I had to pause the video to download that tone!!! I just got this amp and it is really awesome, I don't know much about it yet and had no idea about the tone cloud. Thanks dude!!🤘🏼👊🏼🍻
For 300$ it doesn't sound bad!! Still, I'd go with a Focusrite and a quality plugin if I were about to play at home only. Impressive playing, I've noticed that you got way better compared to when I started watching you. Good one Jamie. Take care.
Hi! Is it loud enough? I'm still in doubt if is better a Katana MK2 50 or this one for Home fun. I fear this one could be too "Digital sounding " and not loud enough (I love to crank up sometimes :P). tnx
What would you recommond in terms of drums and bass for at home recording along with this amp and its awesome settings. Just got one and the smart jam is disappointing for writing metal songs 😭😭
Hi @Jamie how did you record the amp on the video? I tried Studio One which works ok with Spark 40 for acoustic sound but sounds so bad with metal presets.
HI you mention how the spark sounds different then the sound coming out from the pc. Im fairly new to all this, so excuse the stupid question, do you need to mic up the spark for it to sound good? The quality through the interface is awesome, by itself it was not that great.
I love my spark 40, but that being said i still prefer my peavey 6505mh and my pedalboard. I put my spark away as like a travel amp. The spark is great but nothing beats a high gain tube amp and real pedals. Great demo of the spark 40!
Oddly enough, you can download the amp match to that head, to the Spark, from the ToneCloud. It’s cool to have real thing, i get it… but you can have that tone when you travel as well. i’m loving my Pearl 40, it does all the things i need it to do. And it sounds great when re-amped through a bigger cab! Cheers man
Hi Jamie. What are your pre sets called if you have uploaded them on the cloud as I’ll check them out on my spark later.I really like your metal core and Metallica patches. Thanks
Got it, not the same game. But as a dad I needed something smaller and that would be quick to get a decent tone. I'm impressed by how easy it is. Later on I might try it on a cab.
Pls pls pls can you or anyone tell me where the sounds actually come out from when you are playing thru the interface and the computer..surely its not from your computers small sound hole or whatever it’s called..? Or is it via a connection between the computer and that black/yellow speaker in the background? Pls I need to know as I really liked the sound thru the interface 🙏🏼 Thank u for a nice video!
I'm not Jamie, but I just bought a Schecter KM7 MK II and it's the most sporty, quick neck I've played. Overall the guitar is killer. If you're in a market for a 7, look it up.
For 200 bones I got a Jackson dinky 7string 24 fret, then myself im a cheeky cunt( pickups costed more then the guitar) I put some Seymour Duncan black out mick Thompson in it. It's a killer guitar to use as a mod platform
Thanks... how do you loop and use other features of Spark... when I solo to my Looper pedal it really sucks as solo cuts out looped rhythm. It works slightly better with headphones and even better when I record with cakewalk and then use headphones. Anyways, what do you recommend. Also other detailed explanation videos with spark and it's many features would be appreciated. 😠
Hey, how’s it Brotha? I’m a bit baffled by this Amps Vol, Output & Gain knobs. I get confused as to which one I should use normally or not touch too much. What the hell is the point of two friggn volume knobs? Also, if I Am on a channel let’s say (Metallica) and I’m playing and I want to lower the volume, the volume drops drastically and I have to switch to another channel then switch back and it’ll be back to the set volume. I pretty certain that there is nothing wrong with my Spark. I’m just doing something wrong, I’m sure. Please help
You don’t have to use the app. The app just gives more options. The DT pedal lowers the signal going in. So anything you change will still be down tuned

This amp is SOOOOO much better now that they added an EQ. I found it extremely bass heavy before but now it’s perfect

Spark works best with noise gate set at 1.0 on both knobs, otherwise you lose all sustain in your pickups.
