Getting a passport has become easier, I applied on 29th last month and I had my appointment yesterday. Waiting for 3 weeks to pass then I go to Kyambogo for picking my passport😊😊😊😅😅😅

Can you use a different recommender from the one on the form
It is very possible, I think. Call them and inform them about it. You will tell them you wanna change the recommender and why? I guess they will ask you to come with your preferred recommender's details and the R letter when you go for your appointment. For any recommendations, it is better to use a non-relative. That rec letter is trusted because officials assume there is no bias or lies in it.

It is always good to have your original ID. If you can have it, get it. If it is too late, go and see what they will say.

Hello Angella, you do not need passport photos because they take your pictures (with a computer camera) when you go inside for an interview. However, you can take two just in case. I went back home with mine. They never used it. To just be comfortable, have some with you.

If you are doing a renewal, go with your old passport.
I did my interview today and they gave mi a recieving slip but there is no stamp ,and i saw some other people with stamps on their slips ,am i safe orrrr i need to do interview again
From my understanding, you only need the INT number. That is all. I also didn't get a stamp and it worked out. Even if you call them (maybe after a month without a message that it's ready), they will ask for your INT number. So do not worry.

@@violahpiatsa That is very rectifiable (changeable). Send it to your friend or a boss. They read through it, confirm it and then sign it and give it to you.

You also take a copy of the ID (both sides) of the recommender. So do not forget it:) They will scan them and take soft copies. They will return your hard copies.
Bt I had put equity bank as the bank am to use ,can I change ad pay in dtb
@@mutesimwajuma9138 For paying, it doesn't matter dear. If you have cash, I am sure it can work. I use stanbic bank for work stuff, but for passport, I paid using DTB hahah. I just took cash with me.
@@mutesimwajuma9138 I do not think it has any problems dear. Try logging in again and see if you can edit the payment method. But it should be fine from my point of view though I have never used it before. For DTB, you pay 250K (passport fees) and 2300 extra as a service fee. I am not sure of charges with Equity and other banks. Maybe, the difference comes from there.
