Glad to see this project start. I like your problem solving and modeling philosophy. I watch these in segments but appreciate the longer vids over several short ones.
Thanks David! I wrestle with that a lot. How long to make a video and how many to make. I felt like I could get away with this because almost all of the hull prep work is in one video. I could have cut a bunch of stuff out. But it still would have easily been an hour long.

Hello!! Very happy to join the club! As a former NCO of the French Air Force, I friendly and respectfully salute you and your charming spouse. Thank you very much for the video.
The Titanic an illustrated history is a great reference book. I have a 1/700 one that I plan on building when I get all of the supplies I need. Wish you all the best with your build.
Lovely work sir. I watch Nigel and marvel at the work he is doing. I also appreciate the simpler "massaging" of what the kit gives you to correct and add detail. I look forward to the rest of this build. Also, either a screen grab from your portrait session or your wife's final product should end up framed on your backdrop wall . . .
Already on it. At a minimum it will be taped up for the next video and a frame will be in it’s future....after, it’s returned from the MOA, on loan of course 😉
Thank you very much for your answer, I have grouped all the questions on the subject At 55 minutes 02 in video build 1, you speak of a condenser, are the condensers correctly placed? Just make sure you get ALL of your V.A benefits ok. Ya'll take care.
I have stood in line at the V.A. for and am receiving, every benefit I qualify for. Thank you for emphasizing this. I do the same thing for everyone I run into.

At the time of this video, I wasn’t very enthusiastic about the Titanic. I started it because Nora liked it and it got her involved because of the human element. But I am enjoying it. There aren’t 56 oerlikon cannons to build, so I won’t go crazy. The next build will be either the enterprise or yourktown. OR a 1/200 destroyer that Trumpeter is allegedly making. But to answer you question, you should build a kit that interests you. This is the best Titanic kit out there.

Hello friends,
Concerning the Titanic in 1/200 scale, what is the diameter of the different drills for drilling the portholes?
Instead of using flexible, breakable drill bits, try using Milling Machine Bits. They are much, much stronger!
That's a good idea, but I'm not sure they make them small enough for the size she broke. Its rare that I even use bits that big on these models. Usually they are much much smaller.

I think there are places that can make custom paint colours that are sprayable to help the accuracy.
Awesome! Thanks for video
Is the model kit worth it. Doesn't seem like you are impressed with it or is there another kit you would recommend. Thank you great videos. Mike
