Jasleen yey! I’m interested to know your thoughts on it since I haven’t tried a lot of skincare brands. By the way, the pyungkang Yul intensive cream also has ceramides! :)
I just started using the Illiyoon Ato Cream due to your recommendation. It is fabulous! After about 2 days I noticed my skin (face & hands) felt more nourished. With Cerave, it felt good after application but I can't say I ever felt like it had a real effect other than protection. The Illiyoon is something extra special. The backs of my hands are transformed. It's pretty wild.
Since I bought my first Illiyoon ato cream on Kelly's recommendation, in November I haven't had a single night of it. I don't see the need to look for any other cream, I don't use it as a morning moisturiser as I live in a very hot and humid climate and I sweat easily. I need something a lot less nourishment, i do really like the Cosrx propolis cream instead. Stay safe and sane ❤️😊
The Purito recovery cream unscented version and barrierderm intensive from Skin&Lab contain ceramide as well. I wish you would try them soon and give them some reviews also!
For my nighttime routine, I love using the neogen real ferment micro essence & serum, Stratia rewind, Stratia Liquid gold (Mixed with a drop or two of fortify), and topped off with the Illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream. That combo is Magic for my combo/dehydrated skin. I wake up plump, hydrated, and moisturized. My skin is soft and firm. Love it. Absolutely love it.
Have you made a video to explain your terminology? I have no idea what the difference is between nourish, moisturise and hydrate. Nourish especially. No clue!
You introduced me to Illiyoon cream and it is my MOST favorite moisturizer of all time now. It helped me so much with my breakouts and definitely helps in keeping my skin clear.
@@shahizz3140 hello! Yes, in my case, it helped a lot with redness. In comparison to my older moisturizer I could really see the difference after using this one. I am not as certain when it comes to dry areas considering I have oily skin, but its formulation is definitely good for those who have drier skin types.
@@kiapula8182 hello! I think you can use this even with combination skin. 😊 i have oily-acne prone (living in a tropical country) and even if it is mostly marketed to drier skin types, it gets absorbed easily by my skin and not tacky considering our weather. But I definitely suggest that you try it out first before buying the 200mL one.
I am really glad I found you. And, I love Korean skin care. But, I wish you had compared them with CeraVe. I've been using CeraVe for about a year and I was wondering if anything out there is better. As I'm looking at the ingredients in the products mentioned, I don't see the ceramides or pseudo ceramides high enough in the list of ingredients mentioned. There are 3 ceramides in CeraVe and they are 6th, 7th, and 8th in the ingredient deck. My question is... do you think any of these products are better than CeraVe p.m. ? And if so, why? 🤔
I have the same question; I wish there was a comparison. I'm currently using CeraVe cream and I want to see how these compare. I can tell they all are more expensive than CeraVe, but maybe CeraVe is more shiny?
Someone said a close dupe is by Ceracolla, has 3 ceramides as the 6th, 7th and 8th ingredients including sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed collagen, phytosphingosine and cholesterol. But it says it’s a lotion rather than a thicker cream.
Another one that I’ve tried before and love is Ceramedx, made here in the U.S it’s just like CeraVe except that it has added nourishing, soothing ingredients. Doesn’t have the strong silicone feel that CeraVe contains. CeraVe has an uncomfortable heating/cooling sensation that I get when I apply to my face.
@@shaseu Gel is recommended for those with oily skin and want a lightweight moisturizer whereas cream is heavier in texture & recommended for dry or extremely dehydrated skin
Added illiyoon to my 'your recommendations of k Beauty products' and of course ,as most times ,not disappointed. Suits and nourishes my very sensitive skin which is also dehydrated and feels dry during cold weathers. Thanks Kelly 💜🌼. Definitely want to try the pyunkang yul ato cream as well 💙. Especially for upcoming winter.
I wanted to love that Cosrx moisturizer. But, I just couldn't get over the tack feeling finish it left on my skin. Everything else about it was great, easy to apply, soft and of course the ingredients. But yeah, the sticky tack it left 😔 Given my dry skin type, that Illyoon cream sounds like a winner!
Yessss I LOVE ceramides! I always include moisturizers in my routine with ceramides in them. I like the Cerave pm cream, the Illiyoon Ato cream, one by Hado Labo that has ceramides in it , Good Days ahead gel moisturizer, I do like the Drunk Elephant protini peptide even if it doesn’t have ceramides in it it does have peptides. I also always use either the Stratia Liquid gold before moisturizer. I did buy the Pyungkang Yul blue label and haven’t tried it yet. 💜
Hi Jennifer, how do you think the CeraVe PM lotion compares to the other ceramide moisturisers you mention. Particularly the illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream. I have CeraVe and wondering if it's worth switching out. My skin is dehydrated and can be on the oily side (but curious to know whether it is oily because of a lack of hydration). What skin type do you have? :)
@@adjk4169 hi I also have oily-dehydrated skin and I do love the CeraVe pm moisturizer but it’s not enough and I layers creams anyways but the Illiyoon is super moisturizing and very occlusive, (way heavier), so you may do better with that. Also I’ve added the Etude House Soon Jung 5-panthensoside Cica balm & squalane oil day/night from Good Molecules especially because of the cold weather. ❤️
I think you would really love Curel Intensive Moisture Cream. It contains pseudoceramides and it has this crazy fluffy, whipped texture but it's very moisturising.
The Zeroid Intensive oint-cream is super moisturizing and non-greasy, and so is the regular intensive cream. The former has been a life saver since staring starting accutane.
I just got CosRX cream for autumn time when my skin starts to become compromised and can wait to try it💚 Now I’m almost done with I’m from vitamin tree gel as my daytime moisturizer and I absolutely love it for my oily dehydrated skin because it’s pure hydration
Kelly your videos are full of such important information. I appreciate your videos so much! but after this video I'm sad because most products contain polymers aka plastic that contaminates the oceans when you wash it away. Thank you for including the ingredients list!!! keep up the good work.❣️
Thanks for pointing that out. I was only avoiding polyethylene when I found out my old cleansing balm contained it but didn't know about acrylates copolymer. Some other youtubers mentioned how they are in a liquid form so they are not as bad as microbeads but they still can't be removed from the water supply and not only do fish but humans end up ingesting these particles of plastic... It looks like the Zeroid Soothing cream and Pyunkang Yul Ato Cream are the only ones here that don't contain it. It's a shame since I really liked the Illiyoon.
@@mistress.villaina7591 tell me about it I was so excited about the Illyoon I already bought but I refuse to even open it to open it what a waste and be careful of the Pyunkang Yul creams they also contain plastic, just because a brand has products that doesn't contain plastics it doesn't mean they practice this throughout their whole range of products *sigh*
there is a brand called neulii. the white line has great ingredient like ceramides and squalane. they came in 80ml of a serum for about $10 i have to try it in the future. the place i live sells their serum for only $5
Not sure if you know about Vanicream’s new facial moisturizer with ceramides. It sounds amazing and many are speaking highly of it. The price is great too! You should check it out. 😬😬
Ok, this might sound daft but I'm a tretinoin user and use Cerave cream in the big tub, how do these compare to Cerave, better, worse or the same in terms of their ceramide ingredients? is Cerave cream a bit rubbish? It's easily accessible here in the Uk, matt, and rich, and cheap...so I want to be sure before I swap! ☺️
Yayyyy!!! Love this!!! Question: does the Krave Great Barrier Relief contain the holy trinity;)? I absolutely love that moisturizer but I know it’s a smidge pricey....
I have been binge watching your videos and going to Amazon buying so many skincare. Lol I think I need to stop watching you for while until I'm running out of skincare. 😁👍💞🤪
You may also consider the renewed version of cos de baha peptide cream (relatively new korean brand). It has ceramide np, three kinds of peptides: 1, 7 & 8. It has panthenol, niacinamide, squalene, adenosine, allantoin, caffeine and great plant extracts like aloevera, artemisia, greentea and licorice. It also has argan oil. Pretty inexpensive around $12+ for 45ml. And free from volatile alcohol/essential oils/fragrance.
How about illiyoon lotion/ gel? I love illiyoon cream too, it really soothes my irrritated within a few days and my redness in about 2 weeks. Because i live in a humid country, i can't use it in hot days so i want to find another ceramide moisturizer. I know illiyoon has that gel or lotion type, anyone can review them? Thank you for your videos ❤️
The gel feels like a water cream... It's lightweight and absorbs fast... I dunno about the lotion... But they said it's a lightweight version of the cream.
I have tried the lotion--loved the texture. It was very light and absorbed quickly as well. It was perfect during Summer for my skin, which is on the drier side. However, while it is fragrance-free, it had an unpleasant scent (to me, it smelled like rotten tomatoes). That's the only reason why I stopped using it.
The gel and lotion have different ingredient. Gel is lightweight. Lotion has Shea butter, even it's lotion, it's like a thick cream, different from average/normal lotion you see. Leaving bit greasy, shiny bcos Shea butter. I avoid it if u have oily/acne prone skin, even combo dry acne prone skin like me, Shea butter can clog pores according to American association of dermatology. ( Opposite of what we know from internet that Shea butter is non comedogenic). Shea butter mimics sebum in skin, high oleic acid. I always breakout Everytime I use Shea butter ingredient, but petrolatum/mineral oil/lanolin, I don't ever have problem. If u live in hot/ humid place, Shea butter only makes it more shiny, except if your skin is super dry. Illiyoon lotion absorbs quickly, Shea butter just absorbs to skin.
May I ask what skin type do you have? Wondering if I could get good results with the Illiyoon as well. Have you ever used the CeraVe PM facial moisturising lotion? That's what I'm currently using :)
@@jollychiu1269 I like the CeraVe a lot. I have acne prone skin which can be on the oily side but I’ve found with the central heating in colder months (and my recent over-exfoliation) I’ve needed more in terms of hydration. Kelly can you please make A video on The best products with panthenol? Also. I I would be so happy if you tried sidmool's galaktocide serum, ampoule, and cream. They contain egf, nmf, galactomyces ferment, peptides, and all 4 complexes of cica!!!
I find that hyaluronic acid dehydrates my skin even more when the climate is dry (I live in the north of Norway). Apparently, instead of drawing moisture to the skin, it will draw moisture from the skin in dry conditions. Instead, I pack my skin with hydrating toners and first essences, as I find that more thin layers works better than few thick ones. Kelly has some good tips on that in previous videos. I then make sure to finish my routine with a moisturiser that seals it all inn. Now that winter is approaching, I am using the Pyongyang Yul Intensive cream inmy dry areas and the Beauty of Joseon for the rest of my face.
@@cesiliewelle2950 same, hyaluronic acid doesn't work and makes my skin super dry tho i have oily skin. It's like no matter how much i apply it gets sucked in and it irritates my skin. @@rumystikI feel ya! The feeling of something sitting on top of the skin is not nice.. I’m currently using Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream but it’s a little bit rich for me and prefer it at night. I do have the Mizon Snail Cream and the Black Snail Cream but I haven’t really started to use the latter yet. I recently picked up the Benton Deep Green Tea toner and lotion, hoping for the lotion to be light enough with my sunscreen. I’m curious about the Iunik Beta Glucan cream as well as the Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 100 as it’s got ceramides and cholesterol and I think fatty acids, though that’s a serum rather than a moisturizer. A friend is giving me her TO Squalane cleanser and NMF so I think that might have the right stuff. I’m really struggling with finding the right moisturizer and toner.
Currently I'm using COSRX Honey Ceramide Full Moisture Cream! But since it's going to be discontinue, I'm starting to use the Illiyoon on and off for a few days now!
Hey, what do you think about the green tea aqua soothing gel ? For oily/sensitive skin or aloe propolis soothing gel by benton? Which one is good for hot/humid weather.
I have eczema around my eye lids and am acne prone yet dry skin. Which moisturiser can i go for which will help my eczema skin & not break me out in acne? X
Hi. I apologize because I don’t know English, but I’ve seen you talk about Korean products and I want to ask you something. These creams are good for eye contour? I have it extremely dry (I’m 57 years old) and I’m looking for a cream that works with that, but not ultra-expensive like Dior creams, Arden... That’s why I was looking for ceramics, for the Arden capsules. Well, please ask me to recommend some Yesstyle for eye contour. Thank you so much, sweetie.
Bernadette Deady How do you usually add exfoliation in your routine? I once tried adding it after cleanser with my skin on the drier side. Then after 15-20 mins, I move into my FTE. I currently only have Isntree AHA essence right now as my exfoliator. Thinking of adding Wishtrend’s mandelic acid into my routine
I usually use it in toner form after cleansing and doing a hydrating toner first. I’ve used the aha bha pha miracle toner, and the cosrx clarifying treatment toner, both are great. I’m on differin and using panoxyl so I don’t really need to use the exfoliators too much. Once a week for me.

I don't see the need to look for any other cream, I don't use it as a morning moisturiser as I live in a very hot and humid climate and I sweat easily. I need something a lot less nourishment, i do really like the Cosrx propolis cream instead.
Stay safe and sane ❤️😊
All the products you've recommended are actually really really good. Thank you, Kelly!
I swear you read my mind. I was just researching ceramide moisturisers to see if I should try one.
Have you made a video to explain your terminology? I have no idea what the difference is between nourish, moisturise and hydrate. Nourish especially. No clue!
Thanks Kelly!! The best skincare video of 2020 so far👍
You introduced me to Illiyoon cream and it is my MOST favorite moisturizer of all time now. It helped me so much with my breakouts and definitely helps in keeping my skin clear.
Do u really think it will help damage skin barrier n redness ? Also dry patch ?
@@shahizz3140 hello! Yes, in my case, it helped a lot with redness. In comparison to my older moisturizer I could really see the difference after using this one. I am not as certain when it comes to dry areas considering I have oily skin, but its formulation is definitely good for those who have drier skin types.
Is it okay for combination skin?
@@kiapula8182 hello! I think you can use this even with combination skin. 😊 i have oily-acne prone (living in a tropical country) and even if it is mostly marketed to drier skin types, it gets absorbed easily by my skin and not tacky considering our weather. But I definitely suggest that you try it out first before buying the 200mL one.
im an esthetician student and i learn so much from watching your videos. thank you!!
Would like to know also how the compare, if Cerave is any good!
@@MsKaterinaKo she answere a different comment and said it's similar to innisfree
This was really educational! I never really hear about derms/experts talking about pseudo ceramides or pre ceramides so this was very helpful!!!
YEah, you reached 30K!!! COngrats 🍾 💕
Yay! Thank you!💕
That's passion over there! I'm the one losing my breath listening to your nonstop disquisition re Ceramide. 😉 More Power, Kell! 😘
i'm using the illiyoon as well, my best moisturizer so far for my dehydrated skin!
i want buy illiyoon moisturizer but i confusion illiyoon cream or gel
@@shaseu Gel is recommended for those with oily skin and want a lightweight moisturizer whereas cream is heavier in texture & recommended for dry or extremely dehydrated skin
Added illiyoon to my 'your recommendations of k Beauty products' and of course ,as most times ,not disappointed. Suits and nourishes my very sensitive skin which is also dehydrated and feels dry during cold weathers. Thanks Kelly 💜🌼.
Definitely want to try the pyunkang yul ato cream as well 💙. Especially for upcoming winter.
So happy to hear you're loving it too!!
30k!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
I wanted to love that Cosrx moisturizer. But, I just couldn't get over the tack feeling finish it left on my skin. Everything else about it was great, easy to apply, soft and of course the ingredients. But yeah, the sticky tack it left 😔
Given my dry skin type, that Illyoon cream sounds like a winner!
Great video as usual! Have you tried the Pyunkang Yul Intensive Repair Cream? It’s super moisturizing but a bit too heavy for my combo-oily skin.
Love it for my dry skin.
I love the Intensive Repair cream! It is so good for my dry sensitive skin! I have two back ups of it waiting!
Thanks for intruducing me to Zeroid! Gonna buy the intensive cream soon
Love the gold crown hairband! 🧡 very informative and well researched.. thank you!
I loooove your intros cuz I’m always SO READY to watch your videos but I always forget to give a thumbs up 😥🤣 so thank you for the reminder!! 😘
I think you would really love Curel Intensive Moisture Cream. It contains pseudoceramides and it has this crazy fluffy, whipped texture but it's very moisturising.
You have to Test the new pyunkang yul ato mild sun cream... it is amazing .... sooo soothing and light! And ceramide included
The Zeroid Intensive oint-cream is super moisturizing and non-greasy, and so is the regular intensive cream. The former has been a life saver since staring starting accutane.
There is a Pyunkang Yul Ceramide Lotion. I think it’s for the body? Has anyone tried it?
I just got CosRX cream for autumn time when my skin starts to become compromised and can wait to try it💚 Now I’m almost done with I’m from vitamin tree gel as my daytime moisturizer and I absolutely love it for my oily dehydrated skin because it’s pure hydration
Is the cosrx cream good? Do u recommend it?
@@tarin317 yes! Love both cream and water gel from CosRX moisture line (white packaging), I’m already repurchase it
Atopalm mle cream is also packed with ceramides. Love the texture.
How ceramide works for our skin? What 's the benefits of ceramide. Is it good for acne or skin barriar?
Ahh I knew this video was coming when I saw Zeroid on your shelf! My combo-dry dehydrated skin loves Zeroid Intensive Cream (and the Illiyoon cream) 🥰
I'll have to try the intensive version sometime!
Phenomenally worthwhile appreciating the experiential research, a wonderfully instructive and enjoyable exploration of the topic. Many thanks.
That innisfree cream is pretty nice, i have oily skin and i used it in the past.
@@bambiq8660 yeah that's true ☹️
Hi Kelly, I've been using the First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream and the Rovectin Lotus Water Cream.
Ive been waiting for this one! YASSS!
there is a brand called neulii. the white line has great ingredient like ceramides and squalane. they came in 80ml of a serum for about $10 i have to try it in the future. the place i live sells their serum for only $5
Sounds like an awesome deal! I've seen their products around Instagram, I'll have to take a look!
Only 30 seconds in & I’m so excited 😭 Although the illiyoon is my favorite I might purchase another one 👀
It doesn't
you should try mamonde ceramide light cream, they have an heavier version as well for dry skin
Fungal acne friendly ? Which one please recommend. Thanks
I have been binge watching your videos and going to Amazon buying so many skincare. Lol I think I need to stop watching you for while until I'm running out of skincare. 😁👍💞🤪
A much needed video, thank you! Love your content 💓
You're so welcome, so happy to know you enjoy my videos! ❤
Thank you for sharing the illiyoon, love it and it doesnt break me out
can I know, what is your skin type ?
@@nnaec oily and acne prone
You may also consider the renewed version of cos de baha peptide cream (relatively new korean brand). It has ceramide np, three kinds of peptides: 1, 7 & 8. It has panthenol, niacinamide, squalene, adenosine, allantoin, caffeine and great plant extracts like aloevera, artemisia, greentea and licorice. It also has argan oil. Pretty inexpensive around $12+ for 45ml. And free from volatile alcohol/essential oils/fragrance.
This sounds like a super ingredient list..did u use it ??if yes How was your experience??
How about illiyoon lotion/ gel? I love illiyoon cream too, it really soothes my irrritated within a few days and my redness in about 2 weeks. Because i live in a humid country, i can't use it in hot days so i want to find another ceramide moisturizer. I know illiyoon has that gel or lotion type, anyone can review them? Thank you for your videos ❤️
Iam curious about the lotion and the gel of illiyoon too
The gel feels like a water cream...
Up
The gel and lotion have different ingredient.
Your vid about ceramide is the reasom why I'm using the illiyoon ceramide now. And it's the best moisturizer I've used so far
May I ask what skin type do you have? Wondering if I could get good results with the Illiyoon as well. Have you ever used the CeraVe PM facial moisturising lotion? That's what I'm currently using :)
@@adjk4169 i have an oily and sensitive type of skin. illiyoon ceramide easily sink in to skin. And i haven't emptied the bottle.
@@adjk4169 i haven't tried the cerave, is it good??
@@jollychiu1269 I like the CeraVe a lot. I have acne prone skin which can be on the oily side but I’ve found with the central heating in colder months (and my recent over-exfoliation) I’ve needed more in terms of hydration. I'm using the Illiyoon Ceramide cream! Simply because I was influenced by the multiple posts on your instagram. :) But I am definitely loving it! Thanks Kelly for the comparison!
Hi! What's your skin type?
Rovectin Barrier Repair Face & Body Cream has ceramides as well.
I saw Kim Taeyung using the zeroid intensive cream
I really really need this video right now thanks kelly!!
This was a great video! I love to talk and know about the science behind my products. So thank you for talking about the ingredients. That's what I am passionate about in my Skincare regimen and goals.
The stratia liquid gold meets all this criteria!! My skin type varies at the mercy of my tret/retinol use lol but it’s so nice for during the day when I’m having more oily/normal skin
I've been wanting to try Cosrx moisture power enriched cream a while now, but I can't decide between this, the Purito dermide sleeping pack and the Beauty of Joseon Dinasty cream 🙈 they all seem great from your reviews! Any advice for combination dehydrated sensitive skin? I ❤ your videos! Great job! And thanks for all the great tips!

I’m currently using Urang rose ceramide cream. Will definitely try Illinois cream. Will you please review Urang skincare line just based on the ingredients list. Thank you 🙏
Yay always excited for a new video 😁
I sam using the illiyoon that I like but I"m excited to try the cosrx moisture power enriched cream next.
where do you guys buy the illiyoon cream? not sure which website to purchase❤️ ty much love
How about Ample:N Ceramide Shot Ampoule? It has beta glucan, ceramides 1 2 3, cholesterol, niacinamide, allantoin, arginine, adenosine, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Xylitylglucoside, etc. No essential oil, fragrance or alcohol. It is on my wishlist now. 🙂
Kelly can you please make A video on The best products with panthenol? Also. I I would be so happy if you tried sidmool's galaktocide serum, ampoule, and cream. They contain egf, nmf, galactomyces ferment, peptides, and all 4 complexes of cica!!!
Cannot wait for my Stylevana order to arrive! Snagged the Illiyoon cream :)
Ceramide good for fungal acne SKIN too?
Illiyoon cream would be suitable for fungal acne skin too?
Good job👍pls set a skin care routine for dry dehydrated skin 😒I stay in a dry place (Dubai)even Hyaluronic acid doesn’t work for me.
I think i may try toners and essence first then maybe seal them with moisturizer. Gel or creams both kinda dont work for me i hate the feeling of something on top of my skin.
@@rumystikI feel ya! The feeling of something sitting on top of the skin is not nice.. It might be worth it to check James Welsh's tips on moisturisers/creams for oily skin, I see he sometimes recommends water creams, although I have never tried them myself. I have a normal/sensitive skin, prone to dehydration, so I need all the layers and creams I can get 😅
Hi Kelly I am looking for a moisturizer for the winter months. I have dry dehydrated acne prone skin. I have tried the pyunkang yu Ato however everytime I apply this cream on my face it becomes very itchy and red. Please help! Thank you
Iliyoon 350ml lotion on stylekorean for $13.50 guys! It's lighter than the cream but is perfect for my oily skin!
Hello Kelly ! We have also the "Mammonde ceramide cream" with hibiscus that i love so much
Hey, what do you think about the green tea aqua soothing gel ? For oily/sensitive skin or aloe propolis soothing gel by benton? Which one is good for hot/humid weather.
Can I use the illiyoon after using the stratia liquid gold? Can the illiyoon be used as an occlusive?

Can I use the Pyunkang yul blue label cream together with retinoids?
Also Kelly!
Do you have any videos on Millia? I have pesky ones under my eyes. 😩
No I don't, it's not something I have experience with, sorry!
Kelly Driscoll It’s alright, Kelly ☺️ I think gentle exfoliation can work on it if I do it consistently enough
The milia has definitely gone away under my eyes with chemical exfoliating. All over my face, honestly
