As a person with a mild form of Cerebral Palsy, I know that feeling of wanting more and getting sick of hearing how I should be grateful for the life I'm able to have. Jack, I know this is heresy,...but have you ever considered a Kindle just for travel? I used to be a physical book only and I continue to buy physical books If they are that good, but since I got my Kindle I have been able to save so much space and its really easy to travel (I bought the Kindle Signature edition for reference; waterproof, 32gb of storage, nightlight options and warmlight for ease of reading) Just a thought!!

My experience when traveling Greece (from hotel to hotel) is that some lobbies have book swap cabinets. I usually take one or two books with me that I'm willing to part with for that fun experience.
I really liked "The unbearable lightness of being". For my vacation in Crete, Greece I am definitely going to bring "The island" by Victoria Hislop. :)

Hope you're doing fine there in Greece. You're about to read some books I really enjoyed. I truly appreciated the Nightbitch (the approach, the topic, the milestone it covers), and The Second Place was the book of a decade for me (at lest that is what I still think two years after reading it) - it even impacted how I write in my daily life. So, really can't wait for your reviews on those whenever they come 🤞

if you ever go to shetland or the south of France (or both, as you will want to after reading this book) I really highly recommend "The Sixteen Trees of the Somme" by Lars Mytting. A Norwegian author. The book is beautifully written and is probably my favorite book of all time! It will probably make you cry tho, but I know that's what you like!
This book has been on my shelf for such a long time, I almost forgot about it, but this comment definitely makes me want to pick it up soon!
derek jarman is my all time favourite artist and filmmaker but i had no idea he had written fiction… i need that book

He is a surface level, skindeep knock off, he copies other content creators and relies on reviews on goodreads to copy opinion, you cannot give opinion on a book if you dont read yet.
