    Am currently using both Cerave cream & lotion moisturizers. Love both as they suit my oily, acne-prone skin. I'm living in Malaysia, which is hot and humid all year round so I can appreciate them both. If you're dry to very dry skin you might want to check the 3rd moisturiser (contains shea butter) in the video or use Make p:rem original moisturiser (contains squalane) as both are thicker and more occlusive than Cerave.

    I am using cerave moisturiser cream in my morning and night routine. Love it! My skin change after 1st use (last month) and I have been using it since than. Now, I have better skin complexion and invisible pores. No more dry skin. My skin type is sensitive and combination (oily at t- zone and dry at cheek area). It really improve my skin barrier 👍.

    First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream has a preservative. All cream or lotion containing water must have a preservative, synthetic or natural preservative, I personally prefer the more natural I can find to add to my creams or lotions. And if you look at the ingredients list, Phenoxyethanol is used as a preservative in cosmetic products and also as a stabilizer in perfumes and soaps. Exposure to phenoxyethanol has been linked to reactions ranging from eczema to severe, life-threatening allergic reactions. I love your videos and I am learning more through them.

    • @heatherlynn4652
      @heatherlynn4652 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, products you put on your skin need preservatives because fungus and bacteria would be much MUCH worse to rub in your face lol. The to realize about these reactions to certain chemicals and compounds is the dose is higher than what's found in cosmetics. The dose makes the poison. Some poisons are even beneficial in smaller amounts. Being scared of chemicals is kinda crazy as every single thing on the planet is made up of chemicals. Including you

    I love Cerave cream. One thing I do if I ever accidentally over exfoliate is use Cerave cream like a mask, put on a thick layer and let it sit for a while before splashing it off with water. It's very soothing.

    I used to use Cera Ve cream on my face every winter but it didn’t moisturize my skin enough. It felt tight and dry so I shopped around for something else. I have to be careful because I have sensitive skin. I tried Vichy skincare because it was on sale and I really like it!! It’s made in France and doesn’t have all the additives that are allowed in the US. I have one with vitamin c and peptides, one that is like Neutrogena Hydro Boost but way better. It’s really improving my skin. I don’t use any Cera Ve products now. But I know it’s still good for those who can’t use anything else.

    Is it worth it? Because im on the fence on ceramides. Was planning to get this. However, the ratio of ceramides is important for its effectiveness. Unlike retinol and vit c, that has tons of research being done. Its very hard to tell if ceramides actually works. Although its important, it kinda works like a moisturizer. Plus, the illiyoon cream does not disclose the ceramides %.. Im very hesitant on korean products (except for their sunscreen) because they like putting in natural ingredients in it and has small % of actually proven ingredients. Always feel kbeauty products emphasize too much on hydration which imo easily achieved with other products on more affordable price... Kbeauty products often to me comes off more novelty and gimmicky than effectiveness. Maybe because people are on the hype train kbeauty and kpop that they just give good reviews which leads me to believe i cant trust people's one sided opinion... Easy for korean to market and churn out products too..Im not after the hydration which can be formulated using cheaper ingredients. Just want to know if its effective and proven. Even this illiyoon cream that kept tugging my heart strings, i have a doubt on the back of mind that its just on the hydrating side rather than effectiveness... Just like most of the kbeauty products🤦‍♀🤷‍♀

    I have been using cerave moisturising lotion for almost a month. What I’ve notived, it kinda absorbed into skin a few moments after applying onto my face at night before i slept however when i woke up in the morning, the face felt very oily. And when contact with water i can feel its oiliness on the face and the body as if it was not absorbed into the skin. Please help me i just wanted to treat my skin barrier 😭 i got acne non stop all over the face for the past few months. i have combination to dry skin and i use cerave from dry to very dry skin.

      Maybe u should use cerave daily moisturizer. Less oily. I already try. My skin conditions combination to very dry. I had dry patch and senstive skin. @ sapu sket(cream yg dah guna tu) je di setiap bahagian muka. Sapu nipis.

      Ceramides are phospholipids means they are oily in nature. People with acne prone skin shouldn't use them as it'll clog their pores.

    I was the kind who'd wash my face with soap, put petroleum jelly and voilà perfect skin. Now my dry skin breaks out despite using cera ve moisturizing cream. Could it be the cleanser I use? Please help🥲
