Lol. Since last 15 years, I have travelled a lot and filled 3 passports, however when it comes to visiting US, I dread going to US Embassy. I misunderstood a question in Barbados US Embassy and gave wrong answer. Now a friend is wanting to sponsor my visit as he a co-founder of my start-up. I have US visa anxiety and fear. I am 46 well settled now and that incident 15 years ago left a scar on me. Your videos encourge me to apply again. Might as well do a session with you guys first.

Please in the year 2010 I went for my visa interview at the US embassy and I wasn’t approved due to unforeseen circumstances.
I just found out that I was using a wrong date of birth all this while which was being recorded in my old passport.
I am preparing for another interview after 13years but this time around I made some few corrections on my date of birth in my current passport and a change of parent name on my birth certificate and since the embassy is still having my old records, is it going to affect me based on the changes I have made and if it is going to affect me, now what do you think I can do to convince the consular ?

Hi Ben, appreciate your videos. Really helpful and insightful. Just had a query - I travelled to the UK thrice and used my visa properly and came back in time. However this was more than 5 years ago and the DS 160 form doesn't have that option. Should I anyway tell the visa officer proactively?
Attach your old passport with UK Visa with your current passport you are taking to American embassy. The counselor might see it and ask for it. You can also mention it to the counselor during the interview

I've been refused 4 times. The fourth time, when I went to the window, the officer told me that neither him nor his next colleague can interview me. I had to go to the third window who didn't interview me yet. But the conclusion was: "Unfortunately, I cannot overcome the previous decisions my colleague had taken". So what I have to do?

Hi sir 3 time my b1 ,b2 visa got refusal . Now how many month needs for reapply sir. Dont know the asked how many countries u visit i said only Thailand. And when is you got refusal before he asked i said 4 month before. Thats its there no more questions he not asked invitation latter also he said keep it your self then my 3 time b1 b2 visa refused. I dont know why.

I got denial under section 214(b) B1/B2 in 2020. Can I re-apply again. I don't understand why my visa got rejected at that time. But, your video encourages me to re-apply. Well , I'm well settled here and really wanna go to tourism purpose.

If I am ask ‘why did I get denied the last time’ how should I present my case cuz the last time I answered all the questions perfectly but my first two questions she said I was talking fast and I should calm down,so I think the reason for my last refusal was lack of confidence because I can remember my heart beating fast. Now how will I present my case, should I tell her I was very nervous the last time or not?

It's possible, but the friend in the US will not help you get your visa. It's all based on your own qualifications
If the Visa Officer asked a specific question and you just speak about your highlights, it will look like you're ignoring their questions and will make the officer more suspicious of my case probably will even resent my answers as trying impose an other frame for the interview in my favour.

I would really appreciate if you could help me with the following query with regard to my name.
My passport & all documents have my complete name as "Wasim Ahmad Mir" which comprises my first name as Wasim, Middle name as Ahmad & Surname as Mir. So shall I put my First name Wasim & middle name Ahmad in the Given name space while filling DS160 form coz there is no separate space given in the DS160 form as such for middle or do i need to ignore the middle & just type in my first name & Surname. In addition, i don't want this to create a name mismatch issue which may result in a refusal?

I had a Visa refusal under Art 214(b) 2 months ago in Tallinn, Estonia, the reason for the refusal was indeed the officer's mood and that I was not prepared at all.

Hi, in order to get an admit, I applied to multiple courses (msc business analyst,cyber security, data science n mba) across various universities . Hi Argo, I have heard several times that visa officers ask WHAT HAS CHANGED？after a visa refusal. In my own case, the VO never asked. I only had one refusal after which i applied again. After asking questions, he just said YOUR CASE IS NOT DIFFERENT FROM BEFORE SO I AM REFUSING YOUR VISA.
He never gave me the opportunity to state what has changed. He only asked the same questions i was asked by the formal VO. So obviously my answers will be the same and we are told not to lie but to stick to one story.
That's the most important question to be prepared to answer at your interview.

yes, my friend was approved for the second time after updating her status, like making the first term payment. She had the receipt as proof. When asked about sponsorship, she stated, "My dad is sponsoring me, and he has paid the first term tuition." She offered to show the receipt, and the visa officer did not ask any further questions. It seems they wanted to confirm your commitment to attending that school.

Can you be denied due to the choice of the school
A better school = better chances of being issued.
In Mumbai, US Visa interview office counter no. 33 and 34 created and creating problems for Indian students under visa F1 Visa application, they are rejecting Indian students with no reasons, they are playing with career of Indian students.
