    Hello brother, I just bought a 92 eg hatch vx model. I have ac but it’s not blowing cold. I already recharged it and everything but it still not blowing cold air. Can you give me some tips of what it might cause for it not blowing cold air?

    • @projectgoodspeed
      @projectgoodspeed วันที่ผ่านมา

      @k20eh2_ I meaan…. I can try, but im not really a mechanic so idk how accurate ill be. Lol After doing research on the AC system to install it myself, the main thing i can think of is ATLEAST one of your ac components isnt doing its job properly. (Expansion valve, compressor, drier, condenser, evaporator, or AC fan). The whole “cold air” process is a cycle that requires all of these parts to turn the refrigerant in the system into different states of matter, liquid or gas. With different temperatures, hot or cold. The compressor compresses the refrigerant into a dense hot liquid, it then flows to the condenser to cool it down but still remain a dense liquid. It then flows into the cabin where the expansion valve sort of turns the cooler liquid into a cool gas by pressurizing it. It then flows through the evaporator causing IT to get really cold because of the cold refrigerant gas running through it. And once the fan kicks in, blowing air through the fins of the evaporator, the end result SHOULD be you getting “cold air” out of the vents. BASED on this basic understanding, if you’re not getting “cold air” the first step id check is the compressor. Check the resistance of the compressor just to make sure the clutch is activating like its supposed to, i have a video on that on my channel. Thats probably gunna be the only thing you can check on that part but if the internal components of the compressor are faulty it really wont tell you much….sooo yeah. However in your case i would focus in the condenser. Since its job is too cool down the compressed hot liquid this might be a good place to start. Check the condenser itself for any cracks or dent or damage. Also check to see if your fan is kicking on with the appropriate resistance (ohm meter). Also check the relays are working and you dont have a blown fuse like i did.(also on my channel) After i installed my AC it was a pain to figure out why it wasnt working properly soo i know how you feel but like i said its a whole process that works TOGETHER…. AND without being able to inspect these parts especially cause the system itself is pressurized theres really not much i can recommend. Hope that atleast helps a little bit thoo. Take care👍

    Bought my 2023 Corolla hatchback in May on 2023, drive full time Uber with it, now it's got 57,000 miles on it. No problem whatsoever. One advice, don't trust that 10,000 mile oil change the dealer talks about, i do my own oil change every 5k miles, and rotate my tires at the same time. Still on the original tires, but since im an aggressive driver, changed the front brake pads at 40k. But if you are a smooth driver they will last you 60k easy. Great car, super reliable and surprisingly fun to drive and very comfortable. I tested every aspect of it as an Uber driver. Very smart buy

    Love the vids from PR, They helped me a lot in understanding the A/C on this cars thx to them I got it working on my 95 EG sedan DX and did the Cabin Air filter upgrade using a 98 EK hatchback, at the moment I'm thinking of trying to upgrade the condenser to a full size one because I can only get it to(night)-60° (day)-70° degrees and my system is charged correctly but idk if I'm expecting much I'm used to my 95 K1500 that's always at 40° with no issues also I wanted to add that I had to eliminate my A/C thermostat because it was randomly turning off the A/C until I would shut off the car and restart again with outwaiting and I changed it from a 94 and it did the same thing sow I just took the Blue/Red, Yellow/White and connected them sow the only way the A/C turns off is by me pressing the A/C button, Also the A/C button in my case sometimes sent the ground sow the signal to the relay and sometimes it didn't but the light would always come on and I found out if you pushed a bit harder than usual it would always work, I took the Low side pipe that goes to the cabin connecting to the evaporator and got it added with bong for a low pressure switch from 2011 ford escape and just spliced it before the ground (signal) goes to the high pressure switch, Finally I redid the Relays with only 1 60 amp relay and extended a bit the cables like the Condenser fan blue/black wire and did a little hole sow I could hide mostly all the cables and the relay itself.

      @pm-qc5on Nice broo! I spent years without AC lol i feel yah! 👍 So from what i understand anything with refrigerant running through it needs to be year specific. Basically 92-93 use different refrigerant than 94-95 civics. However when it came to these assemblies they kinda are not year specific. I have used an evaporator from a 98 ek civic and this evaporator is from a Honda crv. Sooo as far as that goes basically, if it fits the assembly unit in the dash ive found 92-2000 indash parts are pretty compatible for hondas lol

    There's no way this card turned into a movie one. By the ways, my dad has his own card like this, but white color and the hood is black.

    You smell it because the fluid was leaking & the smell coming in the vents but you can just pressure wash the bay maybe underneath to & remove the seats & rent a rub doctor & shampoo & detail clean the seats leave the vents blowing with the windows open for a few hours smell should go away the seats are still good just need a good clean

      @projectgoodspeed หลายเดือนก่อน

      @budgetbuild914 Their is no smell, thats the troublesome part. If i could smell it i could clean it, thing is when i did clean it the vents still gave me headaches. the seats might be okay but idk yet we’ll see

    Check Your AC Pressure Switch, They Go Out And Will Not Kick On Your Compressor.

      @Iseekoutthetruth That was the only part i didn’t know how to check tbh. Lol But the tech was able to get the compressor to turn on soo i “assumed” it was fine. Turns out my A/C compressor coil went out so the clutch couldn’t engage. Its fixed tho, thanks👌
