Wow Dan. I'm not a ship or plane guy But this one is ship shape and I could be persuaded to set sail on one. Neat build there. Cheer's John

I know a modeller who did a container ship, not sure if it's the same as yours but just to say they used Posca pen's to paint the containers, was a lot easier and no masking

I love this build a lot! I watched this nice video while playing a trucking game, and I really want to buy this kit too. Few problems: I have almost no time, im a 13 year old kid with no building expierience and I am not sure what the best tools for this are. I did make a list with things I need, such as a (cheaper) Air Brush, the green mat you use to prevent glue or paint getting on my desk, and the right plastic glue. I also found a site that gives you the option to buy the kit with all the colors of paint you need. Do you have any tips for me?

If you haven't built a model before may I suggest using spray cans for your first couple of models. An airbrush is a large investment and the air supply doubles that. Pick the 2 or 3 colours that would best be sprayed and use Testors or Tamyia hobby paints for the rest. Testors liquid model cement or Tamyia cement are good choices. Although the green mats are inexpensive for most of 30 years I have used small pieces of hard board (also known as Masonite). Other than that an x-acto knife should get you started. Good luck.

Part 2 is currently in progress. I have started and stopped a couple of times. I have also changed the method I'm using for one aspect. I hope to have the video ready soon. Thanks for watching.
