- Weird, wonderful, and freaky. The creatures of Earth, one billions years in the future, come to life in this fantastic addition for Numenera!
** NOTE **
I purchased my copy of the Ninth World Bestiary, I do mention getting “Godforsaken” from Monte Cook Games as a review copy, this is why the paid promotion box is checked.

Hooray random encounters! Finally a use for the boulder d100.
That sucker is DANGEROUS. Like, for real, not in game.
I know I keep saying it, but I really need to grab Numenera. This looks great.
It’s a lot of fun.
The silhouette drawings to put the size into context is brilliant, and I really like the idea of the behavior section in the combat/tactics. That kind of stuff is so helpful.
Great video, as always!
Thanks!
Ninth World Bestiary 3 is tailored for Numenera D&D, I cant remember if NWB2 is, though... ...ah, bugger it, I'll check...
OK!
NWB2 is for the original Numenera Corebook...
But NWB3 has an index in the back that lists ALL the creatures, and what books to find them in; including updating the page & book number from Original Numenera to Numenera D&D... so if you have all 3 Ninth World Bestiaries... #3 has the updated table!
There we go... :)
Hey, I’m kinda confused here. In my video I mention call outs referencing the original Numenera core book. I’d like to see these updated with references to Numenera Discover/Destiny.
Is that what you’re riffing off of, or am I missing what you’re saying.
How does it compare to the fiend folio ?
Hard to compare, given the systems are so different and I wasn’t running a table when I first saw Fiend Folio.
