    You do know that if you just hold down the preset button til it turns solid that saves the change also

    Ive lost the 4 original presets do you knoe if they have been uploaded to the tonecloud ???

    • @sparkamptutorials2169
      @sparkamptutorials2169  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, they are all uploaded to the tone cloud. Just search for them 1-clean, 2-crunchy, etc. you will find them.

    How do I get a preset back if I lost it

  • @hvnnlyy
    @hvnnlyy ปีที่แล้ว

    If I've selected a preset from the tone cloud, do I need to have the dials on the amp turned all the way down?

    • @sparkamptutorials2169
      @sparkamptutorials2169  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, the preset settings will override the dials on the amp. However, If you turn the dial on the amp after you’ve selected the preset, it will change the dial in the app/preset.

    Love my Spark. Quick question, it seems like you are forced to play only one of the four presets (the one that is lit) unless you go into the menu and select on of the millions of other tones in the different categories. Is there a way to just play through only the Spark controls on the amp without playing one of the four presets?

    • @sparkamptutorials2169
      @sparkamptutorials2169  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Bob! Great question! The answer is that the Spark itself isn't really an "amp" exactly on it's own. It is basically a hardware emulation device. So you need to select the amps and effects from within the app to use them. The presets are just a factory default selection of 4 different configurations. If you don't use the app at all, another way to get a few more options is to scroll through the "amp selector" options, but even with that you are still starting with whichever preset selection you are currently using, that just changes the virtual amp. I hope this answers your question!

    Hi ive lost all 4 orignal presets is there anyway you could do a lesson on what all the orignal amps and settings where ???

    • @sparkamptutorials2169
      @sparkamptutorials2169  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Search on the tone cloud for them. They are all there. 1-clean, 2-crunchy, etc. or you can factory reset the amp, which only really resets the 4 preset channels.

    Thanks for your videos! question: what happens if I'm on a saved custom preset, and then move the knob, say from clean to glassy? do I get the "preset for glassy"? In other words, do I have the preset tones for Clean, Glassy, Crunch, Hi Gain and Metal PLUS 4 other tones of my choice? and can I select which tone is the preset for each one of the original voices (i.e. glassy)? Thanks!

    When you overwrite, say Ch1, on hardware, mine then overwrites every channel 1 on the selection Hi Gain /Bass /clean etc. Is this normal? Anyone know? Im trying to write 4 tones into the bass selection as I dont use this, but I dont think its possible without overwriting all the other selections!

    • @sparkamptutorials2169
      @sparkamptutorials2169  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The presets are somewhat independent of the amp selector knob. With the presets you can define every aspect of the signal chain, including effects, levels, etc. but if you change the amp knob, it will change the amp model only. All other effects remain as they were before you adjusted the knob. Does that make sense?

      @@sparkamptutorials2169 Thanks for the reply- I just wanted to write 4 bespoke downloaded settings to the bass channel that I dont use , so I could select them at gigs ( when they start up again ) and it copied them to every channel! I thought it would be possible to write 4 favourites to a selection ( Bass) and it wouldn't effect the others? But no! Im looking to mike up the amp to play live, it is so good. I've tried the headphone socket into the PA …..Thats producing so weird sounds! Im off to get a mike!!!

      @@brouillacblues hey Mick. It would be great if you could have 4 channels for each amp setting, but unfortunately you only get 4 total. Check this video out: th-cam.com/video/633rWx4eibM/w-d-xo.html

      @@sparkamptutorials2169 Thank you for the heads up. I thought that might be the case but I thought as the selector switch has 4 different setups for each position I might be able to do the same! Im sure 4 will be enough when I find my favourites! Im planning to mike it up for gigs. Tried direct connection using the headphone out straight into the PA but some weird sounds are created . Not good!
