When Raptor said expect everything, A Japanese Maus with Hirohito riding into glory with his white horse as a driver while firing nukes instantly came into mind, I don't know why but...
Also why is the battlefield so quiet during the defense part, I mean it is an invasion after all shouldn't there be more infantry reinforcing. I know early preview I guess but I really hope these are changed or noticed.

Raptor, X-Day was if the Atomic bombs did go off but the Japanese surrender, It would also include millions of American and Japanese soldiers and would be ten times worse than D-Day. X-day was short for Extinction Day as it would mark the extinction of more than a million Americans and Japanese. Also X-Day documents never said anything about an Allied landing it was meant to stop the Russians for taking Japan. X-Day was supposed to be the worst battle in human history if it was ever enabled. There's your fun facts for the day Raptor!

When I did this mission I only had 2 Shermans,1 comet,2 Japanese tanks and around 90 troops left

Man, I am like a guerrilla and artillery general like if I can get 5 guys I am able to kill 200 but before I do that I like to get artillery to smash up all the defenses. If I get a ton of units and some artillery then I'll bombard them for like 15 minutes then move in.

When the US invaded Japanese soil, very few troops surrendered. It took not one but TWO nukes to make the nation itself surrender. I dont think the main island was ever invaded, but many leapfrog assaults like this one took place in the pacific theatre.

My dude, british armor wouldn't be in Japan, you'd be counting on the soviets, the US were actually planning with the Soviets to battle Japan, so allied assistance historically would be soviet.

I dont doubt it, but it historically was the Soviets and the US who planned to invade Japan, the British weren't involved in the plans

A little bit more about the actual history of the proposed invasion. The Japanese had correctly guessed where the Allies would have landed in 1946. Further, Japan had held in reserve over 3,000 front line fighter planes, as well as: submarines; ship ramming planes & torpedo type boats; several hundred thousand combat tested front line Soldiers; dug extensive tunnel networks; & had formed civilian suicide Battalions. Also, it's combat tested front line Soldiers were to be held in Reserve, to form hit & run Units. It was estimated (by the later examining of Allied & Japanese actual war plans) that by the end of the Allied invasion of Japan, that well over 1,000,000 Allied Soldiers would have been killed (untold more millions would have been WIA), & that of the whole Japanese population, only about 15% would have been left alive. The Japanese actually had plans drawn up whereby tots' kids, & children would have been wired with timer equipped explosives & then told to walk forward to Allied Soldiers (which after this tactic was known to the Allied Soldier, would have left the Allies with the moral dilemma of shooting every tot/child they came across... just in case the kid was equipped with a hidden bomb - sounds like something that happens today(?)). So, for anyone who was/is against the dropping of the Atomic Bombs on Japan, I would ask you to think what would have been worse... dropping the 2 bombs or invading Japan? And if you are still against the dropping of the 2 Atomic Bombs, I would further ask of you, "Did you have direct descendants fighting during WW II?" If you did, then they would probably have ended up participating in the invasion of Japan, & in all likely hood, you would not have been born. Thoughts?
The people who criticize the US for dropping those bombs only goal is to demonize the United States because they hate it and no amount of facts will change their mind.
