warp". It's a common glitch in speedruns. Video games will have a specific location for specific areas where the game will put you if you do something weird and the game doesnt really understand where you are. Ima call these areas safe spots. The speedrunner climbing super high and reading the post sign gave him a moment to open the map. I believe what's happening is that, since they warped away (via the ceiling barrier or the fog in the forbidden forest. They both warp you) with the map open, the map "saved" that they were warping, (this is where I'm generally less sure, but it should be along the similar lines), and gets confused where the map is supposed to put Zelda since there are two zones she's supposed to load in. I believe the reason that Zelda gets warped to Null's domain is because of how close the Forbidden Forest is to Null's domain, and Null's domain being a "safe spot" to put Zelda (mentioned earlier), so the game sends her there. Again, I'm not positive if this is *exactly* what's happening in Echoes of Wisdom, but with my wrong warp understanding in other speedruns, this should be relatively close.
I'm surprised with how well Link's CPU is compared to all other allies.
He's spot on with his spin attack. A speedrunner just like Zelda lol
GGs!
I’m so embarrassed haha. I didn’t think to grab Nulls arms with tri!

Same, but tbh the echoes I had were already damaging him so I didn't think I even needed to make it easier lol
I grabbed an arm or two, but couldn't get the arm(s) in the back, so i just let loose with heavy Echoes lol
Same omg! 🤦♂️

Insane! GG
there should be more comments, echoes of wisdom speedrunning is great
I feel the amount of cutscenes and the lack of complexity in the route make it less fun to run or watch.
that is crazy impressive!
Zelda doesn’t even need the sleep dojo to train anymore, Zelda can train from anywhere now.
Impressive !
What's the deal with the screen tears? Is it a dodgy capture cable? Seems like it's showing later game frames but I can't pause in time!
Not in like a "this seems suspicious" way, but more a "yo is ur switch okay?"
@@yung_ickle5694Cheap and old capture card, I’m looking to replace it as we speak lol
Great man! Do you practice the seperate parts of the game until you learned it perfectly and then put it together in the end to the complete run?

I can't believe you finally get to play as Link in a zZelda game!
I can't tell if this is a joke or not

Sub 34 is probably the absolute limit unless if someone discovers something major
this looks super TAS, but if it's not congrats to that WR, completely insane!
if this was a TAS then there would not be that many minor hickups
I saw him miss a couple of steps here and there, held onto a couple ladders a little too long, etc, definitely legit
