Beinn Udlamain - Drumochter Pass - Munro Bagging

- A munro bagging trip to climb the munros Beinn Udlamain and Sgairneach Mhor, just off the A9 at the Drumochter pass. On the eastern side of the pass are 4 relatively easy munros due to the high starting point. These hills, like the others at the eastern side of the pass are large rounded mountains with shallow ascents making for a comfortable walk but with fantastic views.
I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!
Kris.

An another great upload, beautiful filming. Just great area for hiking. I love it. Thanks for sharing dear. All the best. Have a wonderful day
Watched on my big tv screen. Absolutely brilliant!
Outstanding video--new friend here
Great video of my nearest Munros. Love the ariel shots.
That’s TV worthy narration Haha. Great job 👏
Looks a great hike. Our groups added it to the list. But I think we'll wait till most of the snow has gone.
I am up that way next weekend for the Blair Atholl music and craft beer festival I might have to check these hills out.
I always have a pork pie in my lunch box 🤣
Haha that sounds like a great weekend! 👍 You can't beat them, perfect little lunch nuggets 😄
Your video is incredible buddy, beautiful footage and wonderfully narrated. 😊😉
Brilliant video 😊
Great video
Stunning scenery, and you present it in such an enjoyable way!
Thanks Sarah, much appreciated!
Your videos are always very enjoyable kris - the opening footage was brilliant. I liked the addition of the bits to camera during the day too. Well done. Gordon
Many thanks Gordon. I'm really glad you enjoyed 🙂
Nice one Kris , a cracking atmospheric day ..you made a couple of boring hills look quite dramatic ..TH-cams finest narrator ..enjoyed that mate ..cheers Stevie
Haha cheers Stevie! The clouds certainly gave me a hand that's for sure! 😄
great vid. your drone footage is amazing
Thanks mate!
Loved the video, thank you for the details! Got these two planned for next week if the weather is on our side!
No problem Abbie, hope the weather gods smile upon you! 😄
Great video mate keep it up
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
I've come over from months channel
"Just a grouse" phew 😰
Nicely shot Kris, only your expertise of filming could make the Drumocthers look interesting. 👌🏼
Nice to hear a bit of chat on the day too. 😁
Haha cheers Robin! Took your advice on the talking part, though I'm a bit out of practice now 😄
@@ScottishMountainGoat I know what you mean, you can feel out of practice if it's been a while. But it didn't show by the way. 👍🏻 I actually felt a shade bad for saying that mate. But it's nice to get some constructive feedback/opinion.
Nah don't feel bad man, I was thinking the same. Keep trying to get better and some constructive criticism is a great help. Still so much to learn! 😄 I appreciate it.
@@ScottishMountainGoat I'm in the same boat mate. Everyday is a school day. 😁
Brilliant film making Kris! Liked and Sub'd - new fan here
Thanks alot! Much appreciated!
Did them just last month and what a great day out. Both undemanding hills that don’t take too long to do. Guides say park at lay-by 79 but I prefer 81 has it’s a little more away from the A9 traffic. The additional walk is only 5 mins.
Oh you've got me thinking now, think it must have been 79 or 80 I parked in. I didn't think to look at the number. It certainly is a great wee day out!
Awesome intro at the beginning of the video👌 beautiful views my friend, Big like 👍64. I subscribe😃🔔 new friend. Have a great day!
Another stunner Kris 👏👍 You certainly know how to liven up the easy Munros. Stunning drone footage of Loch Ericht.
Cheers Kev, I imagine if that mist had to hang about that it would have made a pretty miserable video 😂
Brilliant views Kris especially down loch Ericht looked great with a wee touch of clag 👍 Sometimes it has it's good points. Take care mate, peter :)
Thanks Peter! I know, First time I've seen it and couldn't believe the length of it. Must have been an awesome trip for that wee guy in the speed boat 😀 Cheers!
Beautifully put together sir, had me gripped until the very end! Would like to hear just a wee bit of variation in the voiceover delivery, but your on camera delivery was smashing :) Fantastic work!
Thanks Scott and appreciate the feedback. I shall try my best to change it up a bit. Maybe an extra strong coffee before I hit record will inject some more energy into it 😄 Cheers! Kris.
@@ScottishMountainGoat Haha 😄 It really works up top, but just for the directional stuff. Still, fantastic work and I’m looking forward to seeing more 😁💪🏻
I love the calming voiceover. That and the excellent camera work is what really appeals to me and why I subscribed.
@@pjtripp79 Thanks Peter, much appreciated!
Nice video Kris and it looked a fabulous day out👍 I’ve never done a trip at the Cairngorms yet so thanks for sharing this. Might do these two at some point. ATB Gaz.
Cheers Gaz, you won't find it hard to find a pitch up there. The entire mountain is one big flat piece of grass 😀
That looked amazing, very atmospheric with the clouds 😁 Not the easiest area to film, but you done a great job, well done!
Atb, James
Cheers James! The clouds definitely spiced things up a bit 😄
You're videos are excellent pal. What do you use to film them?
Cheers mate. I use the Panasonic GH5 and Mavic Air2S. Sometimes a Gopro hero 7 black if it gets a little soggy 😁
@@ScottishMountainGoat The video quality is top notch...
