    The entry-level Cadillac gets better for 2024, with updated styling and some new tech. Is it enough to compete against the BMW X1 or Mercedes-Benz GLA? Let us know what you think!

      It should be a popular seller, when we first reviewed in back in 2019 we said it would quickly take off to be a best-seller for Cadillac.

    I like what they have done with this XT4, it drives nice too. We have looked at and driven most of the compact SUV’s out there, think this is what we have now settled on.

    Does the new XT4 have more rear leg room than previous versions? I just installed a car seat for the first time and actually find it very tight. The front passenger has to pull up very tight to make room for the car seat. My XT4 is a 2020 so wondering if this is a difference In The newer models?

    We are currently looking at this car. Do you really have to use premium fuel?

      Not necessarily, I got it a month ago and have been filling it up with just regular gas and no complaints. I’m loving this baby!

      It's something that's recommended, but not required. Many cars say they 'recommend' premium fuel for better efficiency or performance, but only a few truly "require" it.

    • @davideast9332
      @davideast9332 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes! If you want premium performance, use only premium fuel! Otherwise, you risk messing up that engine! I speak as an owner. 2021 and currently 2024.

    I looked back in your videos and I didn't see a Lincoln Nautilus 2024. We are currently shopping and the XT4, Nautilus, Aviator, Grand Cherokee BMW X5 all Hybrids.

    Nice Cadillac but not having an optional engine killed it for me. 235HP? If I’m spending that kinda money I would like some decent performance and the XT4 simply doesn’t have it. My other gripe is why on earth does GM use the worst feeling plastic accents? It’s unacceptable for a “premium” product. I could care less about video screens unless it’s being used to watch movies on which unfortunately Cadillac did away with their 5.1 surround sound systems. I still have my 2011 SRX and haven’t gotten rid of it because I can still play Porcupine Tree, Rush, Genesis, Dire Straits, Billy Idol, Megadeath, Metallica and soooo many more artists in 5.1 while cruising down the interstate.

      Options would have certainly been nice, considering other vehicles in Cadillac's line up have offered choice. Nile ended up having this exact same build a month later and talked about the lack of electrification options on this.

      The thought the XT4 styling is nicer than the 2024 BMW X2 that I eventually bought, but with both cars heavily optioned it cost $5k more than the BMW, ($54k versus $49k before price haggling).Also it did not drive as responsively as even the 28i version of the X2, let alone the M spec 35i. The only advantage the Caddy had besides styling was the ventilated seat option which is not offered on the X2.
      I don’t know why, with two cars so similar in size, equipment and specifications, the domestic car would cost 10% more than a car that is made in Germany, and has to be transported all the way to California.

    • @XX-166
      @XX-166 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Palaemon44you didn’t haggle enough and there are programs available for this vehicle to offset the cost pre haggling. Your BMW maintenance costs will be much more than this vehicle also.
