It's a Great truck, I got my 2.7L (red hot color) 2 years ago and it's running great with 30K miles (just added the factory fog lights and replaced the tires for a all terrain ones). I also used to travel and work without any problem.
Glad to see the 2.7 is doing good for you!
Thank you! It’s going great!
Love the truck brother, I have the exact same truck just in a different color , mine doesn’t have the rally stripes, but they look absolutely awesome, I’ve had mine for almost 2 years now , bought it brand new in February of 2022 , I’ve had zero issues with it and absolutely love my 2.7 , anyway love the videos bro keep em coming 👍👍
Appreciate you, Ricardo. Thanks for watching and commenting! I love my 22. These stripes were custom done by someone who works vinyl. If you would like something similar, I’d start with a local body shop and see if they have any recommendations on anybody local that does that kind of work. You may be surprised how affordable it is!
@@jeremsgarage oh wow thanks for the info bro , I will look into that because your truck looks really good, I really thought it was factory, those stripes really pop man , again really cool looking truck !
Hello! If possible, please post more videos of the GM, Silverado 1500 2.7l, 4-cylinder truck pulling an RV trailer.
Hey Jerem! Nice vid of the fam. Thanks for sharing.
I installed my Sumos a couple of weeks back, in my 23 1500 LT 4x4. I used the spacer that they came with for that preload approach. I haven't towed my trailer yet due to the winter season and all, but will in a few months i would imagine. Just in my daily driving I have noticed a stiffer rear suspension, not too bad...but noticeable. I may remove the spacers later on after I get a couple of tows in. I am excited to see how much the Sumos help.
Cheers@!
Hi Chuppocobra! I hope you are doing well! Yes, if the Sumo's are too close to the rear axle when empty or you hit some rough roads (even with the proper space) they will be a little rougher riding.
I made a video about my SumoSprings today. Here is a link. th-cam.com/video/Rr8BzwVpXxU/w-d-xo.html
Let me know how your experience when you tow. I hope they work as well for you as the do for me.
1transmission is too hot ?
Not at all. These transmissions run 190-200 empty, towing, etc. working it can get to 215 degrees. No problem.
I forgot to ask. How is the stopping power going down a long mountain hwy. I found the breaks grossly underpowered and had gone to complete fade and caused us to roll through the stop sign at the bottom of the exit. Good thing it was late and there was no traffic. We ordered a new 2500HD LTZ 4x4 6.6L DuraMax with Allison 6 with downhill and RV Package. Now I push a button on the end of the gear selector and rarely use the breaks. Our Alpenlite 28 RB weighs in at 5500 dry. We don't haul water because we only go to RV Parks/ Campgrounds to save weight. I just can't fathom, a 2.7L hauling 10K or, holding it back. What's the mileage while hauling?
Hi GPSJayDog22, It does pretty good for what it is. I have some footage of this truck going downhill. It is the otherside of this video: th-cam.com/video/wzE8XXNFiUw/w-d-xo.html
But the audio was really really bad. I am going to make he video though and do a voice over. Basically, I had to help it some with braking, but I didn't have to ride the brakes. The engine braking is not as good as say a large V8, that is an undeniable fact. But it is good enough for my 9k lb travel trailer.
Water meter key
Yes sir!!
looks like a Well shut off tool to me.
You got it!
Pitless
Correct. There were no pits in this video.
2.7 L piece of shit. and im a GENERAL MOTORS GUY. Why no 5.3 or 6.2?????????
Right! I bought the 2.7l to replace my 5.3l it’s a way better engine.
@jeremsgarage I'm angry at GM btw😔 pretty soon we're gonna have 1.9Liters on dually trucks
@@348frank348 if they are 1000 hp that will be okay. 😂. I doubt they will do that in the HD trucks since they are regulated a little differently. But ya never know. Thanks for watching and commenting!
