My Brilliant Friend is so good! So amazing but the issue is that to really understand the full impact, you’re going to have to read all of them. If you don’t like reading series, you can read book 1 and stop, but if you want to read the series, you absolutely have to commit

Hey Jack. Hope you are well. I took this quiz and I got Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club ❤…..! Started “open water” after seeing your suggestion. I must say it’s an exceptional read. I am finding it very comforting and lyrical. It’s like there is no anxiety while I am reading it even at times when the narrator is struggling. I loved the subtlety. Thanks for your recommendations. Those align well with my choices 🫶🏻 Stay blessed and keep on finding new stories!

If I see a Reese sticker on the book then I automatically know it’s boring and would be a waste of my time. I’ve read sooo many of them to give the club another chance. I always finished them wondering how someone who has played such good and intriguing characters could pick books with such bland and boring ones.
Have you tried Seven Days in June? I really liked it, and I know Jack did as well. Looking at the full list, another one I liked was Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid, and she rarely misses with her YA picks.
