One of the best video series I've seen in a LONG time. Both Android and iOS have their merits, but this really shows that Android is not behind, but leading.

Yes! But seeing as how I'm an artist, the Note along with the Spen and the huge screen attracts me more. Sketching on the go with that thing is gonna be magical. Can't wait for the Note 2.

I've also been an apple customer for the last 4 years and started using Android with the Galaxy S2 and now the Galaxy Nexus and it's a totally different experience and it's a lot more fun. I love the fact that I can take the battery out of my phone and put a spare battery when I'm on the go in case my battery dies, the ability to share things, and the great variety of free apps. The thing that bothered me the most was the screen size of the iPhone. You're gonna love the Galaxy S3.

Armando, thanks for this. I have been an Apple guy for a long time, and you have really opened up my eyes. I left Apple and am slowly making my way to opening up to Android. Hopefully I can learn a lot more from you. Thanks again.

Very good point. I use it (USB-OTG) all the time. I can carry 10 usb sticks of 64 gig, that's 640 gig of movies and music and play them in real time without having to import them to internal storage or sd-card. Just plug and play. I bought my USB-OTG on Amazon for just 1 dollar 30 and works very well. :)

Guys you don't have to be on one side or the other. You can use both apple and android. It's okay. I understand why people like both android and apple. What's important is finding what works for you. All companies in tech have done wonders, just in their own ways.

    It's organized differently yes.
On the mobile variant of Google Play Store you can't sort by date.
You can however sort by category, and see the most popular, rising etc app.
There's plenty of ways to still find what you're looking for.
And if you can't find it, just logon to the store on your computer then perform the searches as described by you and then have the app installed on your phone by clicking "Send to phone" on your computer.
    It's just different, not inferior.

I use Nova Launcher as well been using it for a year love it. Especially since I can backup my home screen layout and when I upgrade my phone all I have to do is setup my new device and after all my apps are installed setup Nova Launcher and restore my backup and bam back to my layout and it's so awesome.

I actually contacted Cerberus about it. And this was their response:
GPS is enabled when you send a "Start tracking" command, but that works only on some Android versions.
For WiFi, you have the "enablewifi" SMS command.

There's an app for automation called Tasker. You can disable airplane mode at timed intervals and/or conditions without the theif knowing. You can also "automate" location sending according to conditions. For example: Set time when you want it to check phone's status, set geofences where you usually stay. If your phone exits those geofences it can automatically disable airplane mode, send your phones location, take a video, all according to conditions you set.

Yea, but as I said in another post, the Note attracts me much more because I'm an artist. The Spen and the large screen are very ideal for sketching on the go. I also like how it bridges tablet and phone functionality...I feel like any other phone will just be a regular smartphone lol.

Hey, I'm an ex-iPhone user whose currently on the Windows OS and moving to Android shortly with the EVO 4g LTE.
I think the bigger argument used in Apple's favor by people I know isn't necessarily that it is "simpler" or "easier" since most of them realize that anything can be simple or easy when you get used to it, but rather that it just SEEMS to possess a better UI.
Quite simply, when run your finger across the screen to scroll in an iPhone, the screen sticks to your finger like a magnet.

At the time i bought my Htc Desire it was one of the best, and I'm not talking about speed or lags or anything like that. My personal reason for an iPhone, was the App Store, i can buy Apps without a Credit Card, i see on which iPhone/iPad the App works. In both App Stores is alot of crap, but i think there is much more crap in the Android Store. On my Desire i had widgets, but i never really used them. At the Moment I'm happy with the iPhone, but I think that both systems are really good.

  • @mav3rick29
    @mav3rick29 12 ปีที่แล้ว

That's because you are only viewing web components that iOS lets you. Let me clarify that. When you tap on M and click on "VIEW SERIES" it will bring you to the next page. On the next page you can only access the "overview" but try clicking on "Explore M3 Coupe" (and the others with a play icon), you wont be able to see it because it requires flash. Use your desktop browser to open it and see what I mean. The point is, with Android you don't have to install an app just to view a website.

ppl keep saying things about his custom kernel... He probably just flashed to the stock to for the video, & left the kernel. Who cares if he is rooted, everything he's demonstrated in this video is achievable without root. Root & custom rooms/kernels is just yet another strength that android offers anyhow.

I think you misunderstood, I don't have a problem with C or C++. I am merely pointing out that learning objectivce C (iOS programming language) is like learning how to walk again even if you know C or C++ already because objective C has it's own modular system. I don't prefer Java over C or C++, I'm merely pointing out that objective C is different.

Cerberus is indeed a very good app and works as advertised. In my experience, Android has been stable since Froyo, as long as you have high end devices. I rarely get device freeze on my Android. I also rarely get device freezes on my iPad especially after upgrading it to 5.0 but it happens. Check one of my videos regarding iPad freezing. Pls. don't comment on resetting, I know how to reset a device using physical buttons. Just showing what freezing on iPad looks like.

This is the most thorough camparison video about android that i have seen. Learn things about apps and features I didn't know and I have both an Nexus and an Itouch. By the way the only thing Flash is good for is porn. You should also show people that you can request the desk top version of a site rather then just the mobile.

Which is quiet annoying whereas on iOS its all in one place on settings much more organised. I coukd view whats ON/OFF all in one place less time consuming.

It doesn't change the fact that they can be tracked. I have a different tracking/security app called SeekDroid and it's very, and I mean VERY accurate. It was spot on when I looked on the map as to where the phone is.
As for Tablets, I would recommend the Asus Transformer Prime. It's pretty much a tablet/laptop and works really well. I have the first gen Transformer and have not had any issues with it.

Because the nexus is what an android phone should be, you haven't tried android till you tried vanilla android. I love both operating systems, and thats why i chose android as a phone and ios as just entertainment. I'm happy that i could do this because you get the flexibility from both, best of both worlds without bickering who's better.

There's a new app in the play store called themer now. It acts as a launcher bur you just download themes and activate them with one click. Some of the current themes are very nice indeed. Been trying it out on my HTC One for about a week now and the theme I'm using now (theme name is dashboard) is so much nicer than any launcher that I've ever used.
Best of all, it's free and so are the themes.

FINALLY someone explains to iOS people that the only reason it would appear that Android crashes more is because it actually tells you rather than just go back.
