Great video. This was my first motorcycle when I was a kid. My father brought home one of these when I was 11 or 12. I rode that bike from the time I woke up until the sun went down! Same color and everything. This video brought back a flood of memories! Nice job on the restoration!
Same but mine was redish orange .Rode it 11 to 16 years of age every day till I got a car with a big back seat and a girl friend . Most fun you can have as a kid growing up in the mountains of south eastern Ky .
One of my good friends had this bike back in 1972. We were 13. I only road it once or twice, but I still remember how much fun I had on this bike. Dad wouldn't let me get one.
A girl that lived down the street from me had one of these when I was young. Hers was 1973 or 74. It was orange and black. I was lucky enough to get a new 1977 Honda XR75. So many kids around where I lived had motorcycles, back when growing up was a little dangerous but a ton of fun. Back when we stayed outside from as soon as we woke up till we were made to come in. 🇺🇸😎
The good, good old days for sure! I talk about it with my buds sometimes, reminiscing. I don't ever remember stopping to eat, just going all day long. Miss the hell out of it!👍
Had an 82 dt 80 Enduro in yellow self mixing two stroke never turned a bolt on it (other than breaks and oil changes ) and ran the dog outta it for many hard miles as a young boy on my grandfather's farm ....was an absolute bullet proof little machine
My twin brothers and my sister had three of the coppersand ones... Little screamers. I got my sister's and they had to put a Bassini exhaust pipe pipe on it and it was even faster! We had access to an abandoned airport runway! Paradise... And over 1500 acres of farm and woods and swamps! Awesome childhood.
Not for the amount they gonna ask for it...watch...$4k. Go get a brand new '21 Yamaha TTR 125LE or Kawasaki KLX 140RL . Really! Nostalgia doesn't help ya stranded on trails.
my co-worker Nick Walker Has one of these 1972 Yamaha Mini Enduro 2-stroke JT-1 same color But The Seat was Black And It Was So Brown And Rusty and Very Smokey When He Drives It To Work and Anywhere
Ride a wheelie Sr!! Yeaaa so are you asking like $4k for the lil Yamaha!? Nice bike we totally appreciate the expertise but some your prices are friggin nuts man.
What we invest in them is ridiculous. Comments like yours are why we stopped taking new clients. Civilians have no idea the work involved and cost to restore a bike. We auction them off so sometimes we lose money or break even

My best friend had one of these in the mid '70s when we were kids. I was jealous, as I was riding a 50 c.c. Broncco Warrior.
Bought one of these in 79’ for....$20.
Rings were rusted to the cylinder, and yes...I broke them free and rode the hell out of it...😜
