The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel. Every other car that I test drove had turbo lag, whether short or long...Mercedes GLC300 (least turbo lag), BMW X3 (a little more turbo lag), Porsche Macan S (even more turbo lag), Honda (way too much turbo lag). The Cadillac has these features that TH-camrs miss: - lighted logo behind the dashboard - pulsating safety seat (most cars only beep) - left behind child in the rear seat alert - capless fuel tank (like my 2017 Corvette C7 ) - umbrella storage in the doors (like Rolls Royce) - active noise cancellation (like my 2017 Corvette C7 with Bose) - power passenger seat with lumbar - free 5G hotspot My other car is a 2017 Corvette Stingray in stickshift.
With this refresh, Cadillac has regained my full attention in this segment. They’ve addressed everything I wanted them to address in the facelift and managed to make an already attractive little CUV look even more grand and upscale than before inside and out. I feel that they’ve done something with noise dampening and materials because the XT4 seems to be quieter now too. Their twin clutch AWD system on the Sport is amongst few that gives Acura’s SHAWD a real run for its money! Very intelligent powertrain with good power.
This is now a beautiful vehicle. That interior is over the top. Btw, you can get heads up display. It’s part of the technology package with power tilt wheel and wireless charging.
I just ordered one, a Premium Luxury with the sunroof and cold weather packages. I can't wait! One thing you guys didn't mention is the front leg room, which I believe to be the most generous in the class at 44". For tall guys like me (6'4"), that's absolutely crucial, and Cadillac kills it with this. Gorgeous car all around.
I bought a 24. I love it. My only disappointment is the AKG audio system. It's actually awful, no bass whatsoever, even after hours of adjusting settings.

Saw a commercial for this and had to have it despite having just got a new cx5 sport a couple months before . Absolutely beautiful in side and we got the beige seats since we got the black interior for the cx5. I love everything about the xt4 but the cx5 drives way smoother in my opinion. Both are turbos but the turbo in the xt4 isn’t all that great unless you put it in sport where the cx5 has way more acceleration from a stop. I got the sport edition cx5 so it has a few things the xt4 doesn’t have like HUD, sun roof and ventilation seats. Not a deal breaker and both cars were about the same price. Indefinitely prefer the xt4 just for the sheer fact it’s a Cadillac and it catches the eye. For the price for the AWD version it’s a no brainer if you don’t have a big family and need extra seats and trunk space. Front and rear heated seats, and lumbar support for both driver and passenger all come in the base model so it doesn’t actually like you’re buying a base model . Love this car!! Also it doesn’t mention this but the passenger seat fully reclines and the seat goes all the way back so it gives you a tremendous amount of leg space for road trips!

Yeah, it is an entry level product but it should aspire to be more since Cadillac is not so much of an aspirational brand to most people. The back windshield is so small and the rear seat headrests don’t fold down to give an unobstructed view. Not a fan of exterior piano black.
Calling those “options” isn’t true. Options can be taken off of a vehicle and something tells me they won’t be removing the moon roof, paint, audio system, cold weather package, or destination charge😅 If you’re a good negotiator you can easily get those charges taken off tho👌 And when I saw the inside I certainly didn’t see or feel “luxury” it’s a pretty boring interior that actually looks pretty cheap, and that 33” horizontal screen doesn’t help IMO🤷♂️ better options out there for $50,000
Not bad but it's still a GM product. I will take my 2024 Audi Q3 over this which is a bit cheaper but better overall quality, runs on regular fuel, comes with a spare tire and quattro 4wd is standard.

I just got rid of a Cadillac, and all I've got to say to these guys and this video is that, "You couldn't PAY ME enough money to EVER own another one of these low-quality, poorly engineered and even more poorly manufactured cars EVER AGAIN!" Biggest piece if shit I've ever had the horror of owning, hands-down. This was the SECOND Cadillac for me; the FIRST one was ALSO garbage as well, but I thought, hey, I just got a lemon, I'm going to buy this one. Huge mistake. Never again, Cadillac...or as I call these vehicles, "Trashillac." Junkillac also has a nice flow to it. A Cadillac is more for an older MAN, who still sees the LONG PAST and faded glory of a Cadillac as the best, the ultimate...IT ISN'T, and you can KEEP IT. In addition to being VERY NOISY, particularly with prominent wind resistance noise, for a vehicle of this class, the ride was also harsh and jarring; it rode more like an old pickup truck, able to FEEL each and EVERY BUMP, STONE, and POTHOLE in the road....just as though your ass was dragging the road in a kid's homemade Soap Box Derby "go-cart," it was ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE. GM did NOTHING, except, of course, to send me a condolence letter saying, "Well, we're sorry you feel that way....". Yeah, "thoughts and prayers" for the $78,000.00 you just lost as we RIPPED YOU OFF. Even though THEIR PRICES ARE FAR FROM LOW (or even reasonable!) their PROMISES of HIGH QUALITY, RELIABILITY and unparalleled LUXURY was NOT, because it NEVER EXISTED to begin with, at least not in THIS generation of Cadillac! Therefore, I leave you all with this famous quote: "The BITTERNESS of POOR QUALITY is remembered long after the sweetness of low price fades from view-" Aldo Gucci
I want to love it, but that’s just too little cargo space and low ground clearance though bonus points for seats folding fully flat. I also wish it had a good awd system option rather than the typical basic style. Really nice looking interior and screen and I appreciate that the sound system is available on all trims.
this XT4 will be Discontinued in 2026, been a general motors guy for 50 years, there going all electric so on that note, they left me, going to buy a Mercedes GLC

I got this car it's great except not as nimble doing a rough turn onto the highway is my Subaru Forester for some reason

It would be cool if they offered a sporty trim with the 2.5L turbo that will be in the new Traverse. Maybe someday.
