I like how the one reply from DT said, âWe would like to remind our drivers that we are delivering to professional settings though, so we want to avoid the typical Dasher wear.â aka, sweats and flipflopsâĶ
ð
Yeah I read that like wait you think all dashers dress bummy? ðð
But its been cold outside lately, with a jacket on you wouldnt see the uniform regardless. Not that I dont dig gig work wear. I want to buy DD shirts n jackets. Did DT offer a jacket? I know they offer shirts which I dont mind wearing if I did go through the final purchase of there pro package.
ðð
I had a pair of black slacks left over from working at Dominos, and I ordered 2 red polo's from Amazon. It may not do anything for the customers, but the Businesses seem to recognize me and get me out the door quickly because I look like I belong to "Doordash" LOL
Hi Mike, Good video Thanks!
I enjoy watching Rome heâs so excited and has positive energyð
I think Catering is the thing for 2024. I have been so blessed to do mainly Catering now. I started doing Catering 6 months. I do not wear polo shirts either ð Last week was my biggest week in Catering. I worked 13 hours and made $750ðð―ðð―ðð―
Please do more videos on deliverthat
I signed up after your previous video a couple weeks ago. I've had 10 or so deliveries. Ez cater for me is between $21-27 we've had cold weather so I've had my coat on. The training videos highly recommended a polo as well. I multi app, so if I have a few I'll put one on, otherwise I'm not too worried.
Thanks for sharing! I don't mind it per se but I really just want to be comfortable which means wearing what fits best for me.
@YourDriverMike I agree, when Uber/Lyft I wear business casual... delivery jeans and tee-shirt.
jeans and a tshirt is NOT business casual-lol@@TheSideGigGuru
@@arresthillary9502 read that again, it states that I wear that when I'm delivering food.
@arresthillary9502 I you actually read what I wrote I mentioned that's what I wear for delivery.
It's the same as Fantuan delivery here at Mississauga
Just get a polo that says âIâm the Driverâ. Lol
"I'm with DeliverThat" *arrow pointing up* ð
@@YourDriverMike ð
A shirt that says "You Driver Mike" would be awesome ð
3:15 the title of the image that was put up says ârequired appearance.â If I told my employee that a hard hat was required to be worn on every job sight and it wasnâtâĶðĪĶðžââïļ
Really nice video! i was wondering if i could help you edit your videos and make them more engaging as well as it will save your time.
this jerome guy cool
He's got tons of experience on apps that I've been following like Dispatch, Dropoff, Frayt, DeliverThat and more. Not a lot of people cover these apps
I signed up, but it feels like you have to have the app open on your screen (not in the background) and be active to have it search for orders. Is that true? When I pull it up from the background I can see it go back to searching, but Door Dash sometimes does the same thing and it's still searching for me. Curious if you know the answer.
No you don't have to wear a polo. They just encourage you to be neat and act professional.
Just did first DT today and you donât need to ware a uniform.
I had a better than catering food!ðĪŠ with over eat I have been dropping off apple products all week!ðĪŠ
How is it legal for a delivery driver to set up food without a food handler permit?
I've delivered for catering companies and you're not really handling food. You're handling containers.
@YourDriverMike here we go Mike...one more driver confirming the theory that DD doesn't care about long-time drivers. My friend with exceptional ratings had an awful Superbowl day with DD and a new Russian Armenian driver, in his 10th month of delivery, made $400 on Sunday, with DD alone - no others apps. This is how it was for me in my first taxable year. The foreigner also have high ratings (88% AR) I wish I could gather more information, but most of the foreigners don't speak English.
I would skip the company t-shirt or polo, if I'm independent, I'm not wearing your uniform.
You dont have to wear a uniform, but you can be rated on your appearance.
If you look professional, thats what matters
Zifty Ask's you to Wear A Polo Shirt! But in the Fall/Winter Nobody's checking for your Shirt
When I do a DoorDash catering order from Charleyâs Steakhouse they photograph the order in my car and have me sign for it.
How is the large order program? Do you like it?
so i just signed up for DeliverThat and dont understand what all the hype and fuss is about. 1st thing that got me is the delivery time, so i have to be there at a specific time, like i have to schedule my day around that time? ok i guess, not a big deal. 2nd thing is big....i'm not able to see my payout??? please help me out if I AM ABLE to see expected payout, cause I am not able to see it. All I see is time of delivery, the name of customer, the route, name of grocery store or restaurant, but no expected payout.
Yes order usually come in the day before and sometimes the day of. You donât see the payment right away if you have did orders mon-weds you will get your payment Friday and from thurs- sun you with get that payment on Wednesday. they will send you a payment breakdown in your email the same day. So as far as how much you can make per order defers depending on the size and your tip pull. Once you understand how the app works you can calculate how much you can make per order without getting the full payout right there
He talks to fast and not obnoxious this guy he's watching
Rome definitely has a LOT of energy. First video that I've watched of his.
Itâs not required but highly recommended
Pretty much ðĪ
How can they take money thatâs for you, and part of your wage
And do anything, but give it to you?
The tip pooling thing is pretty unique, average per delivery pay is quite high though so as long as I'm making the $25+ per delivery I'd be happy.
The tip pool is good for low dollar orders.
because you agree to it when you sign up or you dont get on the platform
Ah - you look like an employee with a company shirt NOT an independent contractor
I'd wear the t shirt preferably over the polo but I don't really mind either way especially as they've given us the choice. But most shifts I'm probably not going to wear it.
you do not need to get a signature from the customer
ð
@BuzzMediaUS easy buddy ð,no heâs not on coke and he doesnât get that animated during the actual interactions with the customers/businesses (only when talking to the camera, i suppose for entertainment purposes) Watch a vid or two, pretty cool dude.
The problem with some gig drivers is you get guys like that. Is he on coke? Does he have a mental issue? Either way, you don't want someone like that delivering your food.
Most of the other drivers I see out while I'm delivering...I wouldn't eat the food if they dropped it off at my house!
What's wrong with him? He's positive energy too much negativity in this space
Very true, but the rate that DD brings in new drivers, what good does wearing company shirts as you get dwindled down into the dust waiting and waiting as the software see's you as a cherry picker, I spent money on fancy bags and always gone the extra mile and work 12hrs a day 6 days a week. Are we not all expendable in the end? Will DT do what DD does in the end. I dont mean to bash DD as its my primary source of income but after the protest's it seems things have slowed down quite a bit in my market hence why Im watching these vids and looking at other apps. I have a mortgage to pay and animals to feed lol. I am addicted to gig apps. I wash my car and keep my car clean and act professional but am I expendable lol.
