  • A walk up onto the plateau east of the Drumochter pass, bagging two munros, A' Bhuidheanach Bheag and Carn na Caim. It was an overcast but otherwise fine day, with only a couple of little showers giving me a slight watering.
The plateau east of Drumochter feels enormous, stretching as far as the eye can see in some directions. The majority of the ascent is right at the beginning, as once up onto the plateau, it turns into a gentle stroll. Not a place to be stuck in bad weather without a map though!

Did that walk today. Beautiful day for it. Rain in the Drumochter Pass up and down but none at lay by 87! Grand day out again

Nicely done Kris. 👌🏼 Done a good job of making these less interesting hills more interesting. 😁

@@ScottishMountainGoat save the western Drumochters for winter. They're fantastic!

Now that sounds like a plan. Little bit of snow make even the dull ones good!

Heading that way next week on my (hopefully) first summit climb of the year. I tried Beinn Dubhchraig last week but beaten by the low cloud and the bogs …. Oh the bogs!! Looks like these two however will get my legs and lungs back into Munro Mode 😊

Those bogs at Beinn Dubhchraig are really something else! 😫 This one is alot less boggy, but I can't make any promises on the cloud 😄 Hope it's a good one!

Cheers peter! Yeah, i can see how folk might get lost up there in the mists. Would be hard to relocate when there's kilometres between the contour lines haha. Doesn't give the same adrenaline rush as your last trip though lol 😝

Brilliant vlog Kris. Loving your film making eye, from the slow-mo to the Guy Ritchie style ending! Looked like a fantastic time in the mountains. Thanks for capturing and documenting your day.

Great vlog Kris. Still to do these hills & some nice info about the carbon anaw. Your Gaelic pronunciations of the hills are always spot on tae. 👌

Thanks Kevin! It's tougher trying to say their names than it is to climb them sometimes haha!
