My hearing is impaired and although I can hear some sounds ok, sometimes musical sounds and words become muffled or garbled. Using visual AND auditory senses allowed me to enjoy this phenomenal Christmas classic in a way that renewed my spirit. What a blessing! Hail King Jesus!

I'm a born and raised Southern Baptist, daughter of a deacon and found this to be very funny. Monty Python bit and all. Some people in some religions sometimes take things a bit too seriously. All the churches I have been in always showed their love for God but had fun in sharing God with others. ❤🤟🙏😇
I was the kid whose parents never went to church. I walked in off the street and started attending church. They were very very serious about what needs to be taken seriously but so saw the value of knowing when to make it fun.
I know God created humor (tasteful and non hurtful) for relief of tension! He knows just when to let me go on a hunt for my reading glasses when they're on top of my head for instance 😁❗
at the end when they were hitting their head? he was most likely saying something in Latin, and the purpose of them hitting their head was a reference to the medieval (though still done in some places) practice of self-flagellation. it was a form of penance to show the sorrowfulness of their sins
Try using closed caption or play it a little slower by adjusting the playback speed in the settings. It says have a merry Christmas and happy New year. It just don't make much sense the way they had the signs

Or the many who caught this on TH-cam, many positive comments. How about the deaf who long to hear the words. They can feel the music, and now they can see the words matching the note. I cried at the end, like many others before me. Hallelujah someone had the foresight and hearing God's call to do this.
As a Catholic I find this disrespectful to the Church and to the monks who choose to live a humble life and give up so much to follow God. Also Catholic monks have some of the best singing I've ever heard. I love Gregorian Chants. It's a shame people poke fun of Christians who give so much to follow Christ.

Other things just make you swear and curse. When you're chewing on life's gristle. Don't grumble, give a whistle. Very clever, but I have serious reservations about this presentation. The word of God is not to be trivialised. It is not a plaything to entertain us. This presentation makes a mockery of the holiness and the glory of God. To make the words into a gimmick to make us laugh is exactly the opposite of what they mean. We should have ended up on our knees in awesome wonder and praise.
Scripture states “God laughs.” Did you forget those verses? Trivialized? Mocking God’s Word? Do you know their hearts? Listen to young children singing Bible songs with hand-clapping and motions. Are they trivializing God’s Word?
And the deaf should not enjoy great music from great composers like Handle? Even God has a sense of humor. This high and mighty and better than thou is wrong.
