    Great video! been super interested in NAD+ and precursors like NMN for a bit and appreciate you sharing your experience. one small correction is that μM is “micromolar” in this context, meaning you had that many moles of NAD+ per liter of blood (im sure you’ll get other comments on this tho lol) keep up the fantastic videos, cant wait for the next one!

    • @Project.Andrew
      @Project.Andrew  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hahahaha yeah I got another comment on that already. Turns out a lower-case “m” is micrometer…. Thanks for the comment! Always learning on TH-cam.

    • @larsnystrom6698

      You mean a lower-case “m” is meter (not micrometer). The "µ" is for micro.
      So, "µm" means micrometer.
      You Americans will get it,... eventually!
      You just need the education others get in the kindergarten.
      We think you are funny when you try to use u its, and hilarious when you use a number without guving the unit.

    Really appreciate the "Stay informed" section of the description linking research and publications!
    Also, NMN does work to increase NAD+ levels, exogenous supplementation at your age is probably not what you should approach due to concerns about transient effects of NAD+ precursor supplementation (at least NMN/NR) and un-optimal facets/alternatives with your lifestyle/practicality (Calorie restriction, Ketogenic diet, Niacin, etc.).
    Some further comments about the second point: E.g. If you haven't eaten and your glucose levels are measured to be low, the immediate solution would be to have a meal rather than have a dextrose IV (goes to illustrate down the line issues beyond a point in time measurement as well, etc.).

    • @cristobaldion

    I took it and my kidneys hurt like hell and I felt like I could run less and low-key depressed. Overall, I was most concerned about why my kidneys hurt like hell though the reason the bandit is because they haven’t done enough studies to see its effectiveness or the cons of taking the drug when I turned 31. Be sure to do your research before you take drugs guys just because it works on a mouse doesn’t mean it’s gonna work on you.

    So Big Pharma knows NMN works and want to be the only ones to profit from it. Something that is widely available and relatively cheap will be reclassified as a drug and called something like Maximumipab and sold for thousands of dollars. Capitalism sucks for those at the bottom.

    I’ve been taking NMN for about 6 months or so now. My self report would be very similar to what you feel. It’s not a burst of energy but just a slow and steady stream of energy. Also, NMN has been one of the few supplements I’ve taken that I noticed an actual difference in my daily life. Low activity or no activity days I don’t really take it and on high activity days I’ll take between 400-1200mg. I really notice it especially when I take 1200mg.
