How do you upload your Tidal track list other than Serato? Is there a program that extracts song list created by me to place on hard drive.. Tidal to Serato has time breaks and shuts down :(
Rekordcloud is now Lexicon. Also a huge feature you over looked is that you can import a word document or a wedding playlist a client gives you and it will find the songs in your music directory!!
@@hostilesavage4299 and online digging feels so alien. Lot of cool sites for that kind of mentality and way of doing your thing but I’m just so deeply rooted in that yardsale/fleamarket/bargainbin sale scene and just grew up with that. Analog caveman elbowgrease milkcrate djs still doing it!
@@douchebag4484 That’s the point of it really. Everyone has to make money. It’s just the times changing that’s all. One day, DJs will look back and go “You’d bring a $2000 laptop to a gig? Yikes! Pfff google just knows what to play because they collected data for decades and control us.”
tbh virtual dj's steam separation is not bad at all, some bleed but for most tracks it works just fine live, thats one completely free option for you guys (although paid if you want to use a controller for more then 10 mins at a time)
Great video. I love videos like these. I would like to see one on your recommendations on business-related (CRMs, project management & Payment, ETC...) websites, Apps, or anything else that you use on a daily basis as well. Thank you for making these videos and keep them coming.
FINALLY AN USEFUL VIDEO, THANK YOU, IS THERE A WEBSITE THAT HELP YOU CATALOG AND ORGANIZE YOUR MUSIC, SOME TIME I'M IN A HURRY AND DOWNLOAD A BUNCH OF MUSIC AND FORGET TO ORGANIZE IT SO IT HAS BECOME A MESS ANY IDEAS.
Even though I've been aware of many of these, I think this was awesome & can be so helpful esp if this ends up being a mini ongoing series 😀 Like once a month post updates with new ones, with people's comments
Damn I am a DJ from the 8-track, cassette tapes, 100% vinyl 100 plus milk crates era. Wow DJ's have it SO EASY these days. Find any song instantly, match bpm automatically, harmonic key suggestions, dj mix set compilations, I cant go on it hurts,,, Real DJ's will always destroy computer dj's because we had to learn HOW to move the crowd.
Not really man, the art is in the artist not in the medium. You remind me of the old rockers back in the day who said hip hop wasn't real music because they weren't singing and house was a joke because they weren't using real instruments. Talent always rises to the top, whatever the artform.
Your absolutely right!... But technology is dope too, doesn't mean you gotta give up your skills to dumb it down, I can get busy on a controller and barely use any of the features on the hardware or in the software, and still rock a crowd... All about the music and how you slip in and out of songs to keep the music flowin, end of the days that's all people care about, that aint DJs from that era like us
"Wow, look at the useful and interesting ways technology has evolved a hobby I'm passionate about!" "Back in my day everything was harder and less accessible, therefore I'm better than you young whipper snappers!" You're the second one
Soundiiz!!!! A must in the streaming DJ world!!! Also Dropbox/Google drive/one drive!!! so you can back up your music. That should have been 1st bro! No music no party! C’mon all us DJs know that. What good is a gun with no bullets🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Crosfader It's great that you enable all this, I am really fascinated by all of this, but unfortunately, as almost all of you forget that not all of us understand, know English 🙄 Therefore, If you made it possible in my Polish language, it would really make it possible for many people like me to use your really good program offers, etc. I will be very grateful for including my attention in your offers 🤔 Best regards and thank you for being 😉🤝👌👍👍👍

What an outstanding video. This is packed with great resource sites. Thanks Crossfader! 😀
Man thanks for watching
Amazing video helps me alot as I'm tryna know the basics of djing 😁
I feel like a caveman, started digging for records at fleamarkets and places and still do that. For me the digging is a big part of this culture.
Sadly there is hardly anymore places to dig in some areas...

All this shit just feels like paid promotion getting thrown at your face, never get that in record shops

Wow I paused the video to look at 1001 Tracklist. AMAZING. I’ve been dying for something like this!!
