CVT is near meant to be in a drag race in the first place. It is built for fuel economy. CVT will break down a lot faster if u force or abuse it. For pure performance and fun manual is the only way to go.
Agreed bro, still people push the car in D mode for drag and thats really bad for the transmission, atleast if they decide to do it better put it in L and run it like manual.
@@Tiggo8protips bro CVT has no gears and it has infinite gear ratios. So not point of these paddle shifters or L mode. They are all gimmicks as far a CVT is concerned.
Bro Cars equipped with the CVT system come with an L (Low Mode) in which the transmission does not upshift. What it does, instead, is maintain a lower speed ratio to offer more power and torque which makes driving uphill or drag easier. There’s a sure benefit. Dragging merely in D is harmful hence why this video is made for education purpose.
