It has to be to get to the fire temple area 😂 some of that platforming is hard not even including thinking best way to get up those mountains inside the mountains.
Jump and place a Biri (the jellyfish monster) in midair, then take a couple steps back and Bind yourself to it from the ground. Next, spawn a wind-cannon between yourself and the Biri. Now just pick up the cannon and reverse the Bind and bam, you get fast midair movement at a perfectly flat angle so you don't have to worry about hitting the height limit. You can even stop moving by simply pointing the cannon away from the Biri, and if you keep it pointed away long enough, the Biri will slowly move in reverse back towards Zelda, allowing you to be precise with where you drop. The only thing it can't do is turn in midair, but neither can the Bird + Meat trick.
One thing I CONSTANTLY forget about is the bind and follow option. I build crap more than going the easy route simply because I forget it's an option 😂
The whole point of the game, even in the commercial, is that their isn't a wrong way to play. No one should ever think they're playing wrong, especially because of youtube.
For the Holmill point. Some might crystals are hidden in the ground and you need the Holmill to dig it up. Also, while the intended method of getting some heart pieces is to use the Holmill, one of them you can actually get without it. The one that is blocked by two boulders can be claimed by using Bind on the left boulder from as far away as possible and moving towards it. Then do that again to move it a bit further. Then you can get the other boulder and leave yourself enough room to get through and get the Heart Piece. For the drowning water block trick, that works on a lot of enemies, but for others it is a bit tricky as they may try to hit the water block. It may end up easier to just send out something like a Darknut or Sword Moblin in those instances. Bind can still be very useful as a way to make it easier for your echo to hit the enemy.
here's a strat I used in the dojo with all the flying enemies: use a redead and any sword moblin/knight type or other kinds of good offensive echo. Swordmode works too the redead's scream will knock enemies out of the air and make it easier for you to hit them Dribbits also can weaken fire enemies atleast outside of caves not sure if inside Respawning wizrobes is more effective than waiting for them to attack again
Early game Peahat, mid game Wolfos, rest of the game it's been Lynel. The other 7 would be Darknut, Bombfin, Water Cube, Bed, Wizzrobe, Chompfin & Skulltula.
10:00 If I had to guess, I’d say it is probably a glitch. What I DO think was intended was for you to be immune to the screams while completely still in the pot, as a form of shield for your ears. Not a great shield, but I guess good enough
9:55. Redeads are theorized to be animated clay, so that could be an explanation to why they act differently when you’re in a clay pot. I don’t know if this is canon, if you knew it, or if this is what you were looking for, but I might as well say it.
Interesting, with the tables/trampolines. I created two on top of each other. Than bound to the top one from a small distance and moved forward half a grid/block to create the offset. It is somewhat faster than the push animation and you don't have to walk around and position yourself correctly. For the speedrunners it might be interesting.
Pro tip: Create a water block, bind an enemy and drag it to the water block. Watch as they drown. The developers are aware of this and they programmed a lot of enemies to destroy the water blocks, but there is always a way to drown them
I have a special underwater buzzblob attack where i summon and keep resummoning buzzblobs underwater and they supercharge and hit the enemy before they drown and it has a good range as well because most if not all underwater monsters have no ranged abilities
Zelda goes from being the perennial non-playable damsel in distress in the series to being a lil' sadistic psycho once she becomes the player character.
When you gain access to spawning 2 platbooms at once and the accessory to increase your jump hight you can place one on top of the other when the first one is elevated then jump to the new one. Do this repeatedly to gain infinite hight, and pretty quickly too
Since it always falls all the way to the ground, you only need to be able to summon one and a table or trampoline to compensate for lacking the frog jump accessory. It also falls faster than Zelda, so with good reflexes, you can fall directly onto the 2nd platboom by letting it pass you on the way down.
Idk why flying tile was used as infinite height, when platboom is both cheaper and faster. Platboom's max height is based on its spawn height + a set amount. Just spawn another one at the highest elevation of the previous one. They'll still fall all the way to the floor, so it's no problem if you fall off and need to get back on. Flying tile can be used to quickly fly in a straight line if you time distance echo summoning really well with additional tiles to stay airborne. You can skip 80% of water temple with platboom and flying tile.
@@michaelclaybourn1335 they quickly lower the cost for platboom when you level up. Also, it doesn't matter if you can't have a second platboom simultaneously. As long as you resummon it at the highest point of the first platboom summon, then it will have increased max height.
