Im a Mormon but grew up in the bible belt of the south and one the great things about being a Christian.. While we may worship in different ways and may believe the doctrines of the gospel a little bit differently... We are ALL Christians... We all worship the same God! He is our father and we are all brothers and sisters and we will all be together as a family in the next life.

I sang this in high shool and one of my most precious memories was when our choral director invited anyone from the audience to join us on stage to sing. My grandfather, Hayo, came up and stood beside me to sing. Listening to him sing this beautiful music with me will be a treasured memory forever and ever!

I was overwhelmed by the sound of God's children singing praises to our Savior with such passion that I felt myself slip to a place that I knew existed but have never felt the intensity of the Spirit that dwells there. You can not watch this video without having a profound witness of the divinity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I want to put this video on loop mode to play it again and again to continue feeling this heightened awareness of the Holy Ghost, of I could internalize a loop mode playing over and over again the celestial feelings of joy, peace, and love to guide me through life's journey. I think I will also learn the words to Messiah so I'll be prepared to sing with the multitude of angels when at last we meet. I LOVE OUR SAVIOR. I KNOW HE LIVES. HE WILL REIGN FOREVER AND EVER. Oh, my. I am deeply moved by this performance. I have been in several different choirs that performed this. I never tire of hearing Handel’s greatest work.
I wish all of humanity could sing together in this sort of fashion. I love Handel he is a genius. I was raised in a Catholic Convent as a child and sharpened my moral compass there. Im not a person of institutional religion anymore, too much judgement, but the essence of compassion for all still resides deeply within me. I love this for those reasons.

In the Royal Albert Hall in London our coire also took part singing the Halleluja from scratch, with 8000 other singers from all over tje world. It gave me wings and it was something never to forget. It felt like a natural hight It was lead by sir Jeffrey Wilcox. In one word is was awesome!!!!

I cant stop crying myself . I learned to sing all the vocal parts of the this song since childhood becuase I sang the music sheet as my mother played the organ accompaniment for the choir at church before I heard the Tabernacle choir . Wished i was part of this project.Its amazing. It is indeed full of hope the creator and savior do exist and reigns in love and in all glory forever and ever.

I'm not sure if you don't believe in Jessie or Heavenly Father because you don't see them but what i know through my relationship with them is that unmistakable feeling of the Holy ghost who willtestify of things not seem but felt in our heart. HALLELUJAH!!!! Sang this in my HS chorus and it still gives me goose bumps!!
My HS Choir performed this and it became legend in our school. I never got emotional then because I was too young to comprehend it. Now, 40 years later I always get choked up when I hear the MTC. The ending is overwhelming.
I'm so glad I could be part of the Virtual #Hallelujah Chorus!! This was my second time singing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir - such angelic voices :)

i hope you don't mind me commenting on your comment. i thought I would suggest to you that it is amazing because you had to experience the Holy Ghost. I'm not sure if you don't believe in Jessie or Heavenly Father because you don't see them but what i know through my relationship with them is that unmistakable feeling of the Holy ghost who willtestify of things not seem but felt in our heart. Just thought I would share with you what I know to be true. I'm a witness and I cannot deny the Lord of Lord's. i have a relationship because after feeling the comfort of the Holy Ghost you never want to live without it again. So many times in my life I've been given answers to my prayer by a warm feeling and a feeling of pure love. m

When the King of England heard the Hallelujah Chorus for the first time, he jumped to his feet because it was so beautiful. After that, it was customary to stand up when it was performed. I think it is the most beautiful piece of music ever written.
