This reminds me when I special ordered my 2018 GT Mustang. Since my GT will never see a track, I had no need for a performance package, saving me at least $10k. It arrived with 3 miles on it. The salesman had it parked on the showroom floor when I arrived. I put $20k as a down payment and finished paying it off last month. It now has 25k miles.
That is a beautiful Car. I got a 2016 GT myself and have contemplated trading in for a Special Mustang like a Mach 1 or GT350 but just can't seem to let it go. I got just a little over 13K miles on it and it is still feels and drives brand new.
Mad money for those machs. Keeping my 5.3 liter fully forged 04 mach1. Drive it and enjoy it. Don’t make it a garage queen. Good luck with it. Love the color.
The transmission feels much different Vs GT’s. Definitely very tight feeling transmission. I got rid of my cup 2 tires immediately. Trim lining, and the rocks flying everywhere was definitely too much. Michelin pilot sport tires are the way to go. Great looking colour combination!

Fighter Jet Gray is my favorite color. I found a 2021 for $46k in this color, but my 2014 GT convertible is paid for, and we decided to have it painted Fighter Jet Gray.

Technically I didn't buy the car from Ford, the previous owner did but he never registered it. I have the letter but it is for him. That is ok, I have done plenty of track time.
If you are going to track the car invest in a set of wheels for the Cup 2s, I put the Sport 4s on my Mach 1 before it left the dealership and love them. I just returned from the Mach 1 Track Attack in Charlotte and they have 4Ss on all the cars, it was a mostly a wet track and those tires were amazing in the wet and dry conditions, we’ll worth the money.
I have the 6spd, it will break in. I went to 285’s in the front, 325’s in the rear, no tramlining. I have the same color, did the Steeda X-pipe. Sounds even better (if that’s possible).
Nice car! I have a red Mach1 just like yours. The first thing I did was sell my cup two tires. If you replace them with Michelin Pilot Sports 4S you will notice a major difference. Enjoy!

I don't know why anybody in their right mind would buy this car with an automatic, when the Tremec is such a sweet manual transmission. You lose so much of the driver involvement driver engagement and fun factor with an automatic. I've located a used 2022 base without the handling package since I don't track my cars very often. They are asking around $67,000 CDN with about 8,500kms, is that a good deal bad deal? Love that fighter jet Gray. Enjoy.
Beautiful car. Congrats! Yeah, those Cup 2 tires look the business and are great on track, but they do tramline on city roads pretty bad. I have the Pilot Sports on my 2019 Bullitt, and they're a perfect combination of performance and daily livability.
I had a chance to buy a 2010 GT 500 convertible in dark blue when it was new. $60K! Seems like a good deal today. Sure wish I'd bought it. The new 24 Mustangs look pretty sweet. However, the color choices leave a lot to be desired.
We did not. We didn't get the handling package, so I understand we won't have the attachment for the wing or the extra splitter for the front. But the track attack paper we didn't get. Ford said ALL Mach 1 owners are eligible for the track day. We got a owners manual and that's it.
You’re going to want to do some splash guards and fender lips on front or you will throw rocks on doors and quarter panels. Necessary on Mach 1’s with handling package. I did mine right after I got it. Mine is eruption green: Congrats on the car!
My 2019 Bullitt had the PS4S Michelin Tires but still Tramlined, so apparently the Cup 2 tires aren’t the sole or actual cause. Car and Driver did a review of the Bullitt and also the Mach1 and complained about the Tramlining. Apparently Ford solved the problem with the 2020 GT350R with an engineering modification but didn’t fix it for the Mach1. Car and Driver described it in a review of the 20 GT350R. Maybe Steeda has a fix, as described by another reader in this commentary. Cup 2 tires do pick up everything. As you describe. Good luck!

Mustangs SUCK MAN….Camaro hands down trump it…handling/ride/control 110% better!!! …$$$ wise WAY BETTER…honestly 6th generation is a beautiful designed car vs any Mustang-and quick, powerful and driving a 6th GEN SS and up is AMAZING

I forget what it looks like stock. I have a '21 FJG HP. Yes, swap out the Cup 2s and the tramlining and rock throwing goes away instantly.

I have a had several over the years myself, first one being a 1989 fox body. Yes I agree, these are quite the amazing machines!
Check out the Steeda G-Trac Brace to help out with the tramlining. I added one to my GT350. It made a huge difference. Very easy to install as well.

Steeda has an inexpensive product to take away the tramlining. It works like a champ.
Put more air in front tires to help tram line. It’s hot and miss on pressure

Drive in Sport + and throttle response is better. Track mode is not as responsive
So true, I noticed that. I think it is so you have a more adjustable throttle on track, something I can appreciate.
@@turnbullgarage88 Yes , seems to be for more linear throttle response. On the street I use Sport+ which is more fun.
The only thing the exhaust needs is long tubes and an H pipe. Other than that leave it stock.

I own a GT350...but Shit that thing is sweet!! Im torn on which one looks better. The handling package is a must on the Mach 1's.....Love it
