  • In this video I breakdown the 5 effects pedal banks (not including the noise gate) and what the pedals sound like they are “inspired by”. Special thanks to the Spark Zone forum where a few people collaborated and put together the listing! Here is a link to that:

Hey, Andy, I somehow missed this one and I’m glad I noticed. I haven’t really thought much about which effects these are modeled on, but it’ll help to know when I get around to putting together those “famous tones” for a lot of cover songs. Most guitar players know which amps and effects their favorite guitar gods used to get certain tones, and knowing which ones Positive Grid was aiming for with these will probably save me a lot of time. Thanks, man!

James TheDoctor Duncan nice man!!! Good stuff! You never really know what will resonate with people, but I’m trying to cover as much as I can.

I’m sure that red delay pedal is based on the Boss delay. I have the Waza Craft DM-2w and it sounds very similar

Thank you for your tutorials, I am waiting on mine and trying to learn as much as possible before I get it. I don't think I've seen a video on the tuner anywhere . It might be interesting to quickly show us how it works and tell us about its accuracy.

Martin Cloutier that’s on my list! Maybe I’ll do that one today!!

Mine seems to tune slightly flat across all strings when compared to other tuners - I wonder if there’s any way to adjust it.

Rick Unold is this meant for the tuner video? I didn’t think to compare it to a stand-alone tuner, but maybe I’ll do that and compare. I don’t have a pedal, but I do have a small handheld chromatic.

No 2 on the delay's look's like the Marshall Echo Head.

Hey Andy, this one is a bit quiet too, well all videos are (compared to other videos on TH-cam). But never mind, it's not a big deal! I really appreciate your work and effort for the Spark community 🙌🎸🎶🤘 I don't take that for granted! Stay safe buddy \o/

Thanks Adriano! I haven't done much in the way of modifying the audio source of my videos, so now I know that I need to do that! Super helpful! This is my first TH-cam channel, so I'm still learning, but it's great to get comments like this!!!

    About the reverbs:
01 is probably based on the recording room at the famous RCA Studio A in Nashville (the RCA Victor logo on the building was also pink). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCA_Studio_A
02 is probably based on the echo chamber at Gold Star studios in Los Angeles (Phil Spector made that famous with his "wall of sound"). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_Star_Studios
    03 - no idea
    04 - no idea
    05 - no idea
06 - EMT 140 plate reverb unit (or UA Audio's emulation of that - similar graphic design).
07 - Electro Harmonix Holy Grail (spring reverb pedal)
    08 - no idea
09 - maybe RCA Studio B in Nashville? The control room window design on the logo might be a hint at the real ones there? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RCA_Studio_B

Are there any pitch wham effects that resembles Drop Pedal, to change to a different tuning say, E Flat, D Flat?

Are we able to change what order the pedals are in?
