Seeing DC Sports stuff gives me all the nostalgia from back in the day. On a different note, have you guys seen the rear air vents mod going around? I feel like that is something you guys would tackle. Would love to see it anyway.
Deeper exhaust notes create more drone. I have a 2.5" catback for my 2.4L Accord Coupe 6MT and the resonator droned crazy due to the manual gearing. I swapped in a Vibrant Resonator and it got rid of majority of the drone and is not as bad anymore.
Sounds great, before hitting boost it sounds very similar to the DC Sports Catback I had on my 2005 RSX Type-S back in the 2000s. Loved the sound, but that drone slowly got to me over time without me realizing it until I sold the car! I also had DC Sports on my 1997 Integra GSR in the 90s, it didn't have any drone on that platform, they seemed to change their formula a bit, but it was a bit too quiet on the Integra. That deep sound is amazing though, other exhuast companies remove drone but cut out all that deepness in the process. Hard to get the right balance especially since everyone has different tastes.

What is the 0-60 after all of the tuning and modifications? Which mods are most worth it? I live in New York and am confused about what is and isnt legal in regards to the exhaust and am unsure if its worth upgrading the intercooler for the sake of driving during road trips in hotter states. I am quite new to learning about the possible mods that can be done on cars. I do wish that Acura offered an OEM front lip option. I have the cf spoiler, diffuser, and side spoilers and love the way they look but the front end looks too simple and elegant (imo) compared to the rear due to those accessories. A subtle, non-obtrusive front lip would work so well to fix that.
Which exhaust do you like better, DC Sports vs Mugen on your Integra? Just wonder. DC Sports is nice sounds and performance for 90’s Honda, Acura, Nissan, etc. I am glad that DC Sports is still offering the performance for Civic Si and Integra now. 😁👍
@@ahcgarage yea I commented a bit early after hearing it in the garage and the drive by outside. It definitely sounds good from the cabin under acceleration. The drone would be the only real concern left. Glad to see DC still in the game.
Aside from one car mag getting really slow times.. They've pulled a 15.0 flat with the car bone stock. And anywhere from 6.6 to 7.2 0-60. With his mods (330lb tq) he should be in the low 14s
This is the same set up I’m going to run on my si. I also got the dc sports front pipe to replace my PrL front pipe. The PrL pipe is too large and I can hear it hitting something when I make turns. The dc sports is a little small so it should fit better.
Damn I really like the sound of this exhaust and I think it looks great. Really considering this for my Integra but wondering about the drone. I usually always have music playing while Im driving so do you think the drone would be less noticeable in that case?

Lots of 1.5T honda engines blowing out their headgaskets. Is it safe to push the car this far with a 1.5T? I know you guys are pros and make it safe as possible but its more like a mechanic issue right? Let me know!
Just checking in with an update on my experience with this exhaust. I hate it. It drones so badly that my teeth feel like they are rattling out of my head. Also every single slip joint leaks and no matter how it’s positioned or tightened there is no way to fix it. I will be switching out to something else really quick.

With the front pipe it adds 5hp. All the gains are seen on the downpipe.

I think it sounds great!! Built Honda motors (turbo) perform better with the 3” more power and a lot louder.

Drones not bad with stock downpipe. Very easily hold a normal conversation.
