She cheated on Yadriel and had the nerve to get mad at him for seeing someone else. She did so many things in prison which added another 10 year to her sentence and blames everyone around her. Even when she would do the group therapy she's not accountable I don't think that she or will ever change
U know when she was playing gang baddie and branded piper, she cried about more time on her sentence and was doing drug dealing which would give her more time

Out of all the characters on OITNB, I have to say that I hated Maria Ruiz the most. She is the classic product of the millennial and z generations. She does nothing wrong, always plays the victim and thinks that she is better than everyone else. The thing that I truly hated in this series was that Taystee got the life sentence when it was Ruiz who truly deserved it because all the guards that she held and tortured and of course her always changing personalities.
