Michael Wilson But the build quality is really good and the OS is far more efficient and 250$ android phones don't have aluminum chassis and good enough camera.
Apple is for people who want easy use, there aren't nearly as many crashes and bugs like on the PC or Windows or Android. Microsoft downgrades their software, while Apple is constantly improving. Maybe Apple didn't invent anything, but they take ideas that need improvement, and make them better.
+Juju jujuria that's dumb: marketing goons wouldn't be able to haphazardly slap this stuff together and make it work so well, Apple is absolutely a tech company...just so happens that they're also ace at marketing
+jacksonlefteye "Works so well" My first iPhone stopped working after a month. My second iPhone iDropped 3 inches off my table and it smashed instantly.
Greg Towers weird then that they've sold over 200 million of them this year alone so far...i don't think morons would have the patience for a product like this if it was as awful as you're trying to say it is...besides, you bought two, who's the real sucker here? i've bought 0 apple products literally my entire life but you can't honestly believe that they don't have some seriously talented engineers working there, do you? it's easy to look at a broken iphone and yell "THIS piece of SHIT!!!" and not see the years of exhausting work that goes into packing that much processing power into such a small package and making it work well all i'm saying is that to suggest they're just a super lucky marketing company tells me you know nothing about tech and the work that goes into it
jacksonlefteye The first one was faulty and the second one was my replacement. Either way its still a piece of shit considering that the screen cracked that easy.
Did Apple ever claim to have invented anything? They design their own products based on existing tech and they do it better than most people who do it. Innovation does not mean invention. It means direction and perfection in the right areas for the right markets. The term "invention" is too often mis-used.
But Apple themselves? I believe most people are assuming based on what Apple develop and create. "Invent" means different things depending on who you ask. I don't think everyone that uses the term uses it properly.
For example the cant "invent" a macbook, because its just another computer. They can "develop" a product which is a different kind of computer. Which is what they did. Same goes for the iPad, iPhone and most other things people claim they "invented". The closest I've ever heard them say is they have "reinvented" something. Meaning they have developed a new take on an existing product. And that is what they do best.
JohnReviewer112 Evidence? The only thing's I ever heard jobs say they invented was things they co-created, usually interfaces, like firewire, and magsafe connector (not magsafe itself), which is technically correct since they developed the technology (albeit with co-inventors). They have said to have RE-invented things, which is a matter of perspective. As for things like the iPad, they arguably did invent it, as it is a kind of tablet computer, a brand with specific proprietary hardware and OS. It's a product. Just like Sony invented a Playstation. What they didn't invent is the concept of a tablet computer, just as Sony didn't invent the games console. It's all semantics, and this stuff is used a lot in marketing, because it "isn't incorrect", even if it's not the technical truth. Apple are by no means the only company to step on that line of technical correctness.
Guys have you heard the new iMyAss iMac Pro Overpriced++ edition? I heard it's gonna be more powerful than a Chromebook for only $37,000! Apple, Stop overpricing your products.
Kian Palmer Size, weight, look, material finish, display quality, battery life, trackpad excellence and many more. If you combine all those in a non Apple computer, except the trackpad of course - there is no match out there -, you have to pay similar or higher prices. If you only focus on computational power specs, you will find cheaper alternatives of course, but many have learnt to look for more.
Indecisive Fella If you're talking about desktops, you can find very small towers, such as the Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX form factor. For weight, Macs are among the heaviest desktops due to the large amount of wasted aluminum. I mean, you have a couple hundred dollars worth of aluminum on the back of the computer and you don't even see it For looks, it's all personal preference. There are thousands of cases on the market for you to build your PC in. For display quality, you can find extremely detailed and high quality standalone monitors. Also, keep in mind that Apple does not manufacture any display whatsoever. Almost every screen in Apple products are made by Samsung, if not another brand. Battery life, that's because of Intel and what they have done to minimize power usage. Also, Yosemite, a.k.a. Unix, is designed to be a minimalist operating system that can be easily built on. So Apple didn't do anything in that regard Trackpad excellence. Apple does not manufacture parts. It is simply Apple asking another company to make something for them, and calling it their own. "You have to pay similar or higher prices" I have built a $3500 PC that outperforms a Mac Pro. I have proved this using CineBench and 3DMark Firestrike benchmarks. Clearly you have not done any research on the capabilities of a PC. Heck, even Apple's servers are built from PC components because nothing that Apple offers can handle the load. Also, having a PC tends to have a side effect of knowing how your computer works. Tell me, what are the 6 main components of a computer?
Kian Palmer • "If you're talking about desktops, you can find very small towers, such as the Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX form factor." - Yep, I have looked at those. Nice ones, but not my type. I have a Fractal R4 for my uses, since the µATX form factor and the one above are not offering boards, or haven't a year ago, with more than 16 GB of RAM, and 32 GB RAM is sometimes not even enough for me. • "For weight, Macs are among the heaviest desktops due to the large amount of wasted aluminum. I mean, you have a couple hundred dollars worth of aluminum on the back of the computer and you don't even see it" - Nope, that is simply untrue. The 27" iMac weighs less than 10 kg, the current Mac Pro weighs 5 kg. That is not heavy for that kind of power. My 27" Dell display weighs 5.6 kg, without any additional computer behind it. Yes, there are lightweight cases, offering less noise isolation and less heat radiation, the aluminium in the iMac's back is used for that too. • "For looks, it's all personal preference. There are thousands of cases on the market for you to build your PC in." - Yep, not that many good looking cases for my taste out there. • "For display quality, you can find extremely detailed and high quality standalone monitors. Also, keep in mind that Apple does not manufacture any display whatsoever. Almost every screen in Apple products are made by Samsung, if not another brand." - I know, I have one Dell U2713HM, and Apple also uses LG panels quite a lot. • "Battery life, that's because of Intel and what they have done to minimize power usage. Also, Yosemite, a.k.a. Unix, is designed to be a minimalist operating system that can be easily built on. So Apple didn't do anything in that regard" - Really, Apple did nothing? Good to know. • "Trackpad excellence. Apple does not manufacture parts. It is simply Apple asking another company to make something for them, and calling it their own." - And who does deliver the specs of the trackpad? Why does no one else use those specs? Who writes the drivers? In 2012 I testes several mid budget notebooks and their trackpads. They were worse, reaction, feel, size and capabilities, than the trackpad of my 2004 iBook, which I used for several years. And sadly Synaptics does not offer that good hardware and software. • ""You have to pay similar or higher prices" I have built a $3500 PC that outperforms a Mac Pro. I have proved this using CineBench and 3DMark Firestrike benchmarks. Clearly you have not done any research on the capabilities of a PC." - In other words, you do not, since you haven't told us what exact Mac Pro with what exact configuration you have beaten. And those benchmarks are not optimised for OpenCL, but I guess people using OpenCL software on the new Mac Pro do not mind those benchmarks that much, since they have earned the money buying a Mac Pro in the time someone else has researched the parts, ordered them and then assembled them and then installed the OS onto that thing. • "Heck, even Apple's servers are built from PC components because nothing that Apple offers can handle the load." - And? They have simply realised, that they are not yet ready for the server market. Wow, they are self conscious. • "Also, having a PC tends to have a side effect of knowing how your computer works. Tell me, what are the 6 main components of a computer?" - Yep, just like building your own bike or car or refrigerator or shower or whatever. And if you really wanna know the six main components of a computer: love, lust, lube - times two. PS: I have done my fair share of building computers, I do not need to prove to you my knowledge. And even if I did, how could you make sure, I did not look that up on ahem, Wiki or TH-cam?
Go over Apple's history for yourself. They took things that wouldn't have worked well and made them possible. Don't base things on an iPhone or something. I feel like we should better educate others about computer history. People are misinformed and judge things by how they are today.
When you buy an apple, you're buying a name. That's it. The prestige of the name, that's what your $2000 dollars for your mac is going towards: the name.
+Confused Fella I'm not agreeing completely with Chris' comment, but no: Just concerning the desktop hardware, you can get a lot MORE power on a Windows machine for the same price. And software related, there's an equal alternative to most of Apples applications. Except ProRes, Windows' alternative definetely can't hold up to that :/
MrMansionIV Only if you consider CPU and GPU power and ignore all the rest will you find cheaper hardware. If you consider the whole package with all of its features, equivalent alternatives cost around the same. And while ProRes is cool and that, DNxHD and CineForm can hold up to it quite well.
+Confused Fella Also thinking RAM, HDDs, peripherals and later upgrades. I like to modify my computer to my needs, while I don't wanna pay extra for design and features I don't need. So it really comes down to your personal preferences. Concerning ProRes: I use DNxHD/DNxHR and it's okay, but it's unfortunately not as effective concerning compression/quality. Also ProRes is more widely accepted than DNxHD/DNxHR. So that point goes to Apple. :D I never tried Cineform because in my experience not many people use it in an professional environment. Maybe one day, but right now I'll stick to Avid ;) PS: Found my comment again? I edited it to improve my grammar, so I guess that caused the problem? :D
MrMansionIV Regarding you comment, my bad. I just was confused with who posted what, since I am not getting used to this pre-1970s form of discussion threading. As to your needs, those are yours and not shared by the majority, and I say that as builder of two Hackintoshes for performance with Avid, Resolve, AE and so on. As to DNxHD, its wide usage probably depends on the area you work in, as in Europe Avid is more common at bigger companies and Premiere Pro (using either ProRes or CineForm) is used by smaller companies and individuals. I am an Avid and Premiere user and have gradually switched back to Premiere (began editing with Premiere before it went Pro, I think version 4.5 was my first one, but switched to Avid during university and a decade of work), since Premiere's codec variety is a dream compared to AMA (especially with multi-cam projects containing dozens, if not hundreds, of hours of video as relinking is a bitch). But then again, we are special cases and not general consumers who only dabble in amateur/home videos, thus they don't need an i7 3770K or 4790K and GTX 670 or 970 and can live perfectly fine with a slower CPU and slower GPU and still get work done while not being fucked by Windows (and Windows 10 is the best Windows since 2000 for me, my second Hackintosh is now a Windows 10 PC, albeit used only once a week). Anyway, nice to have a proper conversation and not getting accused of being a fanboy or insulted as retarded faggot. You bastard should know better. ;)
I wouldn't even call Apple a recipe company, since often times they're not even recombining ingredients. With a lot of their products, they just take someone else's obscure/struggling product, improve the aesthetics, give it a massive marketing budget, and bam, they sell millions of them.
Reuben Carr The iPad. Tablets were nothing new when the iPad came out, they had existed for decades. Microsoft even had a big push for their tablets that ran mobile Windows XP in the early 2000s, but due to a bunch of factors like high initial cost, and poor marketing, they never really took hold. A few years later costs had come down, but the tablet segment's poor initial sales mean most manufacturers weren't putting much effort into it. Apple then came in, looked at what other people were selling and applied their usual "simplify, improve aesthetics, mass marketing" strategy, and the iPad was born.
Connor Fin Explain how Mr. Apple fanboy. The only thing I can see is the useless sapphire glass that doesn't do anything. Oh and by the way, Samsung makes the processors for Iphones, so thanks to Samsung the apple is fast because of that samsung made CPU.
Ana Grujic that was before music was really in cellphones capabilities so in reality they just weren't there or needed unlike today's phones plus think Nokia and Motorola aren't really big players in cellphone market anymore I haven't seen a Nokia or Motorola in decades
The Oppo company couldn't even fit the headphone jack inside of their phones because it was too thin, Apple was just being dumb about the entire situation.
so basically they take stuff other people made, change 1 thing and put their name on it... LEGIT PLAGIARISM (would get a 0 in university, but they get money for that in life??)
Indecisive Fella you need to watch the video again, cuz thats what the facts say, but then apple fanboys might have just skipped the video and gone straight to hating or justifying results in comments to feel satisfied about buying what was claimed to be new, but did not live up to the standards. Also you say, "such extreme exaggerations get used to get a point across, especially lies." Of-course you do realize your own comment is extremely exaggerated ("especially lies"), and could apply to the same subject right? So you are legit trying to say that apple doesn't plagiarize and has been the first to show real innovation after watching this video?
pspppe Apple really took products others invented but they took it and used it in a way that made it available to the consumer which is not the first time companies have done that and it won't be the last time and plus the way the operate makes them more money
Try Hard Chincilla actually advertising makes them money, and dont really offer price for performance, they just claim loyalties by making people judge every book by its cover...
pspppe OMG their price to performance ratio??? what a joke enjoy paying $2,000 for a $900 computer and if you game? well enjoy pretty much nothing. everyday i look at my mac and think back to a time of ignorance about computers and a part of me dies every time. :'( $2,000 wasted
I never ever heard apple saying that they 'invented' something. They just use the term 'innovate'. Without apple, we would not have the types of smartphones we have nowadays. Our phones would have probably had a shitty touchscreen needing a stylus if Steve jobs did not implement the idea of putting a better touchscreen on phones. We would not have had portable computers as we know them now. Our tablets would still have been as bad as that Microsoft tablet invented way before the iPad if apple did not exist. Fingerprint technology would not have been implemented on our smartphones so soon either... Oh, Steve Jobs is the one who created colour video games and be thankful to apple, because without this company, we should have understood codes to be able to use a computer... They reinvented the computer operating system.
dude are you 10 years old or what ?? touch screens were used on the 80" on military equipment so if you dont know nothing about that please dont talk im still waiting the day apple offers me something orther brand cannot offer for less price please notice me when apple wil have a 41mpix camera on their smartphones nokia has that !! when the iphone will be able to send bluetooth files to other brand smartphones other than apple that is like slavery on free fucking choise , not being able to send a fucking photo to my other smartphone by bluetooth
1) Learn to read, I spoke about introducing touch screens on smartphones, not the invention of the touch screen. 2) Apple offers quality, and you don't quality for a small price. 3) You clearly do not know anything about photography. I won't write a long paragraph to explain about MegaPixels and picture quality. 4) I send music, pictures, documents using my iPhone. I can even send these files on old nokia phones. How? There is something called a jailbroken iPhone, the most powerful phone there can be.
***** He said" Our phones would have probably had a shitty touchscreen " He's talking about apple implementing great multi touch capable touch screens, that no one else was using at the time.
***** No, it was obscure, only a handful of people knew about it (cause it was shit), had a shitty OS, a shitty interface and you probably needed a stylus.. lame. Apple was pretty much the first to implement a CAPACITIVE touchscreen display, which pretty much never fucks up like a glitchy and crappy resistive, pressure based touchscreen display.
Your ignorance is halarious lol steve jobs has stolen every idea and everything he has done from someone else did you actually watch this video they said that at the very begining and a simple google search would tell you the same thing!!!! Steve Jobs paid someone to come up with ideas then sued them for copying him he made his fortune by litterally stealing from everyone else he never came up with anything other than the reputaion of his name. Not to mention when he started in the industry he was the poster boy for a free and OPEN internet and technology!!!!!! How open are apple products lol oh thats right they are not!!!! They make you a slave to what apple wants you to do. So not only is he a thief he is the biggest hypocrit in history.
1. Sony invented the portable Lithium-ion battery 2. Motorola invented the first hand-held mobile phone 3. Google invented a formula to create a far more accurate search engine 4. Nokia invented the internal antenna 5. IBM invented the first smartphone 6. Palm introduced the first touchscreen smartphone 7. Xerox invented the computer graphical interface 8. Microsoft invented the first tablet The list could go on...
Aero 1. Sony did not invented the lithium-ion battery. It was created by in 1970s and commercialized by Sony in the 1990s. Making battery smaller isn't an invention. 3. Google didn't invented the search engine. They refine the search engine just as Apple refine the smartphone to make it better. 4. If making an antenna internal is an invention, then Apple's aluminum unibody design is an invention. 5. So IBM added some garlic to a phone? Not a invention 6. So Palm added some cilantro to a PDA? Not an invention. Apple had the Newton years before Palm even existed.
iPhonePodCastTV 1. Sony was actually able to *minimize* the lithium-ion battery size, allowing our phones to be more lightweight and smaller the way they are now 3. I said Google invented a *formula* that would allow a more accurate search engine. And BTW, Apple didn't refine the smartphone. The technology on it was already available on other smartphones and computers at the time. 4. Did you see any other product at the time with an internal antenna? If Nokia didn't do that, then your iPhone would have an antenna sticking out of it. And no, Apple's unibody design is not "revolutionary". 5. "So IBM added some garlic to a phone?" Oh, so turning a phone into a PC is *not* an invention? Meanwhile, why are Apple fans claiming that Apple invented the smartphone even though it already existed? 6. The Newton? Really? The PDA existed far before the Newton was introduced... I find your reactions quite *biased*, actually. You say that other companies didn't make any inventions, and you're also trying to claim that they all copied off of Apple. And your reaction to 5. just had me lost right there. You're saying that even though IBM *literally* invented the smartphone, you're claiming that Apple was the one that did so? Wow...
*This is just an estimate value of most frequently used devices. May vary in different places.* Mac: $1,000-$10,000 Average PC: $300-$1000 iPod: $300-$500 +Fees to download MP3 players: $10-$100 (Free music) Beats: $100-$1,000 Average Headphones: $20-$100 Mac Book: $1,500-$10,000 Average Laptop: $100-$1,000 iPhone 6: $300-$500 ($1,000- $3,000 without contact) Most Android devices after 2012: $50-$300 ($300-$500 without contract) Apple Watch: $500-$20,000 Average Smart Watch: $100-$800 iPad: $300-$500 Average Tablet: $100-$500 I can't believe people are so stupid to buy Apple products. They're just copies of already existing products. Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's quality. There are many devices out there that are much better quality and cheaper than Apple products, yet, many people fall into Apple's scam. Apple doesn't invent crap. They're just reselling already existing products for a much higher price. People fail to see that. And this is a fact.
Danny Lanabanda I have met lots of iPhone ads that redirect you to the store to get some free game, the same story goes at Android, with all the ''you got a virus!!'' ads, or secret redirects to some porno apps, or innecesary games!!(That keep repeating everytime you access the link!!). I use AdBlock on both, best recommended, but sometimes it can breach out, and the site admins do little at these subliminal spams putted not by them.
You giving a bunch of prizes but that's not proving whether or not Apple invents things also apple iphone iPod iPad still has incredible amount love apps you won't find on Android plus I can jailbreak my Apple devices and get high quality apps absolutely free most free apps on Android suck ass
All those fanboys mad at this video. You know he wants to say he isn't an apple hater. I like the comments who use apple and understand they're not the best company. There isn't a best. I hope you guys understand that. Thanks.
Ironically to both of you I used to own an LG but it's usually biased android fanboys who are against apple just because they can't afford most of their products and they've never used any apple product besides an ipod before
Obummer BinLaden The Surface Pro outsells the iPad? Care to share some numbers? Last year Microsoft hardly made 900m USD revenue with its Surface line (RT & Pro) while Apple sold roughly 50m iPads at more than 18 USD per piece. Or do you have access to some secret sales figures Microsoft does not release to not shame Apple?
Gustav Magnusson BuildMeASnowmanBiatch You know what this means? The farming industry as we know it will soon cease to exist and all bulls everywhere will only have a staple diet of apples.
So basically Apple is like the big bully that steals your lunch money, forces you to do his homework, redecorates the whole classroom into a paper plane airstrip and then points a finger at you for making a mess when the teacher returns..
Blank I know, it is hard to underline your viewpoint with proper arguments, but then again, it is okay to have a choice when it comes to everything else but products from Apple. Hypocritical much?
Indecisive Fella Obviously, it hasn't got to do with his arguing capabilities. He probably just doesn't seem you as a fit person to argue with. So why are you asking him stuff when he clearly indicated that he has no interest in doing so? And he never said that people shouldn't buy products from Apple, so your whole 'choice' argument is completely picked out of your own ass. If anything, you just proved his 'vague arguments' assumption.
Such a fucking idiotic person with ADHD He implied people shouldn't buy Apple products, because if they would do any research, they wouldn't buy it. That is statin one's own opinion as fact. Many people have researched Apple products before buying them or not. I have seen it happen here and I have seen it happen on MacRumors Forums. Vague arguments? Really? I guess his or yours are precise? All I want to do is find out why one does think, that people doing research wouldn't buy a Mac or anything Apple. I guess I should have worded it differently. But then again, I was vague. All this vagina stuff made me hungry.
I don't understand why bash apple. Samsung makes depressing commercials talking constant shit about apple customers. They actually speak down upon apple customers. Apple is lightyears more professional than Samsung. I'm an apple fan, but I swear no elegance to a company. But with Samsung's 30 second attempts to talk smack about apple fans and their products, it's fairly difficult not to cling the company.
Dear Apple Fanboys: Please don't call People who have Knowledge in Technological History an Apple Hater, Like seriously you guys got this logic "If you state a fact about apple you are a hater" can't you guys just accept those facts? Like how we tech guys accept that iOS is a easy to use Operation System. You guys should accept that apple did patent inventions that doesn't have patent even though they are not the one who invented it first, don't try to twist history.. And to clear somethings... Yes, Apple Invented the iPad and iPhone but not the Smartphone and Tablet, I mean they are not the first one to realize the Idea...
Beloved Fella You want sources when almost everything is already on the video.. (This is the first and last reply you will get from me because from what I've read from all your comments here, it's either you are trolling of an apple fanatic)
NextStopPrevious There are no sources in this video. Or do you mean saying something and showing an image is a source? Well then you are the much bigger fanatic believing such crap. US Patent Law defines invention like this: a new, useful process, machine, improvement, etc., that did not exist previously and that is recognized as the product of some unique intuition or genius, as distinguished from ordinary mechanical skill or craftsmanship. - (www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/ido/oeip/taf/patdesc.htm) • Firewire is Apple's own name for IEE1394, Apple initiated development in 1986 with the help of the IEEE P1394 Working Group, where TI was belonging to then. From the 1394 Trade Association page: "History The 1394 digital link standard was conceived in 1986 by technologists at Apple Computer, who chose the trademark 'FireWire', in reference to its speeds of operation. The first specification for this link was completed in 1987. It was adopted in 1995 as the IEEE-1394 standard. IEEE-1394-2008 is the most current version of the standard, which supports asynchronous and isochronous data transmission with data rates ranging from 98.304Mb/s (S100) to 3.932Gb/s (S3200)." - (www.1394ta.org/about.html) • Newton MessagePad, while not the first real PDA, Apple coined the term PDA. I was not able to find an Apple press release about the MessagePad though, to either confirm or deny the claim of the video uploader (VU). • Thunderbolt: where does Apple claim, to be the inventor? It does not say so here: www.apple.com/thunderbolt/ And back in February of 2011, when the first Macs with TB arrived, Apple said this on their TB page: "Thunderbolt began at Intel Labs with a simple concept: create an incredibly fast input/output technology that just about anything can plug into." - (web.archive.org/web/20110227062320/www.apple.com/thunderbolt/) • MagSafe: Where did Apple say, it was something entirely new? They have a patent on this connector for electronic devices, thus rice cookers are not included. In their press release from 2006, Apple did not mention to being the first to implement magnetic properties with power adapters, but according to the definition of invention, it is an invention. • Studio & Cinema Displays: Where did Apple claim, to have "invented" the big displays? They were however the first to offer 30" computer displays and got the ball rolling for 2560 pixel wide displays, like the 27" displays nowadays. • Mini DisplayPort is in a way Apple's implementation of the DisplayPort standard, one could call it an invention or innovation, the line is blurry here. • I do not know that dog icon, but I really get the feeling, they went with items, where the term invention cannot always be applied. • 30-pin dock connector: A lot of companies seem to have their proprietary dock connectors, and Apple did implement some features in its dock connector, that would not be possible via Firewire or USB, like video out for example. • Apple IIe Card: again, blurry lines, but in the end, if it is not considered an invention, it was an innovation made in house. I guess that should count for something. Nowadays we do not have such problems anymore, everything is compatible with everything. Man, those first thirty years of personal computing must have been awful. • Apple TV: where does Apple say it is their invention? They say, it is their product, nothing more. These guys are really reaching. I guess they could not be bothered to look at Apple's actual invention. Still lots of shit to go I guess. And those moderators are quite bad. • MacBook Pro: Apple was the first to use the Unibody design for their notebooks, others just followed suit. It was an invention and innovation. • Apple logo: again, stretching. They did design it themselves, but then again, someone already took a bite before, and it was Turing. I guess that guy should be honoured. • QuickTake camera: I guess, they just list products, which cannot easily count as inventions, but the parts used inside or the parts used to create that product can be an invention, but then again, most people cannot look below surfaces and have to be superficial. • Mac OS 9: now they just ramble how bad it was, but I cannot say anything about that, since my only experience with pre Mac OS X was System 7 and Mac OS 9.2.2, which were okay and got me hooked. I always liked to theme Windows to look more like that, I still put that task bar up top when using Windows. • Mac OS X: Of course they invented some of the code, they bought some of the code, and they took some of the freely available code. The new OS is an invention, but of course only if you use the broader definition. Otherwise, no one is inventing anything. Maybe when the Singularity arrives, new inventions will be made. That video gets boring, but I fight through it. Hopefully you will too with this longer reply not really made for TH-cam. • Mac App Store: Again, where does Apple claim to be the first or having invented something entirely new with just the concept of the MAS? • iOS: Never heard it pronounced that way. Inventive. Unlike iOS of course, which was just Apple doing nothing. Man, those guys are prejudicial. And man, am I becoming even more prejudicial towards people with such beards. Probably wanted to join a metal band, but couldn't. • iPad: Sadly, this time they are 0% correct. Tablets and that concept existed before, even in Star Trek and 2001. And many manufacturers brought out products in the late 90s and early 2000s, which showed, how many people are really not interested in such crappy products. Luckily the iPad came along and showed everybody else, what to copy. I guess they couldn't see it from the iPhone, which was an obvious test bed for a multi touch tablet, at least for people looking at dozens of PADDs while watching TV. • The iPod was not claimed to be the first MP3 player, not by Apple at least. Where do they find those idiotic assumptions? It was the first popular MP3 player though and brought attention to Apple. I guess, it must not have been that bad a player. • Inductive charging: Apple does not offer any products of their own design or creation employing inductive charging. But I guess, since one can buy such products from the Apple Online Store, it must be Apple claiming it as their invention. Or are they talking about the patent for orientation based charging Apple got earlier this year? • iPhone: Yeah, I guess the name was the only thing they could come up with. Poor bastards. • Pippin: WHAT THE FUCK? I am seriously pissed right now, and I probably should stop, but I am also obsessed with stupid people like you and proofing them "right", which is of course a lost cause via social media. Anyway, I make a short break to break something, and will probably go to the cinema afterwards. Maybe I finish this reply later, maybe I will come to my senses and just post it until this dot. They think a lot, they do not know a lot. • A5: Officially it is a design by Apple, even if made by people from a previous company Apple bought, the company being P.A. Semi, not ARM. But then again, dangerous half wits share their ignorance. • notebook handle: Yeah, they got Apple this time, Apple clearly claimed to be the sole inventor of this idea. • Unibody construction: Apple introduced this sort of construction to notebooks, although it was a way to construct other parts of other industries long before. Again, those guys assume it was made for aesthetic reasons, thus it is not a real invention. I guess, the USPTO does see it differently, since it granted Apple a patent or more for that Unibody design specific to notebooks. (patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.htm&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=8,616,748.PN.&OS=PN/8,616,748&RS=PN/8,616,748) • legacy free PC: I guess they had to stretch, when they only got moot points Now they go off on lawsuits. They generalise a lot, but then again, one has to do that without actual points. Apple does not go after everyone, that copies something from Apple like tablets or smartphones, they go after people, just like any other company, violating their patents, and Apple has certain patents in the smartphone and tablet sector, that get copied to the T. Apple does not go after companies, using their own patents or licensed patents when it comes to smartphones and tablets. PS: I am not fully versed in all the legal stuff, and I have seen some frivolous lawsuits reported made against Apple and being pursued by Apple in the past decade. I do not agree with any of them, be they from Apple or against Apple. Anyway, if you want to see granted Apple patents, which include their own inventions, go here: www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/patents-granted/
Well, That was informative. Thank you. It's my lost. Just to clarify things the start of the video is not about apple claiming they did it first, its about their customers claiming apple did it first. Again Thank you for the Informative comments, i did my research but i did not go that deep and unlike others i accept new factual information rather than hate and deny it. Anyway Sorry for the prejudice, i never thought there are reasonable and logical who defend Apple, you are the first one i saw defend apple like that and with actual information.
NextStopPrevious • "Just to clarify things the start of the video is not about apple claiming they did it first, its about their customers claiming apple did it first." - Yep, but that premise is glossed over quite easily, and they assume every Apple customer is that way, but the opposite is true. And thanks for your compliments, that is unheard of here. Are you sure you are not suffering from some head injury? Anyway, have a good evening or morning or Venus day.
I've seen some heavy bullshit down here in the comments, so PLEASE STOP POSTING IT. To everyone about to make a comment: - this is what an INVENTION is: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invention - making a device of some kind and giving it an iName is NOT a fucking invention - making a device of some kind with outstanding quality can be innovation, NOT invention - Apple fanboys can go pay Tim Cook even more than they do.
Apple doesn't invent new things. They change new things, just to the point to be defined as "acceptable" They also make what they design look "sleek and modern". For example: There has always been a Siri equivalent. Nearly all mobile cell phones (2008 and up) have had some sort of voice control software. But Apple changed theirs, they made it work just plainly better. They made it look good. General consumers don't realize this. They think Apple is revolutionizing and completely changing the industry of technology as we know it. They're not.
+Mr. Shiginami02 No they didn't even invent that. The universe is a better candidate for who invented a dead Steve Jobs, and we don't know if the Apple Steve Jobs is the first.
Does it matter if they invented anything? Only if they sue people over things. We shouldn't have a legal system that allows "patent trolling" to happen though.
no, it won't have windows... and it won't have engine, seats, wheels... or any thing alse... it will just be a flat piece of metal board with apple logo on it, and then apple company will tell you the only reason that your Apple car won't run is because your road isn't made by apple, so it suffer from a hardware clash :)
Apple = For people who knows nothing about computers who were always fans since the IPod PC = for people who are eductaded about computers *But why?* Most Apple User's reasoning: "i prefer MACS because they are nicer computers, cooler and more sleek looking, ultra thin, has the trendy look and simple. More expensive = better" Most PC User's reasoning: "i prefer PC because i check the hardware to know WHAT i am buying before paying for my PC and get better performance for a fair price as Intel/nvidia/etc intended their prices to be. And if i dont like some parts, i can easily replace them" Also everybody i know who took computer science and/or are computer "geeks" (who knows all their stuff) prefers the PC. The only people i know who prefers the MACS are just casuals
***** And still the "moderators" ignore those rules four times when mentioning Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, iOS and the Mac App Store, unless that is not software of course, and for the sake of this video, it better is, otherwise it looks less ridiculous than it already is.
No, Apple has not invented anything major. Americans tends to claim "first to market" as "inventing" (Edison onwards) - and all Apple has done is repackage and market existing concepts. If they can claim one thing as "invention" it's the clean interface, be it graphical or physical - but even then it's just development, really.
It's okay guys you can be metrosexual or homosexual in there an iPhone because it's pleasing to your eyes that's totally fine but it's just not innovative hell half of them still only have 3-g
i had an ipod 4th. i liked it. i broke it. i had an ipod 5th. i loved it. i had an android tablet. i hated how slow it was. i had an android phone. i loved it tons more. i have a high end android phone. nothing (except PC's) beat this. Went back to ipod 5th, SO SLOWWWWWW and difficult to navigate, need to jailbreak, can be difficult, apps crash loads, its slow, went back to android phone, never going back to ios. macs at school. slow as shit. i accidently visited a mac malware website and because of safari exploits it was difficult to get rid of as it opened as soon as i opened safari. windwos laptops at school: slow and buggy but still better than the macs. windows computers at school: fast but outdated. my gaming pc build! BEAST OF A THING so fast and has a 960 and 16gb ram. School computers? 2gb ram. Stay away from apple and save up and build your computers.
yotoprules Your answer made litteraly no sense. Linux sucks for everyday use on a desktop. Most people in dev use macs because of the unix integration and it just works.
All these Apple fanboys commenting here is really sad. Apple may have perfected many things, but they didn't create any technology that didn't exist before.
They've never really claimed to... Since Jobs' return in '97 they have always had the approach of taking existing ideas and just doing them "better" than anyone else, whilst also heavily involving design in the process to make them more of a pleasure to use.
Haha I like how Apple 9 was a mess :) and they made it by them self. So that means anything that hasn't been stolen from other companies doesn't work well that goes to show Apple never really were that smart. I mean yeah a lovely looking Mac Book Pro wouldn't say no to been sat on my desk just for the aesthetics but nothing inside it is special compared to any other laptop or pc.
Except you pay a lot more for what's inside a mac book pro, similar price PC has a lot more hardware. There cheapest mac pro is 1299$ and only packs a 4gbs of ram, and a dual-core i5, with no dedicated graphics, At that price you can get a gaming laptop with a 7970m and a A10-quad-core(probably about even with the intel i5 dual-core, but the quad-core will perform better in multi-core apps) and 8gbs of ram and a lot more storage space.
The comment section is really disappointing. Didn't anyone hear what they said in the video? *We want to start a constructive debate.* Most people are just hating on one company or the other.
I can answer the question. NO! I didn't even have to watch the video. Actually they did create the practice of being overpriced garbage and stealing peoples money
@ My beautiful and amazing Princess I am sad to say there weren't the first company to do that my sony Ericsson from 2009 had no headphone jack and needed a adapter
Rupert Leather Really? Does this video not explain it to you? The first iPhone is powered by an ARM 11 chip running at 412MHz. That's ARM. Not Apple. It's not a System on a Chip (SOC) like the later A5's and A6's. Apple took ANOTHER COMPANY'S technology and slapped in their own product and called it an "invention". As for the iPad. Well the first iPad came with the Apple A4 chip. But who made this chip? Ohhh shock-horror. It's made by SAMSUNG. The full chip name is the Samsung-Intrinsity Apple A4 APL0398 (S5PC110A01). Now I can hear you scream "Well iPhone was the first touch-screen phone" or "iPhone was the first smartphone". Sorry dude, that accolade belongs to the IBM Simon. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smartphone en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_Simon As for the iPad, well as Tek Syndicate already points out, the first tablet was the Gridpad as featured in this video. So both your points there are invalidated. Do some research before posting comments like that.
Rupert Leather Well, actually when you don't use any punctuation in your comments, then yeah us normal people reading this wouldn't know if users are being sarcastic. Since no voice can be put in plain text, to punctuate sarcasm you put an exclamation mark inside parenthesis. This would denote the statement as being untrue. Such as: I really, really like your comment. It's the best comment on this video(!) So really if you're not going to use proper grammar then how the hell are the rest of us going to know? And be honest, did you really know about the IBM Simon? Hmmmm? *Waits patiently tapping his fingers on the table*
Well, technically (I'm not an apple fan, I think iPhones and the likes are stupid. I liked their stuff in the 80's and 90's better) apple (Steve Wozniak) Invented the worlds first ever Computer able to draw to the screen, the Apple I back in, say about 1976? Don't quote me on that, I don't remember everything I read in books...
2002 bill gates interduced pc tablet and nobody gave a flying f. Many years later steve interduced ipad and people started to piss themselves like an overexcited dog.
Indecisive fella has commented over 100,000 lines of replies and not once (I checked, it was a pain to do) Has he ever gotten a like, slow clap for him guys
So you are trying to debunk all of his statements on the fact that no one has clicked the thumbs up button yet underneath his comment? it might be just me being awake for too long straight, but that seems like an ad hominem (i think i spelt that right)
Thank you for checking not all of them, as your research skills seem rather ridiculous, since I can find at least six via my Inbox, or whatever that notifications center is called. But then again, Google+ does not offer any tools to do a proper search, which is quite astonishing for a search engine supplier. And can I ask why you are so bound to find likes? Are those likes any kind of indicator of a valid argument? Is that too much Facebook in your life forcing you to look at it that way? And what about the many statements getting those likes? Are they more valid, even if lacking any kind of argument, just because they get a +1? Anyway, it was good seeing you again, it tells me a lot about you.
There we go, I was hoping you would fall into my ploy, I had no evidence to suggest you had no life (Which was obvious) And you picked up on it, I must say, as a psychiatrist my diagnosis? You're a sociopath. This is entertainment for you? Insulting another of obvious low level intelligence to feel smart? But then again you didn't think about the other person and how they are probably just insecure, visible signs of being a teenager going through the motions. Guess you didn't really realize that then... Who did you think I was by my first and second comment here? I recommend you go see someone.
yes because people like you said apple sucks because you have to use your fingers to ues your smartphone. it is why no smartphone comes with a stylus and you have to buy it as an extra.
Chris Nelvin I made a PC for a friend for $600 and plays Watch Dogs , Battlefield 4 Ultra with high graphics and for 600 bucks u can get a lenovo or any other type of laptop and it will run as fast or faster than an imac from 2008
David MacNeil I would just have 1080p 4k would be an overkill in a smartphone I'd like to have 4k in a 62" oled smart TV because you don't have a battery to worry about and would go awesome with my Xbox one :D
David MacNeil I tho Retina had to do with PPI ( Pixels per inch or something like that)... Andthe distance you are watching it from .. Retina could be 720p from 10meters away with a great PPI :) Think Apple mention this( sorry if bad english.. Its my third language ..
***** what Apple says is that retina display has "enough" resolution they say that the human eye can only see 300 pixels per inch at the distance you usually hold a phone but it is even less and I rather it that way not because I love the resolution but because it already drains the battery like crazy imagine if it had a higher resolution
They have not invented almost anything, they just present it so damn well that everybody thinks they did it first. The only thing that is not overrated in Apple is their marketing.
Their PR and marketing departments are top notch, for sure. They know how to relate and market to people. The products though, are iffy, at least to me in terms of functionality, power, ease of use, and usability.
I advise this as a public service: Doing the research is your issue. Go look it up. These guys are so awesome! People....think for yourselves! Think! Decide! SBF.
the "TouchStream Mini" was not a mouse, it was a keyboard with a multi-touch gesture surface. It was not a mouse.cdn.macrumors.com/article/2007/11/01/frontlp_300.jpg Buying companies for patent; isn't that what Google has done with Motorola??
ProDesignHd Yes, but I believe that Google never really needed to spend that huge sum of money to protect their patents if Apple wasn't doing these ridiculous lawsuits. No flame here, just my opinion. :)
Sean Moir , do you actually know what you are talking about? This is the Xerox Parc mouse www.google.ca/search?q=Xerox+PARC+multi-touch+mouse&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=uAD0UpL1DeHMsQSM3ICYDg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=2560&bih=1277#q=Xerox+PARC+mouse&spell=1&tbm=isch&facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=Urpkh0jVtmPJiM%253A%3BwCCKQS-_VV4xgM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww-sul.stanford.edu%252Fmac%252Fprimary%252Fimages%252Fstarm6.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww-sul.stanford.edu%252Fmac%252Fprimary%252Fimages%252Fstarm6.html%3B600%3B408 and it was not "multi-touch" at all. so how come was it "another mashup of the mouse". Can you provide real arguments based on facts please? The "TouchStream Minis" is not a mouse! The Apple magic mouse is a mouse. I'll let you complet the rest...
That is really stretching it. The same principle is applied on touchscreen which was invented in 1983. On top of that we have had touch pads for laptops for years. Simply putting it on a random device like a mouse which was already invented is not really an invention but I can still see your logic that they put touch screen or pad on an actual mouse instead of a laptop. Its too far of a stretch to be valid. Makes for an interesting argument though.
Steve jobs is the type of guy to order a sandwich at subway then buy a package of ham in some other store put it on the sandwich then sue subway for selling that sandwich
I've had a Apple iPhone 3,4,5 and 6 during my life. Last month I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and blown away by how better the Android UI is and everything about it. Apple is more ideal for users who want a simple software.
lol But nobody ever attacks Samsung (more like Samshit) for everything they have stolen over the years. In fact, criticizing Samsung gets you attacked by rapid Samshit fanboys
***** Yet the video does provide not very accurate data, does it? I am an Apple fan, but the way they sponsor their products its kind of brainwashing. They try to tell that they are the best in everything when they are not. But the ability to run OS X and Windows at the same time almost natively makes me like them above the others (I know you can setup a Hackintosh but it is usually a pain). I also like the iPhone interface, other phones can be better, but I love all the options that jailbreak gives you. This is why I like Apple, but as you said in the video, they should change a lot of the things they do.
I partially agree. With emulation you can't get good expierence (You can with Hackintosh). Not all the software in Windows is better (What its true is that you have almost everything with Windows). And anyways as a DJ and producer the MacBook Pro is the perfect laptop choice. I have Traktor, Logic and FL Studio (Wtih bootcamp) working well with a good battery life.
AD campaign? Seriously? All the companies in the world uses techniques like that to attract customers into their brand while a lot of the customers don't know or don't want to know anything about what's behind the companies origins. I mean, its like KFC does an ad campaign saying that their fried chicken are the best out of all the fried chicken but its still fried chicken with a of spices and herbs. Much like Mac is PC. PC is the first to come out but Apple took the idea and turn it into their own.
I love how all the things you love about apple products that you listed are mods that the company has tried their best to keep people from doing. I don't hate their products, the products are great. they set amazing standards of quality. I hate the COMPANY.
I agree with everything he says except when he says Samsung doesn't bash on other companies and steal from them... Have you seen the comercials they make constant advertisements about how the iPhone is garbage and can't do anything that their products can do? And have you seen Apple Pay. I mean "Samsung Pay" because they definitely invented that...
Samsung Pay came off of Android Pay. Samsung is also a chip set producer, Apple's A10 chips are going to be built on Samsung's 14nm chips. So yes, they do make their own shit.
+Brian Alvarez Making an attack ad is not the same as suing others to the ground (or try to), just as PS4 making attack ads on how easy it would be to share games vs xbox one, it's basically competition banter, completely not on the same league as using the legal system to attempt to secure monopoly.
+Brian Alvarez What rock did you crawl out from? Ads like that have been around since the invention of Advertisements. They don't really do anything except just show that "Our product is better than theirs" and maybe have some kind of clever trick words or images in it. The problem is making lawsuits about your "invention".
Literally all inventions are just combinations of ideas to make something new. By your restrictions nobody has invented anything ever, everyone's just 'making new recipes'
Like most organizations which sell electronics, they may not be inventors. They are really mostly engineers. And they really are way way overboard for the lawsuits. I admit I really like thier engineering. But I really hate the way they abuse the legal system.
They have gone to lengths of basing their efforts in countries where tax is 0 and they have been milking profits from everywhere. You would know this if you were a Adult
Ravenbutt i have to fully agree with that, the only goal of apple is to rip people off. they make tons of money, but all of that comes from other companies inventions
They're kinda like King, taking that whole Trozei/Chuzzles/Bejeweled/Whatever else genre, then attempting to patent the words "Candy" and "Saga" individually.
Everyone has their own designs for products, that doesn't mean they invented them. However, Apple did them well. From the very start, in 1976, they created things that actually worked and got sold. They got the GUI to instantly fly and many other things. While on Apple's side, stop being people who know nothing about tech only 5 years ago and saying: omg appl invented the apple headfones tho
wrong the phone came first the iPad was yes because of the newton iPod was an mp3 player and computers like ibm came first apple tv is a computer on your tv and one thing came out in 1999
They invented high prices.
+RoPlay
Nope, high prices precede Apple by millennia.
Or why are comparable computers and smartphones similarly priced?

+Respected Fella Is it your goal to disagree with everyone in the comments of this video?
PeopleHateMyOpinions who is also a terrible Grammar Nazi
Nope, you have to pay attention.
They invented a $250 phone for $800. Does that count?
lol
actually many phone companies such as Samsung, Sony, LG, etc... all of them do that
Michael Wilson yes, they also found the stupidest ceo ever but that doesn't count
Michael Wilson But the build quality is really good and the OS is far more efficient and 250$ android phones don't have aluminum chassis and good enough camera.
Wrong on every point.
Apple did indeed invent something... they invented the overpriced computer that does half the things a pc is capable of doing.
Hey, apple invented the iWatch
dont tell me tell syndicate
Deadly Myth See: Android Wear
Apple is for people who want easy use, there aren't nearly as many crashes and bugs like on the PC or Windows or Android. Microsoft downgrades their software, while Apple is constantly improving. Maybe Apple didn't invent anything, but they take ideas that need improvement, and make them better.
Basically, Apple takes an idea, applefies it and improves it, and that is the product.
Apple is like that kid on the playground who thought he owned the slide and would beat up anyone else who came near it.
Grant Bowen Really? Then why does Samsung still exist and why does Google still exist?

apple is a marketing company disguised as a technology company
+Juju jujuria Exactly!
Greg Towers weird then that they've sold over 200 million of them this year alone so far...i don't think morons would have the patience for a product like this if it was as awful as you're trying to say it is...besides, you bought two, who's the real sucker here? i've bought 0 apple products literally my entire life
but you can't honestly believe that they don't have some seriously talented engineers working there, do you? it's easy to look at a broken iphone and yell "THIS piece of SHIT!!!" and not see the years of exhausting work that goes into packing that much processing power into such a small package and making it work well
all i'm saying is that to suggest they're just a super lucky marketing company tells me you know nothing about tech and the work that goes into it
jacksonlefteye The first one was faulty and the second one was my replacement.
Many people say apple invented stuff, as mentioned in the video.
That's still fucked up taking someone's idea and suing them for it.
They invented hipsters.
Psh. I was a hipster before Apple made them, apple hipsters are all posers /s
You could stick the apple logo on a brick and people would stand hours on end in the cold for it.
haha haha XD
lol
lol
Is that not what they have been doing for the last few years?
fuck yes.
Guys have you heard the new iMyAss iMac Pro Overpriced++ edition? I heard it's gonna be more powerful than a Chromebook for only $37,000!
Apple,
Stop overpricing your products.
Then find those cheaper alternative offering all the same features Macs do.
See, those alternatives are not cheaper.
Indecisive Fella Which features are you referring to?
Kian Palmer
Size, weight, look, material finish, display quality, battery life, trackpad excellence and many more.
I mean, you have a couple hundred dollars worth of aluminum on the back of the computer and you don't even see it
For looks, it's all personal preference.
So Apple didn't do anything in that regard
Trackpad excellence. Apple does not manufacture parts. It is simply Apple asking another company to make something for them, and calling it their own.
"You have to pay similar or higher prices"
I have built a $3500 PC that outperforms a Mac Pro.
Kian Palmer
• "If you're talking about desktops, you can find very small towers, such as the Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX form factor."
- Yep, I have looked at those.
I mean, you have a couple hundred dollars worth of aluminum on the back of the computer and you don't even see it"
- Nope, that is simply untrue.
There are thousands of cases on the market for you to build your PC in."
- Yep, not that many good looking cases for my taste out there.
• "For display quality, you can find extremely detailed and high quality standalone monitors. Also, keep in mind that Apple does not manufacture any display whatsoever. Almost every screen in Apple products are made by Samsung, if not another brand."
- I know, I have one Dell U2713HM, and Apple also uses LG panels quite a lot.
• "Battery life, that's because of Intel and what they have done to minimize power usage. Also, Yosemite, a.k.a. Unix, is designed to be a minimalist operating system that can be easily built on. So Apple didn't do anything in that regard"
- Really, Apple did nothing?
Good to know.
• "Trackpad excellence. Apple does not manufacture parts. It is simply Apple asking another company to make something for them, and calling it their own."
- And who does deliver the specs of the trackpad? Why does no one else use those specs? Who writes the drivers?
In 2012 I testes several mid budget notebooks and their trackpads. They were worse, reaction, feel, size and capabilities, than the trackpad of my 2004 iBook, which I used for several years.
And sadly Synaptics does not offer that good hardware and software.
• ""You have to pay similar or higher prices"
I have built a $3500 PC that outperforms a Mac Pro. I have proved this using CineBench and 3DMark Firestrike benchmarks.
Clearly you have not done any research on the capabilities of a PC."
- In other words, you do not, since you haven't told us what exact Mac Pro with what exact configuration you have beaten.
• "Heck, even Apple's servers are built from PC components because nothing that Apple offers can handle the load."
- And? They have simply realised, that they are not yet ready for the server market. Wow, they are self conscious.
• "Also, having a PC tends to have a side effect of knowing how your computer works.
Tell me, what are the 6 main components of a computer?"
- Yep, just like building your own bike or car or refrigerator or shower or whatever.
And if you really wanna know the six main components of a computer: love, lust, lube - times two.
PS: I have done my fair share of building computers, I do not need to prove to you my knowledge.
And even if I did, how could you make sure, I did not look that up on ahem, Wiki or TH-cam?
There's one awesome thing Apple invented:
Steal other companys product, slam the apple logo on it and raise the price by 300%.
Go over Apple's history for yourself. They took things that wouldn't have worked well and made them possible. Don't base things on an iPhone or something. I feel like we should better educate others about computer history. People are misinformed and judge things by how they are today.
asdfasdf4345artsdfg It was just a joke :D
Take that apple out of your ass and relax a little.

Remove those shards of glass from yours! ;)
maccollectorZ (Commenting Account) Took you 5 months and this is all you could come up with? I'm disappointed.

Your comment wasn't in my inbox until I checked it today. Google turned TH-cam into cr@p.
They invented Copying
You watch too much CollegeHumor.
Neoflash Gaming IKR
Yep, and airplanes are magic.
+I, Mason Is that the same design Apple copied from Sony?
Apple invented hypocritical behaviour
When you buy an apple, you're buying a name. That's it. The prestige of the name, that's what your $2000 dollars for your mac is going towards: the name.
+Chris Hall
Are you absolutely sure?
Does that mean, I can get an equivalent computer in all aspects for 1999 USD?
+Confused Fella I'm not agreeing completely with Chris' comment, but no: Just concerning the desktop hardware, you can get a lot MORE power on a Windows machine for the same price. And software related, there's an equal alternative to most of Apples applications. Except ProRes, Windows' alternative definetely can't hold up to that :/
MrMansionIV
Only if you consider CPU and GPU power and ignore all the rest will you find cheaper hardware.
I never tried Cineform because in my experience not many people use it in an professional environment. Maybe one day, but right now I'll stick to Avid ;)
PS: Found my comment again? I edited it to improve my grammar, so I guess that caused the problem? :D
MrMansionIV
Regarding you comment, my bad.
You clearly have spend a lot of time to create that sentence, but not its content.
Have you got an example of this? Could you say what you had in mind when you wrote it?
Reuben Carr The iPad. Tablets were nothing new when the iPad came out, they had existed for decades. Microsoft even had a big push for their tablets that ran mobile Windows XP in the early 2000s, but due to a bunch of factors like high initial cost, and poor marketing, they never really took hold. A few years later costs had come down, but the tablet segment's poor initial sales mean most manufacturers weren't putting much effort into it. Apple then came in, looked at what other people were selling and applied their usual "simplify, improve aesthetics, mass marketing" strategy, and the iPad was born.
Ivan Hop
Fanboy.. Even Apples interface is stolen.
Dan Rosendahl Hansen
From where then? And what specific elements?
Apple invented Stupid prices for their Mac computers.
yeah....
if they were $1k cheaper i'd contemplate buying one.
Quality isn't cheap.
***** Samsung is much lower quality. Thats a fact.
Connor Fin Explain how Mr. Apple fanboy.
The only thing I can see is the useless sapphire glass that doesn't do anything. Oh and by the way, Samsung makes the processors for Iphones, so thanks to Samsung the apple is fast because of that samsung made CPU.
An update of this video would be greatly appreciated.
I know they invented killing the audio jack
Actually no, Nokia did it first I think, and Motorolla did it before Apple also. :D
Ana Grujic that was before music was really in cellphones capabilities so in reality they just weren't there or needed unlike today's phones plus think Nokia and Motorola aren't really big players in cellphone market anymore I haven't seen a Nokia or Motorola in decades
oppo did it first i believe...
oppo is a chinese phone
The Oppo company couldn't even fit the headphone jack inside of their phones because it was too thin, Apple was just being dumb about the entire situation.
So is the iPhone.
so basically they take stuff other people made, change 1 thing and put their name on it... LEGIT PLAGIARISM (would get a 0 in university, but they get money for that in life??)
No. They did not. But then again, to make it simple for simple folk, such extreme exaggerations get used to get a point across, especially lies.
They reinvented the computer operating system.
dude are you 10 years old or what ??
touch screens were used on the 80" on military equipment
so if you dont know nothing about that please dont talk
im still waiting the day apple offers me something orther brand cannot offer for less price
please notice me when apple wil have a 41mpix camera on their smartphones nokia has that !! when the iphone will be able to send bluetooth files to other brand smartphones other than apple
that is like slavery on free fucking choise , not being able to send a fucking photo to my other smartphone by bluetooth
So not only is he a thief he is the biggest hypocrit in history.
using this logic, nobody has ever invented anything...
1. Sony invented the portable Lithium-ion battery
2. Motorola invented the first hand-held mobile phone
3. Google invented a formula to create a far more accurate search engine
4. Nokia invented the internal antenna
5. IBM invented the first smartphone
6. Palm introduced the first touchscreen smartphone
7. Xerox invented the computer graphical interface
8. Microsoft invented the first tablet
The list could go on...
Aero
Not a invention
6. So Palm added some cilantro to a PDA? Not an invention. Apple had the Newton years before Palm even existed.
iPhonePodCastTV
1. Sony was actually able to *minimize* the lithium-ion battery size, allowing our phones to be more lightweight and smaller the way they are now
5. "So IBM added some garlic to a phone?"
Oh, so turning a phone into a PC is *not* an invention? Meanwhile, why are Apple fans claiming that Apple invented the smartphone even though it already existed?
6. The Newton? Really? The PDA existed far before the Newton was introduced...
I find your reactions quite *biased*, actually. You say that other companies didn't make any inventions, and you're also trying to claim that they all copied off of Apple. And your reaction to 5. just had me lost right there. You're saying that even though IBM *literally* invented the smartphone, you're claiming that Apple was the one that did so? Wow...
iPhonePodCastTV
Aero made you his bitch
Eathams hahaha
*This is just an estimate value of most frequently used devices. May vary in different places.*
Mac: $1,000-$10,000
Average PC: $300-$1000
iPod: $300-$500 +Fees to download
MP3 players: $10-$100 (Free music)
Beats: $100-$1,000
Average Headphones: $20-$100
Mac Book: $1,500-$10,000
Average Laptop: $100-$1,000
iPhone 6: $300-$500 ($1,000- $3,000 without contact)
Most Android devices after 2012: $50-$300 ($300-$500 without contract)
Apple Watch: $500-$20,000
Average Smart Watch: $100-$800
iPad: $300-$500
Average Tablet: $100-$500
I can't believe people are so stupid to buy Apple products.
Danny Lanabanda
True.
Apple sucks :P
Danny Lanabanda Not when IT comes to those spamming ads on the Internet for iPhones!! (and also Androids)
Danny Lanabanda
I have met lots of iPhone ads that redirect you to the store to get some free game, the same story goes at Android, with all the ''you got a virus!!'' ads, or secret redirects to some porno apps, or innecesary games!!(That keep repeating everytime you access the link!!).
Thanks.
Apple - crApple
Android fanboy
Darshan Davis I don't think that word means what you think it means
Ironically to both of you I used to own an LG but it's usually biased android fanboys who are against apple just because they can't afford most of their products and they've never used any apple product besides an ipod before
Darshan Davis there's another word you don't seem to know the meaning of.
Obummer BinLaden
The Surface Pro outsells the iPad?
Care to share some numbers?
Last year Microsoft hardly made 900m USD revenue with its Surface line (RT & Pro) while Apple sold roughly 50m iPads at more than 18 USD per piece.
Or do you have access to some secret sales figures Microsoft does not release to not shame Apple?
Apple invented bullshit. Can I get my mouse now?
Apple copied it and then sued bulls for copying their bulshit.
Archit Bajaj Best comment ever XD
Gustav Magnusson BuildMeASnowmanBiatch You know what this means? The farming industry as we know it will soon cease to exist and all bulls everywhere will only have a staple diet of apples.
It's all branding. Just like people buying expensive white t-shirts or expensive food
Nope, many of those exclusive white t-shirts, are really high quality white t-shirts. Apple is lower quality than average.
"it's all branding. Just like people buying expensive white t-shirts or expensive food that work and are simple."

So basically Apple is like the big bully that steals your lunch money, forces you to do his homework, redecorates the whole classroom into a paper plane airstrip and then points a finger at you for making a mess when the teacher returns..
Apple is mainstream.
If people actually researched their products and company no one would ever buy anything from them.
Blank "If people actually researched their products and company no one would ever buy anything from them."
Why?
Indecisive Fella I've seen your vague arguments. Not wasting my time on you.
Blank
I know, it is hard to underline your viewpoint with proper arguments, but then again, it is okay to have a choice when it comes to everything else but products from Apple.
Such a fucking idiotic person with ADHD
He implied people shouldn't buy Apple products, because if they would do any research, they wouldn't buy it.
"Apple is lightyears more professional than Samsung"- How can one determine professionalism in terms of distance?
Vishal Krishnani Stop trying to be a smartass. I'm sure you got the point.
Mad 'cause Samsung shitted on Apple than hurt all your ego's by talking shit about it?
brundain1 When did they shit on Apple?
brundain1 Lmao you +1d your own comment.
Quick answer yes they invented putting a working computer in a trash can.
Dear Apple Fanboys:
Please don't call People who have Knowledge in Technological History an Apple Hater, Like seriously you guys got this logic "If you state a fact about apple you are a hater" can't you guys just accept those facts? Like how we tech guys accept that iOS is a easy to use Operation System. You guys should accept that apple did patent inventions that doesn't have patent even though they are not the one who invented it first, don't try to twist history..
And to clear somethings... Yes, Apple Invented the iPad and iPhone but not the Smartphone and Tablet, I mean they are not the first one to realize the Idea...

Then point to your sources.
Beloved Fella You want sources when almost everything is already on the video..
(This is the first and last reply you will get from me because from what I've read from all your comments here, it's either you are trolling of an apple fanatic)
NextStopPrevious
There are no sources in this video.

• Firewire is Apple's own name for IEE1394, Apple initiated development in 1986 with the help of the IEEE P1394 Working Group, where TI was belonging to then.
From the 1394 Trade Association page:
"History
The 1394 digital link standard was conceived in 1986 by technologists at Apple Computer, who chose the trademark 'FireWire', in reference to its speeds of operation. The first specification for this link was completed in 1987. It was adopted in 1995 as the IEEE-1394 standard. IEEE-1394-2008 is the most current version of the standard, which supports asynchronous and isochronous data transmission with data rates ranging from 98.304Mb/s (S100) to 3.932Gb/s (S3200)."
• Newton MessagePad, while not the first real PDA, Apple coined the term PDA. I was not able to find an Apple press release about the MessagePad though, to either confirm or deny the claim of the video uploader (VU).
• Thunderbolt: where does Apple claim, to be the inventor? It does not say so here: www.apple.com/thunderbolt/
And back in February of 2011, when the first Macs with TB arrived, Apple said this on their TB page:
"Thunderbolt began at Intel Labs with a simple concept: create an incredibly fast input/output technology that just about anything can plug into."
- (web.archive.org/web/20110227062320/www.apple.com/thunderbolt/)
• MagSafe: Where did Apple say, it was something entirely new?
(patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.htm&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=8,616,748.PN.&OS=PN/8,616,748&RS=PN/8,616,748)
• legacy free PC: I guess they had to stretch, when they only got moot points
Now they go off on lawsuits.

• "Just to clarify things the start of the video is not about apple claiming they did it first, its about their customers claiming apple did it first."
- Yep, but that premise is glossed over quite easily, and they assume every Apple customer is that way, but the opposite is true.
And thanks for your compliments, that is unheard of here. Are you sure you are not suffering from some head injury?
Anyway, have a good evening or morning or Venus day.
the perfect recipe for a apple milkshake:
-1 gallon milk
-1 bag of ice
-1 green IPhone 5c
I've seen some heavy bullshit down here in the comments, so PLEASE STOP POSTING IT. To everyone about to make a comment:
- this is what an INVENTION is: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invention
- making a device of some kind and giving it an iName is NOT a fucking invention
- making a device of some kind with outstanding quality can be innovation, NOT invention
- Apple fanboys can go pay Tim Cook even more than they do.
They invented a dead steve jobs
+Mr. Shiginami02 that is not funny!
+Mr. Shiginami02 No they didn't even invent that. The universe is a better candidate for who invented a dead Steve Jobs, and we don't know if the Apple Steve Jobs is the first.
+Mr. Shiginami02 lol true
Does it matter if they invented anything? Only if they sue people over things. We shouldn't have a legal system that allows "patent trolling" to happen though.
If apple made a car... Would it have Windows???
Lol
no, it won't have windows... and it won't have engine, seats, wheels... or any thing alse... it will just be a flat piece of metal board with apple logo on it, and then apple company will tell you the only reason that your Apple car won't run is because your road isn't made by apple, so it suffer from a hardware clash :)
Vostadues And the Apple fans would actually believe them! :D
No but it will be running on Blackberry/QNX's micro kernel ;) sadly they would claim it as their invention also
they will tell you that you are driving it wrong
Apple = For people who knows nothing about computers who were always fans since the IPod
PC = for people who are eductaded about computers
*But why?*
Most Apple User's reasoning: "i prefer MACS because they are nicer computers, cooler and more sleek looking, ultra thin, has the trendy look and simple. More expensive = better"
Most PC User's reasoning: "i prefer PC because i check the hardware to know WHAT i am buying before paying for my PC and get better performance for a fair price as Intel/nvidia/etc intended their prices to be. And if i dont like some parts, i can easily replace them"
Also everybody i know who took computer science and/or are computer "geeks" (who knows all their stuff) prefers the PC. The only people i know who prefers the MACS are just casuals
The other thing about apple is all the people who love apple wouldn't understand half the words said in this video.
Apple invented fanboys
*****
And still the "moderators" ignore those rules four times when mentioning Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, iOS and the Mac App Store, unless that is not software of course, and for the sake of this video, it better is, otherwise it looks less ridiculous than it already is.
***** Invented that
Xbox created fanboys
Indecisive Fella OOOOh apple fanboys bitching.
PCGamer90x
You are just jealous to not have anything profound to contribute.
This is not about being first, this is about making the great products. So your argument is useless.
their products are shit too. there goes your agument
Roflmaopwnage Uc Really??? Like which one in the current product lineup? Give me one example.
apple fails in both of those categories.
Θ m i п σ u s Yeah! You are staying that to game changer, former world's most valuable brand and present 2nd most valuable brand.
yeah because the majority of the worlds population is retarded. thats a lot of candidates for apply products idd
I'm saving you 20 minutes by saying NO that's the answer
nah fam, this video is worth every transistor
My prediction... Google is going to work togheter with lots of companies to sue apple ---> apple gets bankrupt and quits
If apple keep up with this greediness, then yes that will more likely happen.
JessLe- Berry agreed
I hate apple
*high fives
You're so cool man...
Good for you
It's okay guys you can be metrosexual or homosexual in there an iPhone because it's pleasing to your eyes that's totally fine but it's just not innovative hell half of them still only have 3-g
Samsung helps apple and if they stopped apple would be screwed
Thumbs up if you're not an Apple fanboy.
i had an ipod 4th. i liked it.
i broke it.
i had an ipod 5th. i loved it.
i had an android tablet. i hated how slow it was.
i had an android phone. i loved it tons more.
i have a high end android phone. nothing (except PC's) beat this.
Went back to ipod 5th, SO SLOWWWWWW and difficult to navigate, need to jailbreak, can be difficult, apps crash loads, its slow,
went back to android phone, never going back to ios.
macs at school. slow as shit. i accidently visited a mac malware website and because of safari exploits it was difficult to get rid of as it opened as soon as i opened safari.
windwos laptops at school: slow and buggy but still better than the macs.
windows computers at school: fast but outdated.
my gaming pc build! BEAST OF A THING so fast and has a 960 and 16gb ram. School computers? 2gb ram.
Stay away from apple and save up and build your computers.
I agree.
ryanro rooney I do it is just a sbad
+yotoprules Huh, how come in development most people prefer macs?
probE466 most people hate macs. why do you think nearly everyone uses windows? plus linux is becoming more popular
yotoprules Your answer made litteraly no sense. Linux sucks for everyday use on a desktop. Most people in dev use macs because of the unix integration and it just works.
my marketing teacher couldn't stress enough how big of a D bag apple is
If the world of technology were a boat on the water, Apple would be the hidden anchor dragging along the bottom.
They invented bendable iPhone XD
+Jordan Ong PaperPhone was the first Smartphone with a flexible display.
dats da most horrible idea ever. crackable 😱😱😱
Joseph Davis Not really. If the phone is able to bend without any major damage being done, then the screen should be reasonably strong.
And removing the headphone jack! Real visionaries huh?
@@MybeautifulandamazingPrincess not actually Motorola was faster
Extremely good video quality for 2012
All these Apple fanboys commenting here is really sad. Apple may have perfected many things, but they didn't create any technology that didn't exist before.
where do you see apple fanboys?
They've never really claimed to... Since Jobs' return in '97 they have always had the approach of taking existing ideas and just doing them "better" than anyone else, whilst also heavily involving design in the process to make them more of a pleasure to use.
luke timothy
I know they never claimed to, but people think they did. A lot of people consider Steve Jobs to be an inventor, which is ridiculous.
They've actually claimed to have invented touch phone in commercials. Check out the first commercials for the very first iPhone.
Apple has created a new world record "most products taken credit for"
Haha I like how Apple 9 was a mess :) and they made it by them self.
ARidingLifestyle They invented one thing, removing the headphone jack... 😂
@
My beautiful and amazing Princess
I am sad to say there weren't the first company to do that my sony Ericsson from 2009 had no headphone jack and needed a adapter
They were the first to create 64-bit computers, the first computer display with colors, music streaming........... yea. They have invented stuff.
No I'm pretty sure stealing constitutes the absence of consent.
2023 and this video is still relevant, also kinda sad as I loved this format of Tek Syndicate.. good times.
I know! They invented nothing!
Right..
Sorry dude, that accolade belongs to the IBM Simon.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smartphone
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_Simon
As for the iPad, well as Tek Syndicate already points out, the first tablet was the Gridpad as featured in this video. So both your points there are invalidated.
Do some research before posting comments like that.
kpearson240 taking the trash out in style.
Such as:
I really, really like your comment. It's the best comment on this video(!)
So really if you're not going to use proper grammar then how the hell are the rest of us going to know?
Was there touchescreen on the pc tablet? Otherwise, so far you are the only person who has proof that apple didn't invent things in the comments.
I just made this comment to piss you off and see how much of a lowlife you are, the fact that you responded makes this theory all the more plausible
Kieran Reynolds
Your scientific research skills are excellent and your deductive reasoning should be taught at school.
Didn't they invented the first Mobile phone with a non (easily) replaceable battery so it dies right after the end of warranty?
Wow, there are so many Apple lovers here. xD
Apple invented the Smartphone without a headphone jack
I have an old samsung that has no earphone jack
The ironic thing, Im watching this through an iMac
LOL
Me too :)
Me third.
Gray Fox Me neither.
Me too...
They invented creating a stylus after laughing at companies for using a stylus
yes because people like you said apple sucks because you have to use your fingers to ues your smartphone. it is why no smartphone comes with a stylus and you have to buy it as an extra.
Reasons why people hate Apple :
Can't afford it
Not sure if joking, trolling, or stupid
I wish I was rich enough to not care about reduced functionality
Lol I can't afford a 1000 piece if shut , but I can afford a 600 dollar badass windows gaming pc.
Why pay more for less?
Chris Nelvin I made a PC for a friend for $600 and plays Watch Dogs , Battlefield 4 Ultra with high graphics and for 600 bucks u can get a lenovo or any other type of laptop and it will run as fast or faster than an imac from 2008
dude this video has nearly 2 million views, wonder what you think of it now?
I listen to it as podcast hoenstly
Samsung makes the retina display and made the processor of the first iphones...
jordy minten asus is better
***** not really 3rd party run at 900p 60fps and exclusives 1080p 60fps but where is use the 4k would be for the video and movies
They never have and never will. But there Kings at Marketing and Hype.
Think! Decide!
SBF.
apple invented the priciest company ever.
Build a Hackintosh. Best of both worlds.
Exactly. Hell, dual boot it with windows 7.
Sorry, don't want to polish a turd.
halfhalo33 Are you talking shit about macs or PCs?
Apple invented the first Multi-touch mouse! :)
the "TouchStream Mini" was not a mouse, it was a keyboard with a multi-touch gesture surface. It was not a mouse.cdn.macrumors.com/article/2007/11/01/frontlp_300.jpg
Buying companies for patent; isn't that what Google has done with Motorola??
ProDesignHd Yes, but I believe that Google never really needed to spend that huge sum of money to protect their patents if Apple wasn't doing these ridiculous lawsuits. No flame here, just my opinion. :)
Sean Moir , do you actually know what you are talking about? This is the Xerox Parc mouse www.google.ca/search?q=Xerox+PARC+multi-touch+mouse&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=uAD0UpL1DeHMsQSM3ICYDg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=2560&bih=1277#q=Xerox+PARC+mouse&spell=1&tbm=isch&facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=Urpkh0jVtmPJiM%253A%3BwCCKQS-_VV4xgM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww-sul.stanford.edu%252Fmac%252Fprimary%252Fimages%252Fstarm6.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww-sul.stanford.edu%252Fmac%252Fprimary%252Fimages%252Fstarm6.html%3B600%3B408
and it was not "multi-touch" at all. so how come was it "another mashup of the mouse".
Steve jobs is the type of guy to order a sandwich at subway then buy a package of ham in some other store put it on the sandwich then sue subway for selling that sandwich
except the subway would have been a shack that didn't know how to make sandwhiches.
Great Video, other youtubers is afride to talk about this...
This is an epic video......Apple, you've been OWNED!
***** My god...
I miss the glory days of Tek Syndicate.
At the same time nobody claims that Samsung is inventing anything.
Yeah, they don't go screaming to the world about how they made everything, so no hate :P
Samsung is still making parts for the iPhone.
***** LOL U JUST DISSED THE KID XD
The idea of patenting *everything*.
This video is my 1 argument for ppl who say Apple invents everything.
*****
Yet the video does provide not very accurate data, does it?
US Patent Law defines invention like this: a new, useful process, machine, improvement, etc., that did not exist previously and that is recognized as the product of some unique intuition or genius, as distinguished from ordinary mechanical skill or craftsmanship.

They have a patent on this connector for electronic devices, thus rice cookers are not included. In their press release from 2006, Apple did not mention to being the first to implement magnetic properties with power adapters, but according to the definition of invention, it is an invention.

(patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.htm&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=8,616,748.PN.&OS=PN/8,616,748&RS=PN/8,616,748)
• legacy free PC: I guess they had to stretch, when they only got moot points
Now they go off on lawsuits.
Thx for the essay changed my mind. But still apple is pretty manipulative cant deny that
Respected Fella You know the video was a send in competition? these are viewer submitted.. so the whole premise of your essay is kinda blown.
Smiley Flower
Why is it blown?
Because the moderators did not do their own research and perpetuated lies?
Respected Fella I only skimmed it, but this isnt apple saying they invented stuff, it's people saying apple invented stuff.
This is one of my favourite classic Tek Syndicate videos. Classic Logan (blazer), Classic Wendell (monitors).
Touch screen was a original patent from Nokia !
This is why I like Apple, but as you said in the video, they should change a lot of the things they do.
ever heard of virtualbox?
I partially agree. With emulation you can't get good expierence (You can with Hackintosh). Not all the software in Windows is better (What its true is that you have almost everything with Windows). And anyways as a DJ and producer the MacBook Pro is the perfect laptop choice. I have Traktor, Logic and FL Studio (Wtih bootcamp) working well with a good battery life.
***** Mac's are PC's.
Samsung Galaxy phones had NFC tap to pay for 4 years before Apple came out with Apple Pay...an NFC tap to pay service.
hahahaha loser... remember the mac is better pc sucks Comercial? look it up dumbass
Literally all inventions are just combinations of ideas to make something new. By your restrictions nobody has invented anything ever, everyone's just 'making new recipes'
Keep crying crapple fans.
Hi I'm an apple fan and you a androibich
No, I am a PC and I can play more Battlefield 4 and the rest of the games on Steam and Origin. Can you?
Natalie Whittaker crapple=ishit +izombia
Jorge Reyes you can actually run BF4 and most games on a Mac but PC is better still.
I don't know. Most games only work on Windows platform, but Valve is working on that for their upcoming Steam Machines.
2,400 people are butthurt because their favorite company lied to them. Awwh :(
Like most organizations which sell electronics, they may not be inventors. They are really mostly engineers. And they really are way way overboard for the lawsuits. I admit I really like thier engineering. But I really hate the way they abuse the legal system.
How do you come to the conclusion, that Apple is abusing the legal system?
They have gone to lengths of basing their efforts in countries where tax is 0 and they have been milking profits from everywhere. You would know this if you were a Adult
Every company does that.
Indecisive Fella If you look it up apple has patent another company.
Microsoft and gopro.
Im really pissed
Jared Chong Say what now? (Seriously, I don't understand what you're trying to say. Please clarify.)
They invented the removal of a headfone jack
Wow just wow
“Courage” LOL
i think they did invent chocolate cake.............and the word i
my IQ went down after reading this comment.
Is that why the cake is a lie?
Cisco owned the name of the iPhone before they sold it to Apple.
jack christensen Sold, or demanded that it belonged to them? :P
Sold, search up lynksis iPhone, they released products under that name.
Unibody? that's been in cars forever
No they didn't but they made a lot of things 100x better.
Ravenbutt
i have to fully agree with that, the only goal of apple is to rip people off. they make tons of money, but all of that comes from other companies inventions
Yeah, by ripping people off and claiming that they did it first!
While on Apple's side, stop being people who know nothing about tech only 5 years ago and saying: omg appl invented the apple headfones tho
i don't think suing everyone that helped them mash there products together would be considered "doing it well"
yes they invented the iPhone, iPad, iPod, Mac and Apple TV
we gotta badass over here!
***** Display Pic = YES
wrong the phone came first the iPad was yes because of the newton iPod was an mp3 player and computers like ibm came first apple tv is a computer on your tv and one thing came out in 1999
*****
actually no cos ive got a samsung galaxy s4
DropItLikeItsSloth What significance does this even have to the convo?
They haven't invented anything really, but they have made it more mainstream
nope not true the xerox star workstation was the first computer to have a grafical display it was made by Xerox Alto and Xerox Star
Apple may not have created anything but they sure did change the game
What about the Lightning charge cord
there we go
+ManSlaughter EDM Wasn't mentioned in the video because it didn't exist until a month after the video.
+Snappy They changed what? nothing...look at Samsungs Air view, TSP Hovering, HRS..etc...
+ManSlaughter EDM Look at Samsungs Air view, TSP hovering, hrs...apple has no features that could compete with Samsungs features
