    Another issue: Getting it on straight. As a Michigan football fan, I considered buying some felt with the big block "M" logo on it, but luckily I realized just in time that it would be darned near impossible to get it on straight without the "M" either being not perfectly square to the sides/ends of the table, or the "M" would most likely have some waves/ripples in it and look terrible. Disaster averted (narrowly).

    I've got an even better a solution. Most professional and college teams sell a projector for your car door so when you open it it projected their image on the ground, Now instead of your car door install it above your pool table. Just a theory I haven't tried it yet

      If you try this, I'd like to see it.

    I'm sorry if you addressed this already, but I've had a little fun by covering my cushions a different color than the bed (laziness was involved...). Someday I might use 7 different colors on one table!

    I've been doing tables for 50 years and I fail to see the correlation between pool and football. Pool is pool!
    I've covered tables with the silkscreen images but would never recommend it.
    It bears no resemblance to actual cloth, but more like a bedsheet.

    My unit (Air Force) decided to put one on a Playcraft slate table. It looks nice but has worn out considerably. They should have stuck to green or just plain black (our unit colors). The cloth looks no better than t shirt materials.

    What about this because I can not find anything on it, is there a way to make designs on your pool table felt or to change it to a let's say cartoon drawling properly that won't stain my balls or effect the cloth in any ways?

      I, personally, wouldn't put anything on the play field. 1) it's distracting and 2) regardless of how you do it, it won't look good within a few months. There's friction between the balls and cloth that ALWAYS has an effect on dyes/stains/paint/ink that's used for printing. That friction (along with the natural oils and dirt on your hands) is going to wreak havoc on whatever design you go to put on there. Stick with a solid color for the bed cloth and do a different color for the rails if you want something different. You can also have the tops of the rail cloth embroidered if you really want something different. That's an option too!

    I’ve been debating on sublimation process. Have you heard of this?

    • @CreativeRestorations
      @CreativeRestorations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm unfamiliar with that process. But, if it involves applying ink or paint to cloth made specifically for pool tables, or if it's similar to the inkjet method, I wouldn't recommend it. Basically, the only way I know of that would hold up is if different color thread were actually woven into the cloth during manufacture. And, as far as I'm aware, no manufacturer is offering that.
      Just my two cents.

    how do i explain it to a custumer/client. one client wants a Michigan football team.

    • @CreativeRestorations
      @CreativeRestorations  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd tell them that you can get Championship "Gold" for the bed cloth and Navy Blue for the rails. That's Michigan's color scheme.

      Maybe blue bed with gold rails. I think that the blue bed may help with chalk hiding though. What do you think about that?

    • @CreativeRestorations

      I generally steer customers away from extremely light and extremely dark colors. Unfortunately, Michigan's colors fall on both ends of that spectrum. Either way would work.

    Does the installation process differ from a cloth with a logo on it vs one with out

    • @CreativeRestorations
      @CreativeRestorations  ปีที่แล้ว

      Somewhat. But, as I said in the video, I don't recommend printed cloth - EVER. So, I won't be showing how to install it.

    Kinda sounds like in football when they add too many logos. Kickers and recievers and slip and offensive linemen slide.
