Removing Exhaust Studs & Re-Threading Stripped Exhaust Hole - (Helicoil Kit Review)

In a previous video I had to remove the head off of my D15B7 to try and fix my exhaust leak so check that video out if your interested on how to remove the head and everything I’ve done so far.
On todays video the civic has some seized exhaust studs as well as a stripped exhaust stud hole. I went ahead and tried to remove the studs WITHOUT causing any more problems……
I went ahead and used a bunch of techniques to remove the seized studs BUT only 1 technique to fix a stripped stud hole. I have not installed the head as of yet since im still waiting on some new gaskets and am researching ways to clean the engine block/head of the previous head gasket WITHOUT damaging the surface.

@@projectgoodspeed that's the best way. U got engine apart so def do the gaskets and maybe clean up valves as well. When u take it slow things usually work out better. My d series is a tank and I kinda want it to blow so I can b swap lol

I don't think the threading tap is damaged. they look that way when new.
